At least, that’s what Luna believes when she boards a rickety space craft headed for a frontier moon to meet the child she will raise in exchange for 100 acres of land and a modest stipend. But she doesn’t count on the dangerous animals, the short but lonely nights, or the big blue warrior who informs her he is on permanent security duty for the baby.
Noxx is a proud dragon warrior of the Invicta, dedicated to use his strength, strategy and endurance to protect his homeland. When his commander assigns him guard duty for a baby, he resents the interruption of his career. It’s bad enough that he’s starting to bond with the little whelp, but the instant he sees the child’s adoptive mother, he knows she is his fated mate. Noxx will have to deny his desperate craving for the dark-haired beauty if he wants to hold on to his chance at redemption.
When a last-minute trek through the forest of Clotho gets them entangled in a dangerous battle, Luna will have to learn to trust the hunky blue warrior. But can the dragon let go of his duty long enough to let himself love someone, and be loved in return?
If you like strong women, sexy aliens, wild adventures, steamy sensual scenes, and happily-ever-afters, then you’ll love the world of Stargazer!

Welcome to another edition of "Amazon Recommends..."
THE COVER
The color scheme? How Purple, Pink and Blue are blended together. Show-stopping.
Those scales? Or at least I think that's what it is... what a beautiful feature and very fitting for a dragon warrior shifter. I'm impressed.
But how the guy is holding the alien baby? That's seems very unnatural. I'm concerned.
What is the book about? Well good question, next question.
I don't know if I was still blinded by the outstanding cover that I couldn't keep up with the content in this book, but I mean the title says it all. The heroine Luna goes on another planet to adopt an alien baby from this Alien Adoption Agency. Noxx (H) is the baby's protector and his task is it to help Luna settle in with the baby in their new tree house any play their bodyguard, cause around them are a lot of monsters. Big shoutout to the piranha-pigs. Those omnivorous creatures wake up at night to clean the forest ground. I didn't know I needed piranha-pigs until I read this book. That's why I love reading, there is always a new kink to discover. <3
For 75% I was just confused, because I didn't know what was going on and the other 25% I was laughing, because I was scared. Here are some of my favorite quotes with some of the notes that I took.
Phoebe had told them she hailed from a tribe of farmbers. Adopting a baby meant she would be given her own plot of land so that she would continue in that tradition.
NOTE: What? So ... that's how this works. You can adopt some random baby and get your own piece of land? Where can I sign up?
The Invicta had at last been granted the right to use the Imberian DNA to cultivate a crop of pod-babies to honor their fallen ancestors and resurrect their kind.
NOTE: What? WHO? What? Why? What did they do? HUH?
This baby was supposed to be an orphan. But he was blue, just like Noxx. She had been too busy gazing at her new son to pay much attention to her friends, but she thought she had noticed Aurora's baby was yellow with a yellow guard and Phoebe's was green with a green guard.
NOTE: What? Where is the correlation between being an orphan and the skin color? I don't understand this. HELP.
"Is there some kind of plant and animal guide for Clotho?" she asked him, hating the nervous twang in her voice.
NOTE: What? Okay?
"Ha," he laughed mirthlessly. And kept walking
MY TOP 2 QUOTES:
"And besides, tree monkeys are delicious."
NOTE: I'm asking once again WHAT? * chuckles nervously* I'm in danger.
"I think she might have babies in that nest," Luna said, sounding horrified.
"We don't have to eat them all at once," he chuckled. "We have a refrigerator."
"He's blue, like you," Luna said without thinking. Noxx chuckled. "Oh God, was that racist?" She asked, feeling horrified.
NOTE: What in the loving fuck?
A part of me wants to give this 1 star, because for the most part I didn't understand what was going on, who these people were, what these creatures were doin and straight up not having a good time, but then at other times I was on the floor cry-laughing. So 2 stars it is.

Update: The moral to the story is: Whether you're an alien or a human, don't trust any guy!!! He will deceive you, gaslight you, abandon you, and then return to you because he could *never* leave you.
I'm not sure why I thought the Alien guy would be better!!
Should have known better SMH
The only pluses were: when you adopt, you get a plot of land, money to support the baby, and a terrace flat!!
The baby was adorable, hungry all the time, and cranky af.
The hero was loyal and devoted.
The heroine wasn't pleading with him or acting pitiful.
BUT NO groveling!!! You cannot simply let the man return who abandoned you and your child because he says so!!!
I know it was only for a few hours, but STILL!!!
Plus this dude wasn't exactly a catch!!! He was trying to eat baby monkeys!!! CUTE BABY MONKEYS!!!!
At the very least, this book entertained me.
But I'm trying to break out of my reading slump.
Soooo
Pre reading thoughts
The ONLY thing that can get me out of this reading rut is a blue/purple (what shade is that?) Alien!!!
That is the only thing/creature/living being (how do we address aliens without sounding offensive?) that can save me.
I'm at a loss for options and desperate to get back into reading.
And something about the cover makes me think it'll be a fun read.
What does it matter if the plot involves an adoption agency with alien babies??!!
(I hope those babies look like Stitch!!!)
THAT'S MY CHILD!!! HE'S TAKING AFTER ME IN TERMS OF APPETITE AND MANNERS!!
I'm here for the ALIEN GUYS AND THEIR DIFFERENT SKINS!!!!
Leave him alone!!! He is kinda SHY lol
Can I get a Turquoise-colored alien boyfriend? It's my favorite color!! On the other hand, I do have a lot of turquoise clothing. Isn't that going to clash with his skin?!! I'll have to think about it.
With my luck, I'll end up with this. -
Enjoyed. The book does end at 87% and so the last 20 is a sample of the next book.

Eres mi hogar, Luna. Eres mi todo: mi compañera, mi amiga, la madre de mi hijo. Nunca más te negaré nada. Te amo, Luna. Soy un guerrero, pero has conquistado mi corazón '.

Noxx de Tasha Black Serie Alien Adoption Agency libro 1
Argumento:
Me dejó muchas incógnitas.
I liked the premise but it lacked in execution. Little baby Sol was pretty cute and Luna fell in love with him immediately. I wanted more from Noxx.
-
They author skips through real meaningful parts as if the characters already had these conversations. Bizarre. The story idea is pretty cool and fresh but it needs help.
-
Fun read with wonderful worldbuilding and hunky alien that can shift to a dragon.
-
No character building, feels like you don't even know Noxx. Zero chemistry between Noxx and Luna. Little Sol was adorable though but had very few scenes. Nothing felt like out of world.
-
When our eyes met
Sign me up to adopt! Especially if each baby comes with a dragon protector. The author did a fantastic job with this story! The story was an interesting new concept, and I loved the way she added depth to it by giving Noxx and Luna such different personalities and abilities. The addition of the village took the story to another level, and brought tears to my eyes in grief and joy. This book is an amazing series starter and I can’t wait to read the next installment. It sounds like it’s going to be exciting. -
Heartwarming! 3 1/2 Stars
Luna and Noxx and baby Sol was an enjoyable adventure! There's action adventure, intrigue, mystery and good friends that made this book a good read! -
Got this on sale before I looked at the reviews 🤭🤭. Oh well, let's see where this trainwreck takes me.
-
3.5
-
Very simplistic. Easy read.
-
Poorly written
There was no real world building, no character development and no real relationship building. There was the whole insta mates thing, but that was it. Noxx's personality did a 180 for no apparent reason and there was no reason to emotionally invest in any of the characters. There weren't any grammar issues, at least, but I really don't feel the need to read anything else by this author. -
I thought the concept would be cute but man this was lazy world building. It coulve been very interesting and detailed if the author had bothered to go into detail about the society the planet the history even physical description but they didn’t. So it just felt like a sad excuse to make and alien romance
-
I was so excited to read this book! It was so amazing! How a book could be so sexy, sweet and then funny! So far, Tasha Black I have loved every book I have read and I can’t wait to read the next one!!! Now onto the next… <3

(Fair warning: I'm sick so this review probably sucks. Enjoy!)
The little green aliens? More like big, blue, and handsome.
Noxx is my very first Tasha Black and it won't be my last, I can tell you that much. When I decided to read it, on a whim, barely knowing what it was about, driven by boredom (and hormones because a blue guy with a child in his arms???), I had no real expectations. And wow, how surprising this was! This short book was so damn amazing and fun, I can hardly believe it.
If I thought I'd just enjoy Noxx and forget about it afterwards, I was wrong. I loved so many things about it, I don't even know how it's possible. ^^ First of all, I loved the world. Imagining it was so easy and I'm going to be honest, I wish I could actually see it, visit it... Sounded like an exciting vacation destination, to me anyway. I also loved the characters - especially the main couple Noxx and Luna. I loved how they both had things to learn and how sometimes they made ridiculous yet pretty normal mistakes... I loved how sweet and respectful they could be with each other, and the love between them... And baby Sol stole my heart.
Long story short, I loved Noxx, I'm excited for Kade and I want to read Tasha Black's other books. If you're searching for a short, entertaining and well written sci-fi romance with a pretty original plot and without the amount of smut that you can find in Ruby Dixon's books for example, definitely give Noxx a try! I promise you won't be disappointed. -
Luna is going to have all of her dreams come true when the Alien Adoption Agency flies her in a rickety spacecraft to a frontier moon to meet the child she will raise in exchange for 100 acres of land and a modest stipend. What she didn't realise was that there were dangerous animals there, short nights nor the big blue warrior who has informed her he is the security for the infant. Noxx is a proud Invicta dragon warrior who has up to recently used his strength and endurance to protect his homeland - so an interruption to his career to guard a baby is an unwelcome assignation from his commander. Even worse - he has started to bond with the child and as soon as he sets eyes on the adoptive mother he knows she is his fated mate - can he refuse the dark-haired beauty? When a last-minute trek through the forest of Clotho gets them entangled in a dangerous battle, Luna will have to learn to trust the hunky blue warrior. But can the dragon let go of his duty long enough to let himself love someone, and be loved in return?
I enjoyed this book with the grumpy Noxx and the caring Luna who had quite a backbone when she had to have one. The way that she surprised him with her skills setting up some of the technical equipment was great to read as he was starting to think she could not be capable of such things. An enjoyable story with some moments of danger and drama as well as tender loving moments too. Well written and easy to read and understand. Contains some explicit sexual content. -
Fascinating, mesmerizing, a MUST-READ romantic Sci-Fi adventure!
I love to read romances, especially the ones when the reader gets to see the romance develop between worthy and loveable characters. Then to have that romance take place in a world so creatively crafted that this reader became lost in the vivid pictures author Tasha Black painted with her eloquent narrative. I couldn’t put my Kindle down until I read every last word! Then there are these amazing characters. They came to Clotho strangers. Knoxx, a noble warrior who hates that he has been ordered to guard a welp and its adoptive mother on a planet far from his world. Luna has traveled the galaxies to adopt the welp and fulfill her dream to be a mother. Together, they are charged to care for Sol, and in doing so find they aren’t strangers for long. The major and minor plotlines are compelling and kept me turning pages to find out how this unlikely pair could work together and create a nurturing environment in which Sol could grow. I laughed, I cried, and I leapt for joy, but that’s I all I can say. I wouldn’t want to ruin a minute of this fascinating romance or the world in which it takes place. I will STRONGLY recommend with a 5+STAR rating that KNOXX be your next book/romance purchase! Happy Pages! 😉 -
Adopting and a new start
She was chosen from alot of applications and shes able to start a new life with adopted baby. He part of a dragon elite solider he was chosen to be the baby's guardian till he reaches of age. When they meet at the moon where they're going to live his dragon perked up and said Mate. The solider fought that she's their mate. The baby bonded with him and took on his blue skin. It took a week or so for the baby to get use to her. She gotten the communication in radio up and running. She can build thing electronic while out looking for food ( she took parts out of the food reputator to finish the radio) they found a lost boy who couldn't speak. She figured out that he signs but not what she's use too. They get him home the next day and they realize that's he's a warrior and asked for help....he said no. He'd gotten a message that a ship was coming after him, he had requested to be taken off baby duty. He leaves and she and the baby to the villages to help them. His dragon had other idea and they fly home to her and the baby. They help the villager's move because their new home was the giant bees summer home. All is good now that he listen to his dragon. -
Definitely felt like pre-teen level. No world building. Unoriginal in general. Honestly, a hovering cradle? Literally pulled from The Mandalorian. Even the "instalove" was lame. Luna, the heroine, has like no personality at all. She's suppose to be this "smart, scrapy, simple Terran girl from poverty" who had to learn on her own how to survive, yet she has no survival insticts at all. Basically making poor decisions and then acknowledges they weren't the brightest and vows not to do it again. Then goes and does exactly what was told would be dangerous, like a kid who throws a fit and blatantly disregards any warnings. Noxx on the other hand was just straight up annoying with his boring internal struggle. And forget any sexy scenes. Not every book has to be erotica but every adult alien sci fi should be at least R rated, this was barely PG13. It was my first reading this author's work and ONLY because another of my favorite author's recommended it. Honestly side note to authors out there: y'all need to really think about the quality of your "friends" writing before recommending to your loyal readers. I felt kinda betrayed and used that one of my favs recommended garbage, and NOT the first time either.

Noxx is single-minded and focused...
Noxx knows what his mission is, whether or not it is one he would have signed up for or chosen. He's an honorable, focused warrior, and he will do his duty... hopefully without being distracted by an ill-prepared human.
Luna can't imagine why the adoption agency sent them off the way they did, but how she, and the two other women with her, arrive matters a lot less to her than the fact she is arriving... A new world, A new life, and most amazingly of all, A child is waiting for her. A chance at a family, and to build a home... once Noxx delivers them ... Right?
This done in one quick read centered on two characters who hadn't been given all the information before they met, something that happens all too often in life. Add in a local community that Luna realizes she may want to not just interact with, but be part of, and the story was great fun.
There was.just enough with the other two women, particularly Aurora, to have me curious about their stories, but not feel like reading Noxx will be required to follow their stories, that being said, there was a lot of very interesting world building in here. -
Now I am stuck on another series by Tosha Black. I am so enjoying the series about aliens and the women that take their hearts. After Noxx and his people practically exterminated a species they now have an opportunity to build it back up. Using technology they begin to start that species again, only now a warrior is designated to look after the baby along with a female unknown to them. Luna is from Terran planet, to me it sounds like they are mostly human. She is now off with two other women to adopt a baby and raise it as her own, little does she know that a warrior comes with it. They both end up on the planet that was chosen for them to raise the alien child, and now their life begins. The descriptions in this book were amazing, bottom line is it is about bringing a family together and trying to make a community. They have their ups and downs, there is danger all around them, Luna is willing to accept all of these changes, but can she get Noxx to change with her? I love this book I cannot wait to keep reading this series

Luna, Noxx & Sol
She had no family, no means of getting ahead. When the offer to become the adopted mother to an alien baby came she took it immediately. He was sweet, blue but sweet. He seemed to like his protector better than Luna but that would change when it was just the two of them. Only it wasn't gonna be that way. The hunky guard was a permanent fixture.
Noxx had lots to teach the woman who didn't set a good impression, to begin with. Would things change, especially when he learned immediately from his inner dragon something surprising about her?
The story, as always with Ms. Black, is unique with a strong woman and strong but feeling male. Both of them have surprises come that are fun reveals to the reader. Add steam and other interesting characters plus a bit of a preview into what is coming up for one of her sister adoptee mothers and you know you'll love it.
