Who needs Christmas when it brings bad memories? Jude is hung up on his past but his bisexual brats Q and Sabrina are going to drag their normally good-natured Dom into the festive season even if they have to put him on the naughty list. But being in a ménage a trois isn't simple.
Family drama, unexpected consequences, and the sexy shenanigans all avalanche in with the snow to make Jude, Sabrina and Q find out exactly how deep their love goes.
This is a standalone Christmas novella that is a sequel to the Happily Ever After story of The Dom with a Safeword.
The Dom on the Naughty List (Badass Brats #1.5) Reviews

THE DOM ON THE NAUGHTY LIST follows Jude, Q, and Sabrina’s journey as they struggle through their first Christmas as a devoted trio. They confront painful pasts, new family conflicts, and a startling Christmas surprise that none of our main characters were expecting. I delighted in revisiting this trio in a new and Christmas-themed way. Pour yourself a cup of hot cocoa, warm up by the fire, and steel yourself for some naughty holiday fun.
It’s Christmas time and Q, eager to make up for crappy Christmases past, is determined to make this Christmas the best holiday ever. Sabrina is happy to go along with her girlfriend’s plans, but Jude does not share her enthusiasm. Tragedy devastated his family two Christmases ago and has since put a damper on his holiday spirit. Fortunately for the trio, Q won’t let Jude play the Scrooge this year. As she put it:“We’re going to start some traditions in this family… so you and Jude better just get used to having a holly fucking jolly Christmas!”
While our trio prepares for Christmas and confronts painful memories, new heartaches emerge when Sabrina prepares to come out to her deeply religious and judgmental Catholic family. It was both beautiful and difficult to watch. She was astonishingly courageous to come out to a family that had already proven to be very unforgiving and accepting and my heart broke for her.
This novella deals with heavy emotional issues, but it just wouldn’t be the Badass Brats without some mischief and sexy times, and THE DOM ON THE NAUGHTY LIST delivers it in spades as all things Christmas and leftover sugar cookie icing is too tempting for Jude’s bratty subs. It’s a good thing he loves his impish subs, becaue his Naughty or Nice list doesn’t help keep his impish girls toe the line.He examined the tree. “We still haven’t put the angel on top. Which of you wants to sit naked on top of t until Santa comes?”
There was dead silence before he heard a giggle from under Q.
“No dirty jokes about Santa coming or I’ll tie you both to the fucking tree for the whole twelve days.”
“Yes, Sir,” Sabrina said quietly. “Only I’m never getting out of my head the picture of Santa with sparkly, glass blue balls.”
THE DOM ON THE NAUGHTY LIST was a perfect follow-up to THE DOM WITH A SAFEWORD. While the previous novel dealt with the conflicts of beginning unconventional relationship and the pains and joys of sexual discovery, this novella shines a light on the trials that those of the LGBT+ community face during the holidays. Our characters deal with loss, new heartache, and the uncertainty that change brings but they also experience love and the joys of a deepening relationship. I’m thankful for the opportunity to watch it all unfold. -
This story is a stand-alone sequel to The Dom with a Safeword. It continues the lives of Jude and his bratty subs Q and Sabrina.
The group is learning to live as a ménage a trois, but things aren’t always as easy as they seem. Confrontations with family are especially hard when the truth is finally brought forth.
Wait ‘til you read what shenanigans those two brats get into, imagine chopping down a Christmas tree, doesn’t sound too sexy right, but Q and Sabrina bring sexiness to it, how about cookie frosting…talk about hot stuff, oh and Jude becomes very inventive with some rope in only a way a Dom can!
An unexpected surprise on Christmas Day will show them how strong their love for each other is and how much this little family’s lives can change.
I love their whole relationship, made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside, the brats made me snicker and the Dom made me almost drop to my knees. Hope to continue reading about this family in next book in the Brats series. -
Short, kinky and sweet. Silverwood, Shaw and Black bring back three wonderful characters and give a staggering encore performance filled with love and kink.
I loved this novella! It was wonderful to get back to Q, Sabrina and Jude and see how there relationship has progressed since The Dom with a Safeword ended.
One thing I love most about Q, Sabrina and Jude has to be how much their love for each other really shows and this made the perfect Christmas read. It was settled around the holiday and even with an unexpected surprise and some family drama with Sabrina’s family the three of them stand strong in their love for each other. The hot kinky sex scenes are just icing on the delicious cake. ;)
I have read everything author Cari Silverwood has published and I know I can count on her for a wonderfully sensual, hot and kinky read filled with emotion—with authors Leia Shaw and Sorcha Black it is like doubling the awesomeness.
I cannot wait to read the next book in this Badass Brats Series!
I highly recommend The Dom on the Naughty List to anyone looking for a great, kinky and sweet read but I do recommend picking up book one, The Dom with a Safeword, first.
**This is a must read for anyone who has read and liked The Dom with a Safeword!
*I received a hardcover/paperback/eBook copy/ARC of this book for free to review from the author/publisher/tour site; this in no way influenced my review, all opinions are 100% honest and my own. -
I ended up enjoying this book quite a bit but it took a bit for me to *like* Q and Sabrina. Honestly, the title of this series doesn't lie. They are brats. Sabrina pushes and pushes to see how far she can go to get Q and/or Jude to punish her. Q pushes Jude. Jude Doms them both. It just took some doing to get me into their playful spirit. I wasn't a big fan of Sabrina's finger pointing ("Q did it!") but Jude called her on it, which made me grin.
I *really* enjoyed the dynamic when they pulled together as a family and supported one another when things got rough. I think that was probably what sealed the deal on liking this book for me -- as sexy as it was (and it was sexy), it was the characters coming together and being there that got me.

This is must read! If you loved Jude,Sabrina and Q in their first go around, you will get a chuckle out of their holday antics and find yourself teary eyed in the end. Just when you think their love can't get any deeper, these author's will amaze you. Sabrina and Q make brattiness look inviting. Jude's brats struggle to get him in the holiday spirit and make the naughty list the place to be.
Check out Dom with a Safeword to see where it all started. You won't be disappointed. -
This was good. A Christmas story about 'coming out' about their menage to family, and creating family traditions of their own.
This story was very playful. A lot of mischief from the women, in an attempt to make Jude not so grinch-like. There was a seriousness to it also, during the family time.
The kink was plentiful and creative. I really enjoyed the cookie frosting fight in the kitchen, and the aftermath.
A solid story of a M/f/f menage. -
The authors present to readers another installment in the lives of Jude and the bratty duo. It's not all peaches & cream with this trio and that makes for a more heartwarming tale. The realism of actually living as a trio and all the obstacles thrown their way creates a perfect set-up of how love can overcome. There is a part one in this series but this book can be read as a stand-alone.

As expected, this book was awesome! These are some talented ladies and i'm glad they keep coming together to write these amazing stories. I loved the ending, it was so sweet. Now to look forward to the next book :)
-
What a great story! Can't wait for #3 :)
-
Aaawww, cute novella! I love where this story is going. It's awesome that this wasn't a fling and it didn't turn into a sex and run with a hint of kink. I love that's it's full of meaning, love, real trials and tribulations. A poly lifestyle is hard and add a bit of kink and D/s to the mix and there is bound to be prejudices. Plus a family. ... whoa!

THE DOM ON THE NAUGHTY LIST is a part of the Badass Brats series and I have no idea how I missed this book. I thought I had read all the books within this series. Oh well, I have read the book now! This book could be read as a standalone but it would be more fun to start at the beginning. Now you won’t have to worry about that because it is sold as a set.
I love the interactions between Q, Sabrina & Jude. Q is a switch, Sabrina is submissive and Jude is their Dom. It certainly complicates things with 3 in a relationship and we get to see how they have been learning to live in a BDSM ménage a trois lifestyle.
I have really enjoyed reading this book and the series. I hope for more books by these authors! -
Really enjoyable sequel
This is a really enjoyable sequel to Dom With a Safeword. Jude and Sabrina and Q deal with life as a triad, they deal with Sabrina's family and they deal with Jude's family and they deal with Q's family, also they deal with Christmas and each other. Also there is some spanking and lots of hot sex. -
Really 4.5 Stars
Warning.....this review/blurb contains spoilers for book One
I loved the first book in this series; It was the first time I had read a FFM that actually had a HEA and it was such a cute one too! This holiday short did not disappoint and I would recommend it to all fans of BDSM menage!
In the first in the series, we saw how the dynamic of this trio worked. We have Jude, the changeable Dom who knows how to cater to both of his very different subs, Q, the bi-sexual switch who sometimes just needs her punishment rough, and then we have Sabrina, the bi-sexual brat. I loved their dynamic, I loved how well they worked together to fulfil each others needs and most of all I loved the completely different personalities that they brought to the table.
In this tale, we see them after their HEA. They are trying to achieve normality and we come across them at Christmas. They are trying to establish new traditions, trying to become a family and they are doing it all whilst dealing with "coming out" to their family. It was an interesting look at the issues that these three characters faced, especially as Sabrina's family were religious. In book one, Sabrina hacked me off to no end but I really grew to love her in this one. I did enjoy the female characters more than Jude in this short tale; I didn't feel that he got the airtime in this one because his "issues" weren't as angsty as the female characters.
Good sex is what I expected from this novella and good sex is what I got!! There was FF sex, MF sex, FFM sex and all variations inbetween! It was hot yet fun at the same time; the scene where Q decorated Sabrina with icing was HOT yet made me giggle. It was inventive, kinky and lovely all at the same time. If you aren't sure you'll like FF literary sex, this may be one to start with as there is something in there everyone will like.
This is a fantastic follow up to a story that I enjoyed. With lots of sex, love and happiness, it was a story that turned me on as much as it made me smile. I love all of these characters and I enjoyed this glimse into their world after their HEA....look out for the scene with the ball gags!! -
when you fall in love with a story and the characters and all the quirkiness coming to an end of a book is a sad thing... it always leaves you wondering "what happened next, what were they up to the next morning, what was the next big fight", you long to read more about all the things that make the story THAT good !!!
that's why I always love and appreciate these little stories that help with the daydreaming what happens next in the characters lives !! but thing like this is always a delicate matter, not to give too much an write another novel and maybe and overkill or give just a too little tease and make the readers mad for being a book-tease ... it takes skill to do it right and still have the readers hooked for more of the series or other stories ... this right here is done just right !!!
and just when you think that you have seen all the shocks and groundbreaking-moments, these three go and blow your mind with a plot that you NEVER see coming and I have to tell you it's a beautiful one !!! for those who are reading this first and the book after I won't give any spoilers but let me tell you that you didn't expect things in this book and just WAUUUUUUUUUUUUU
keep them coming ladies and brats LOL -
Life is good for our threesome, and with Christmas approaching,it’s time to start building a few traditions of their own.
Sabrina feels it’s time to tell her family about her feelings for Q.
They’ve accepted Jude, but think Q is just a friend and that needs to stop.
Jude’s family is another hurdle for the girls.
In the meantime, they still manage to get into trouble with Jude regularly, and he thinks it’s a good time to start a naughty list....
Will Sabrina’s family accept she’s happy with her life as it is?
Jude’s family is so different from hers...
And to top it all,Q has a surprise for them.
I am so glad to see these three finding their way in life, together!
But how about their friend,Cross?
What will it take to see him finding the same?? -
The authors have an amazing way of writing the characters and the dialogue well. It probably helps that there's three (main) characters and three authors.
The way the characters stands out really sucked me in and I liked how the artefacts of christmas was used in the narrative.
My problem with the book was that I just couldn't find a plot... and I got a sneaking suspicion that the authors have jumped on the trend of serials. (Please say it ain't so) -
I don't normally read M/F/F, but this series I have been enjoying. I know it's because the Dom, Jude, actually has a sense of humor and doesn't expect his subs to be quiet and do what they're told all the time, after all, they are 'brats' and he enjoys their behavior. I do have a soft side for Jude! Mind you, there's no way in hell I want to have done to me what gets done to his subs at times LOL! but I enjoy the interaction, the humor, and the softness that's revealed.

A look at Jude and his Brats one year later. Great to see them working out together, and what a lovely Christmas gift! As usual, some serious steam in this one too! A very quick read as well.

My first venture into reading a true BSDM story....not just spanking. I have to say that the story, while otherwise excellent and surpringly tender by the end....confirms my suspicion that this isn't the subgenre for me. For those that love it...do not hesitate to pick up this book or this series. I apologize for those who do like this but it just was not an ejoyable story for me. Hence the honest review is three stars right down the middle...otstanding writing but unenjoyable topic. If I offended anyone I sincerely apologize. But unless you try it won't know if you like it right?

LOVE IT!!

Enjoyed this book. I love the support they give to one another. I like how her family comes around at the end. Can't wait for book 3 to see what happens with the addition ;)
-
The romance, D/s, and brattiness continues.....
-
A Fun book to read. Thanks Maryde for the recommendation.

The authors didn't disappoint. I liked this book almost as much as I loved 'The Dom with a Safeword'. I was hoping to learn more about the characters and I did. The author tells the story through the perspective of each character which made it more interesting. Q is still a strong sub but she left her annoying brattiness in the first book. Luckily the authors left out the ghost hunting. The book was missing some BDSM scenes. There were a few but they were short lived and not very interesting, more like rough housing. They talk about a club but they never take their play outside the house. I hope the next book gets back to more of a BDSM style rather than a romance with rough play.
