Was going to give this three stars but the last chapter cracked me up. I need to go to Vegas more often.

    Funny sh*t!!!

I laughed at each story. I can imagine having game night with Jen and loving every minute. I recommend reading

Fun, funny and filled with quick wit, Mann is a talented writer who keeps the pages flying as you treat yourself to this delightful romp around the world. She impresses me not only as an author but as a person who knows her truth and isn't afraid to stand up for it no matter where she lands on this earth. Cheering her and all her future travels on!

  • Lindsey

I love her books. She’s so hilarious and always makes me feel like I can write a book because I have some hilarious stories, too!

  • Leeanna

This book had me chortling and laughing with tears running down my face well into the wee hours of the night, ticking off my hubby who was just trying to get some sleep. The stories Jen shares make me feel like I am right there with her. I love her descriptions and dialog. She is so amusing and relatable to most women. I had a great time reading this book and definitely recommend it.

There were SO MANY editing errors (missed words, punctuation, etc etc) and yet still 5 stars because no one makes me laugh as hard as this author, and I really needed the laughs!
I’ve read and loved everything of hers and cannot wait for the next!! I vote for “People During a Pandemic I Want to Punch in the Throat” but I guess it’s too soon for that. One day, maybe….
Do yourself a favor and read this, then read all her others. You’ll get some of the best laughs of your life.

Fun, quick poolside read. The title of this didn’t quite collect the essays the way others did, but I enjoyed this quite a bit more than the holiday edition even if she’s still a little too sheltered for my liking. I could see myself frantically searching a lot and getting freaked out by a raccoon, and yeah the beach and I don’t get along that well either.
Some of this was a little odd - never heard of immediate food poisoning like her husband was hit with on their honey moon.

  • Sabrina Reed

    So relatable!

I found this book to be very entertaining! If you have ever traveled you have encountered a few of the people Jen mentions in this book. Except Jen has a way of describing these encounters in the most entertaining fashion! We’ve lost our car at the same airport parking lot - but we didn’t encounter a raccoon that wanted to fight!

A lot of fun, especially if you travel

Everyone who travels has at least one funny or horrendous story about traveling. Jen Mann has a bunch and she tells them so well that this book had me laughing out loud. Her story of dealing with a flight attendant and still toilet training toddler ranks up there with the best of them.

    Highly recommended.

More of Mann's essay's about every day life. Traveling being the theme for this one. Like any book of collected essays, some stories are better than others. For the most part these are all very entertaining...there were one or two that I thought weren't as good as the rest...but overall it was very good. Any writer that can get me to laugh out loud while I'm reading deserves 5 stars.

  • Erica

Originally gave 3 stars, but rounding up to 4 because I really enjoyed this book. I read it on a plane, and maybe I was just delirious from exhaustion, but I was choking down laughter the whole time. Possibly my second favorite Jen Mann book (following her iconic first title). It’s like she went through a spell after becoming famous and finally found her voice again.

  • Tara Brabazon

I adored the title, but the book didn't live up to it. I was waiting for the 'funny.'

I had to settle for awkward.

Also, the observational component of this book was undermined by the fluffy personal stories. They were not funny. They were not accurate. They just ... ummm ... were...

Great title. Shame about the content.

  • Kelly

The writer reminds me of the great Jenny Lawson (Let’s Pretend This Didn’t Happen).easy stories that seem to randomly happen to all of us. I’d love to recommend to this author to watch a Kevin Hart skit where he also talks about raccoons; I feel like they could really bond with their experiences!

  • Belinda

Another hilarious hit from Jen Mann! I think I've read them all so far and remain constantly entertained. Lots of four-letter words, so not for those who are offended by that. I love her way with words and her talent for recalling life's funniest events.

  • Liz LaPlante

    Fantastic

Jenn Mann is hilarious! I loved all the stories in this book - it kept me up laughing all night. All her books are wonderful.

  • Debbi Sutton

    Another winner

Jen's stories are always interesting but most of all, laugh out loud funny. I highly recommend each and every one of her books. They are awesome!

  • Coley

Jen Mann does it again!!! This book is laugh out loud funny. Her compilation of traveling stories do not disappoint, especially her trip to Vegas and the hunt for tampons in Europe.

  • Kayo

    HIL A RI OUS !!
And I live in the area author writes about...not that I'm a stalker or anything. :-)

  • Tarra

    3.5

  • Jillian Mimi

I legit laughed the whole time. One of the funniest books I've read in a long time. Lol

  • Thomas Mihalchick

    Laughed so hard!

What a fun book to read! I wish it was another100 pages. I can't wait to read the other books.
