Emmeline first met Noah when she was a young girl. They ran into each other over the years.
Their families have been in a feud for many years. It is now into the third generation. What caused this feud? Why has it gone on for so long? Noah would like to court her but can't because of the feud. She is also drawn to him. They become lovers. Then Emmeline disappears. She may have been killed in a carriage accident but Noah doesn't think so. He feels something is very wrong. Will Noah and her brother end the feud and work together to find her? We have intrigue, mystery, suspense, a grandmother who causes trouble, kidnapping, blackmail, criminals, strange things happening, love, twists, and turns. Emma puts the hook in you in the beginning and doesn't reel you in until the end. A must-read.

Now they were out to get her. She dressed as a guy but they recognized her and ran after her. She headed for St. James Square thinking she would be safe there. She ran into Kenneth Wilson, Duke of Worthington, and almost knocked him off the step. When the four thugs came running by he ran after them. When he caught up to them they were beating and kicking her. They got away and he took her to his home. Will she be safe there? Will the criminals find her? Will Leah and Kenneth fall in love? This story is well thought out and well written. Action, romance, twists, and turns will keep you turning the pages.

Though they love each other Frederick tells Josephine she must find someone else and marry. He must find a wife who is his equal. He must also find out who is sending his mother threats. And why? Who are the poachers hunting deer on his grandfather's estate? Will he catch them? You will find mystery, intrigue, honor, deception, loss, redemption, and romance. The twists and turns will grab you and not let go until the end. The plot is well constructed and very well written.

Cheap reading.
Two out of three books were good reading, the middle book took 14 chapters before it got interesting. Those of us who read regency novels already know all about the slums of London at that time, too much about them until the story got going. That’s why I only gave four stars. -
Very good!!
All have a mystery about them that catches your attention. All are a bit wordy, but authors do that all the time.
