BOOK 2: THE BLUEBELL KILLER
A body is found floating in the Thames, its head and hands hacked off. The murder rocks the affluent residents of Kings Richington. They band together to demand a cover-up. DI Jack Dawes is on the case, but how can one man expose such a huge conspiracy?

BOOK 3: THE SHETLAND KILLER
DI Jack Dawes is called away to the Shetlands days before Christmas. A young woman lies sprawled beneath the tower of Doomdochry Castle. It looks like suicide, but Dawes suspects foul play. Can he uncover the castle’s secrets before it’s too late?

BOOK 4: THE GALLOWS GREEN KILLER
When the Browns move into a beautiful house on Gallows Green it seems like a dream come true. But is it too good to be true? A local man is found dead at the bottom of a slurry pit, and a few bad apples reveal the village’s rotten core. As the body count rises, who will be the next victim of the Gallows Green killer?

BOOK 5: THE MOON KILLER
Six apparently motiveless murders. The only thing linking them is the killer’s bizarre M.O. Then DI Jack Dawes realises that all the murders take place on the night of a full moon. Can he lure the murderer out of hiding — if it means risking the life of a member of his own team?

    Easy reading!

I didn't enjoy the first book in the series except to learn about the characters. Once into the second book I was almost hooked. It was when Carlene was introduced that the storyline became believable. She, Bugsy and Corrie made the final two books really enjoyable. It was a well worth reading series. I'm about to get the next in the series now to continue my easy reading experience!

    Review

I thoroughly enjoyed reading these books. For crime mysteries the books are funny and serious and full of twists. If you like crime mysteries then I thoroughly recommend these books.

  • Jean Ward

These books are and entertaining light read. I like the main characters and the way they interact with each other. This is not gritty realism, it is more in the vein of Agatha Christie, just what I want at the moment.

    Love the characters

Seeing the characters grow, laughing and learning with them, really give me not. Corry, Buddy and Carlene are probably favourites. Looking forward to more adventures.
