The way its written: 3 stars
The overall book is good. It consists of tooo much knowledge from so many sources. It clearly seems that the writer did so many efforts to gather this much information. When you go on reading the book it comes clear that how villages of Punjab were named, how they were ruled and who ruled them.
It also tells a lot about BHATTIS, MARATHAS, and other categories of caste. It may include most of the battles of Punjab, how bravely everyone fought and how courageous people were at that times. This book needs to be read by everyone specially Punjabis. Know your history. It is really important.
But reading this was tedious because every other line consists of so many names and so much information at the same time. It was difficult to learn so much and to remember this much. At one point I really stopped reading this. I mean it is good to give this much information but there is always a way to narrate it. This could have been so much better. Yes this book tells so much history but make it easy so that everyone can digest every line easily.
