Although Christmas is only three weeks away, Allyson is looking for a new start in life. With her divorce finalized two months earlier, she knows it’s time to get away from the small town where her ex-husband and his new girlfriend are keeping house.

When she receives a job offer in a small town two hours south, Ally feels like she’s found the answer to all of her problems. She and her daughter Lily pack their few belongings and head south.

Only moments after arriving in Westland, Ally begins to second guess her decision as several unanticipated hurdles suddenly block her way. Not knowing anyone in town, Allyson soon finds that she must rely completely on the help of strangers.
