Fatherhood tried to kill me: The accidental at-home dad by Tony Hastie

This is a short account of my experiences as a first time father. There are snippets of advice throughout – but there are plenty of things about which I still know nothing… “Daddy, my bum told me it doesn’t want to wear pants today.” What on earth do you say to that? Well, here’s what I “how do you know what your bum is saying?” And her reply, “I speak bum!” I’ve learned a lot about nappy changing, potty training and a raft of other very useful things. But I have no tips on how to outwit a four-year-old who exercises such simple imaginary logic. You’re on your own there!
