Carried Away: While Hubby Watches Reviews

    Husband and Wife Evolving

Dakota Stone's, Carried Away, is one of the most accurate descriptions of the way a couple enters the hotwife lifestyle. It includes all the battling emotions that the husband experiences as his wife metamorphasizes from loyal wife to uninhibited hotwife.

Before I get into the review, let me say I’m confused. The book I bought, read and am reviewing is the The Long Hug Goodnight by Dakota Stone. On Goodreads, it says the author of that title is Pat Jones. Dakota Stone has this book entitled Carried Away that appears to be the same story (same characters, story starts the same way). So I’m posting this review for both the books and authors.

I started reading this book because I read Chambers Island by Richard Brown/Dakota Stone (confusion here too). It was a terrific book, so I thought I’d try this one. This book did not live up to Chambers Island: I found the writing a little flat plus the storyline is a little implausible.

I do feel the couple, Emma and Dan, got to the place they both wanted to go, Emma just wasn’t very upfront about it. I felt Emma was still holding back when she got Dan to agree to the next step forward, and it’s never revealed in the story how Emma disclosed what she had been doing - I thought that would have been an interesting discussion.

Guys - I suggest you not read this book with your partner. It’s revealed that guys will agree to anything when they’re amped up on great sex. That may not be the best thing for women to know 😉

The book and conversations flow pretty well, and the editing is solid. I guess I’m just a little dissatisfied that this book didn’t live up to Chambers Island.
