She’s the target of an intergalactic bounty hunt. But he’s going to capture her heart.

Aurora Day is running from a crime she didn’t commit – or at least, she didn’t mean to commit. But the intergalactic soldiers on the hunt for the woman known as the Fox don’t care about the details. Hiding out on the remote frontier moon of Clotho is her only hope for survival. But to gain access, she has to adopt an alien baby. Aurora is shocked when she learns that a dragon warrior of the Invicta is part of the package.

Kade knows two things about Aurora. The bright-eyed Terran is going to be the mother of the child he has pledged to guard and grown to love. And the mysterious woman is fated to be his mate. But Aurora has no interest in his love, and she doesn’t even seem to be that interested in adorable baby Lyra. She’s clearly hiding some secrets, and Kade is determined to unearth them before his dragon’s wild lust for her burns them both alive.

When Kade runs afoul of the local law enforcement, only Aurora can save him. The perfect life she’s dared to dream of is almost in her grasp, and now it’s all about to come crashing down around her. Will she stand her ground and fight for her new family? Or will the Fox keep running for freedom?

Kade (Alien Adoption Agency #2) Reviews

  • Ashley Carr, LSoR

In this story we get to follow Kade and Aurora‘s journey as they navigate parenthood. She is a wanted rebel and he is a dragon warrior of the Invictus, an unlikely pair but they just work. Aurora is Kade’s mate but he doesn’t want to overwhelm her and all of the new changes in her life so he doesn’t explain that to her. They are both proud people and when they witness injustices going on on their new home moon of Clotho they have to speak up and with speaking up comes consequences. Will Aurora be able to defend the merchants of Clotho while trying to fly under the radar? Will Kade finally admit to Aurora she is his mate before he loses her? Great addition to the series and I can’t wait for book 3!!

Kade, Aurora, and Lyra began their journey, Aurora was so worried, being parted from her friends she wasn't confident about hiding her secret plus her signature red hair could give her away. Kade had a secret too! Aurora was his mate and he already loved Lyra. Can he keep them together

Wow totally a phenomenal book getting ready to read #3...

Kade de Tasha Black Serie Alien Adoption Agency libro 2

    Argumento:

    Who doesn’t love an outlaw
This author continues to amaze me with her imagination and the detail she is able to weave into her stories as well as the characters. I really enjoyed this book and the way these two manage to pair up when everything is all said and done. All of the danger and excitement made this a super-fast read that kept me on the edge of my seat until the HEA. This book fit perfectly with the first book and I can’t wait to see what the author brings us in book three.

Book two of this adoption series was a fun, fast read. Aurora is hiding from her past on a frontier planet. Accompanied by the handsome Kade, she has taken on the duty of raising an alien orphan. The storyline is a partial continuation of the first book as in the purpose for her arriving on the planet is to raise the adopted child. The timeline of the book is interwoven with the previous book, but from Aurora and Kade's perspective. The story moves quickly. The chemistry is undeniable and the plot is well written. I love the plot twist at the end with some of the secondary characters. I especially love the heroine as she is not weak, but heroic and strong.

If you like sci-fi romance this is a worthwhile read.

This was a quick and fun read. I loved Kade and Aurora’s chemistry and banter. It’s a story filled with drama, action, adventure, chemistry, and romance. The characters are well written, the storyline was entertaining , and the characters were perfect for each other. A great story and I can’t wait for the next book in this series.

This is the second book in the Alien Adoption Agency series but the first that I have read. I am a huge Tasha Black fan and am so thrilled that I was able to read this one. She always does such an amazing job of world building that I feel ass though I could reach out and touch the places and things she describes.

With a huge bounty on her head (a million credits) Aurora is a wanted woman. She needs to stay hidden and what better way to do it than with a dragon? Kade and his dragon know that Aurora is their mate which means they will protect her.

Aurora, Kade, and their adopted daughter Lyra begin to settle into the small village they are living in. Then things get a bit edge of your seat. Aurora issues a challenge that they assume Kade will be dealing with. Only nothing seems to be going their way.

As I said I enjoyed this story. It was fun and the action was just enough to keep it from being over the top with the romance. Although the romance is sweet and well worth the read.

I received this book for free in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.

Aurora has a bounty on her head and having bright red hair she is easily recognized and covered her hair immediately. Aurora is one of the women to be selected to adopt a baby, the last of the Imberian race and in return she would be given a plot of land to raise her child, in Aurora case a cottage. But her main reason to adopt a child, was to hide her identity and live in peace. That is when she meet Kade, a big golden, gorgeous, Invicta warrior, a dragon shifter, with his charge, baby Lyra, but what she didn't count on was liking the baby and Kade very much
Kade, a Invicta, warrior, a dragon shifter who at first sight knew Aurora is his mate and knows he must take it slow with terran woman, but to him she looks familiar. They headed to the neighbor to introduce them self and hope they will give them some food till morning, since all their dry goods was ruined by little critters invaded the cottage, but then the neighbor lady said Aurora looks familiar. When they get back to the cottage, Aurora tells Kade who she really is and why she had to cover her hair. But when they go to town and see the sheriff and his men threatened and treat the merchant cruelly can Aurora stay quite or will be be her rebel self and will Kade stay quiet to protect his little family.
I am volunteering to leave a ARC review of this book..

This was a quick and fun read about a woman who moves to a new world to adopt an alien baby. The author was incredibly imaginative with the world she built for these characters to experience.

Aurora is a wanted woman with a million credit bounty on her head. Her fire red long curls are an eye catching and very distinctive characteristic she needs to keep hidden. She is from very poor planet where people have little and are treated poorly. She is overwhelmed by the cute cottage Kade brings her to along with her new cute adoptive daughter Lyra.

She is attracted to the giant golden warrior and her heart melts when she sees her newly adopted daughter snuggled so gently in his arms. Kade’s
Dragon recognizes Aurora as his mate, and she feel like Kade is her home.

Aurora and Kade quickly make friends with their new neighbors, but inadvertently cause problems in the small village when they stand up for the merchants. Aurora challenges the Sheriff in the Sheriffs Cup a 3 stage competition. She and Kade think he will be the one competing, but at the start of the competition are surprised to learn it will be Aurora since she issued the challenge.

As the competition ends and shortly after the winner crosses the finish line, the Intergalactic Regiment show up seeking out ‘The Fox’ as Aurora was known. Will she end up in prison? What about her daughter Lyra? How will Kade react?

I received an ARC from the author and I am voluntarily leaving a review. I am eager to read the 3rd book in this series about Phoebe and her green alien warrior and alien baby boy.

    Redeemed!

A wanted woman has two choices run or stay and fight the charges. What she doesn’t do,is adopt an alien baby and move to a far away planet! Aurora was a boss and I loved her character. I knew right away that I would. She and Kade were perfect for each other and I loved how their relationship just sort of unfolded like an old fashioned fan. The world building is imaginative and the characters are well thought out. There is action and sexy times and a lot of humor. The end of the book came too soon but there is still Tyro’s book to come and I can’t wait to read it.

    Foxy lady!

Aurora is a strong woman righting the wrongs in her world. I love that Made supported her in her choices. Both are great strong and enjoyable characters. Love the baby, too! Loved the story line.

This was a sweet book with a little bit of action! Aurora Day, also known as The Fox, really steals the show in this story. She's wanted for a crime she didn't commit. Kade is a dragon shifter and a warrior. He is vowed to protect baby Lyra and Aurora. What Aurora doesn't know is that she's Kade's fated mate. This book surprised me. I guessed the plot would go differently. Kade is sweet and hot and capable. But Aurora proves just as capable! Maybe these two will fall in love along the way. An exciting second book in this series! Kade is relatively short and a great read for any night. And I absolutely LOVE this cover! 4 stars

When reading the first book in the series, I was intrigued by The Fox, so I was excited to read Aurora's book. I think it's interesting that the books are titled after the hero, but the stories are centered so much more around the heroine. I get the impression from the titles that the men are much more alpha and gendered than they truly are in the story. I love the way the roles are almost reversed.

  • Gladys

Kade and Aurora made a wonderful couple. I really enjoyed their pull of attraction, intense chemistry and clever banter. My attention was grabbed by the entertaining storyline that provided a combination of romance, action, drama, emotion and excitement. This is such a fun series that really I think has its own unique feel and a fresh twist that makes it super appealing. I'm really looking forward to book 3! This is my objective review that I am posting of my own accord.

    Here there be Dragons

An enjoyable romp from start to finish. There is always dark corners in the world and unfortunately our heroes find it early on. They find the perfect solution!

Wow! “KADE” is the 2nd fan-freaking-tastic, page-turning must read in the latest series by Tasha Black! ... With hunky aliens, feisty women, adorable babies & shifters, this 2nd book from the ‘Alien Adoption Agency’ series will grab you from the start & hold right on until the end, just like it did to me! ... Always a fresh & unique storyline, great characters so relatable like the H/h, Kade & Aurora, plus witty dialogue, hooked me from page one so I did not want to put it down whenever real life got in my way! :o lol ... Even tho I volunteered to read this before release day, it was without any outside influences plus I usually buy kindle books whenever I can. So I honestly do recommend this to adult fans of fiction & now I can’t wait for more from this author, but of course I will :D

    Loved the characters

Ok I loved this book more than the first. It took some thinking about why. And that was because there was a strong, caring, brave woman who stood up to be counted, to do the right thing. And there is love and family. Loved it.
