Easy reading!
I didn't enjoy the first book in the series except to learn about the characters. Once into the second book I was almost hooked. It was when Carlene was introduced that the storyline became believable. She, Bugsy and Corrie made the final two books really enjoyable. It was a well worth reading series. I'm about to get the next in the series now to continue my easy reading experience! -
Absolutely brilliant
I loved these books, I was gripped from start to finish. The characters are so real and the author makes you feel like you are actually there watching everything unfold. I hope there will be more Detective Jack Dawes books. -

I thoroughly enjoyed reading these books. For crime mysteries the books are funny and serious and full of twists. If you like crime mysteries then I thoroughly recommend these books. -
These books are and entertaining light read. I like the main characters and the way they interact with each other. This is not gritty realism, it is more in the vein of Agatha Christie, just what I want at the moment.

Love the characters
Seeing the characters grow, laughing and learning with them, really give me not. Corry, Buddy and Carlene are probably favourites. Looking forward to more adventures. -
Loved every word! Great heartwarming stories, loveable characters, laugh out loud incidents. Exactly what you need to take you out of yourself during lockdown. Can't wait to start book 5.
