Griffin O’Shea is trapped.
Again.
His prison sentence was supposed to end when the magic keeping the Dark Fae captive in Myrkur finally fell. But when King Egan’s army clashed with the armies of Iskalt and Fargelsi on the battlefield, there was no winner and no clear path forward.
Now the Dark Fae king is missing, vanished without a trace of the army at his back or the abducted child leading him to the prize he desires. The magic held in Aghadoon.
With no way to locate the forever moving village, Griffin can only set his sights on a more attainable goal—saving Eldur from the coming invasion. The desert kingdom is Egan’s next target and there is no magic strong enough to stop him.
Until now.
Joining forces with people who do not trust him may prove foolish.
Allying himself with the ones he isn’t allowed to love brings unimaginable pain.
Yet, with Riona and Gulliver by his side, Griffin can handle the unwanted magic that has returned to haunt him, the brother who hates him, and the questions with answers that could change everything.
But none of that will matter if Egan isn’t stopped, because now, it isn’t only the fae realm in danger of succumbing to his darkness, but the human realm as well.
As Griffin begins to lose hope that he can save his family and earn their trust again, he starts to wonder…
Will he ever truly be free?

What an epic conclusion to Griff's story! A very well-written storyline with fantastically well-developed characters. There is plenty of action, loads of emotion, magic, and romance. we get the answers we want, it's all delivered perfectly, and it will leave you grinning like a fool!

This is a fantasy adventure that draws the reader into the story and is hard to put down. I was so happy to see the development throughout the series of characters' moral codes. I loved that not everything was as it seemed and it really kept you on your toes.

The descriptions are so well laid out and developed that it's an easy book to visualize. I highly recommend this book to all fans of YA fantasy, magic, faeries, and good vs bad. This truly is a book written for everyone to enjoy!!

I really feel like I can't say this enough...
    READ THIS SERIES!!

Within this book, we follow Griffin's journey back to redemption. After the twins are stolen by his uncle and everything is left in darkness, Griffin must protect those that are important to him. But of course, not everything is as it seems when searching for answers. Lead after lead, they're left with nothing but questions. After a break within the case, Griffin's journey becomes not one only for himself but for everyone else.

This novel is action-packed with just the right amount of mystery and fantasy to have you hooked. I don't think I have read a series faster than I have burned through this one. I am honestly extremely excited to see how everyone's story will fit together now...

Ok, This book was the perfect ending to a super awesome trilogy! I have to say when I first heard the authors were going to write a series about a sort of villain character, whom I didn't really like, I was wondering what I would think of it. Well, I love it! Fae's Promise was an exciting adventure and I love all the characters! Yes, even the character I was weary of! All of the characters went through so much growth throughout all three books and book three did such a great job of really pulling everything together and not leaving the reader with any loose ends. This was a great read, I know it will be enjoyed by all who read it.

  • Jessica

Well, this was a perfect ending to the trilogy! I think I've managed to fall in love with every single character by now! Well, except for one or two... They all have their own personalities and growth, and I will miss them terribly, as well as the fae realms. If you love fantasy, adventure, characters that develop, great world building, and a little bit of romance - this is a series for you!

*I received an ARC from the authors, but my review is voluntary and honest.*

I loved this series. Its a young adult series, but its so addictive.
Griffin is by far my main man in this series:)
He goes from horrible to down right loveable. He redeems himself so well.

What an epic conclusion! I have loved this series from the start with its exciting storyline , passion, intrigue and the characters are simply amazing! There’s action and battles scenes and the world that has been created draws you in so much so that you feel as if you are actually there. Griffin’s journey is coming to an end and questions are answered and I like a series that doesn’t leave you hanging and gives you all the answers. A must read!

  • Tammy

Fantastic end to Griff's story. I loved that the battle was drawn out and not quickly done. They had to really work through the smaller battles to get to the big one. Enjoyed seeing everyone working together and also working through their personal issues. Would love to read grown-up Tia and Toby's stories.

  • Sydney

Wonderful as always. M. Lynn creates such vivid and magical worlds that just take you away. The journey that Griff has been through is coming to a close, and he is fighting for everyone to come out alive. All of the characters in this book have grown so much, from learn to love, to fighting for whats right, to learn that we can all change for the better. This book was an absolutely beautiful read. The bonus chapters were the icing on the cake.

    The Conclusion To Griffin's Story!😳🙏💘🎉
An Exciting & Nerve wracking Read!💥
Fae's Promise (Crimes of the Fae #3)

This conclusion is full on, so much happens right from the start. There's fear, destruction, physical punishment and skirmishes all leading up to the war between the 'good' Dark Fae with the 'good' Light Fae against all those who follow King Egun!!😡 Griffin, Hector and Shauna stick together most of the time because he feels closer & more comfortable with them than with his blood family.😢 He still doesn't know yet that Riona hasn't betrayed him but is keeping her promise instead, to protect Toby!😍

When they're all reunited they still need to find & kill the Dark Fae King, who ran away. Griff & Loch's mother is with him, by choice, using the book of power! The brother's & their partners set out to finish the war & the undo the trouble Egun has wrought! The 3 children, Gulliver, Tia & Toby all have integral parts in this story.😍 Will Riona survive to fulfil her destiny??😱😢

I really enjoyed this nerve wracking but well paced read. It's well written, as always and I loved getting to see the other Fae realms again! The vivid pictures the words created for Fela were so beautiful, especially how it was it recreated & it's new colours!💕 I adored the epilogues, it has to be said.😍
    What a great series finale!!🌟

What an ending! This was definitely an action-packed adventure with tense, emotional moments and lots of ‘I need to keep reading’ moments full of romance, magic and epic world building. I highly recommend this series especially if you like stories with the fae.

    *dreamy sigh*

Where do I begin? This book fulfilled every expectation I had about the whole series.

This book is the finale of Griff's journey and struggles. It's a balance of good over evil, and it teaches the reader that evil can not only be overcome, but that being evil is a choice, and all characters are empowered to make that choice.

The story gives us much more insight into Riona's story, background and future. The character development is exquisite, and, that character that we had deemed evil at the very beginning, is one of the true heroes in the end. Griff's struggles, Lochlan, Brea, Guillie and those twins.... I am happy the story ended as it should, but as I closed the book, I felt sad as this is the end of this journey. A true masterpiece by these two ladies, and I was not disappointed.

If you haven't read it yet, do yourself a favor, pick up a book and start the journey. You will not regret it.

Fae's Promise is the last book in the Crimes of the Fae series by M Lynn and Melissa A Craven and its the perfect end to a wonderful series. Griffin and his friends and family finally get the chance to defeat Egan once and for all, but that's not as easy as it sounds. Egan is an evil man who stops at nothing and so our protagonists have to constantly fight against him and his doing in all the Realms. That includes hand to hand combat, as well as dealing with powerful spells and old books. It's an exhausting fight, but our protagonists never give up!
I loved this whole series, but this book is by far my favourite! I love how the characters work together and how we get to know them better and better. The storyline is super suspenseful and interesting and I absolutely love how this series ends. It has the perfect amount of suspense, love and magic and it teaches us so many things. All in all I enjoyed the series very much and I can recommend it to every fantasy reader!

Exciting conclusion to a great series! If you haven’t read anything by these authors, you are really missing out. So grab this book and join the Fae’s fight for freedom.

When the magic that created the prison realm fell, bringing freedom to the dark fae who had lived in perpetual darkness, Griff’s problems are far from over.

His daughter was returned to her mother and safety, but her twin brother is still hostage to the evil king of the prison realm. While protecting his daughter himself, he entrusted the safety of his son to Riona. She pledged to get him to safety as well but the two never arrived.

Did Riona betray Griff? Does her loyalty still reside with the king? With the king waging war against the light fae realms, Griff must continue his fight against him and maybe even the woman he loves.

    The age of enlightenment

This last book explores the evolving relationships between the main characters and reconciles each journey of self discovery throughout the series. Even Lochlan finally melts a little and becomes less of the iceman and more forgiving. Griffin has the biggest arc of all and although he has a couple of minor slips along the way he puts his family first and power no longer has a hold on him. Riona is an important part of his change as she is his mirror and shows him who he used to be. He wants to be so much more than that now and his struggle to change is enlightening and in turn Riona for the first time sees that there may be a way out. Hope is a dangerous thing, great ending and I like the bonus chapters at the end

It was hard for me to get through all three books

I wanted to finish the story from the first trilogy but the children were almost unbearable. I’m not sure what kind of kids the author has been around to think it’s okay to let a kid nearly kill someone repeatedly or having so many children constantly not following rules, but the entire story is based on three of the children never listening to their parents and always putting themselves and others in danger, and then the adults are okay with that. It’s absolutely insane. I know it’s a fantasy story but it makes all of the characters immensely unlikeable for their actions.

  • Talia C.

    Very imaginative.

In this one, they are still trying to defeat the evil king. However, there is very little of him in this book. It seems to focus more on the library and all the magic it contains. It goes through lists and lists of different spells/magic, but never really finding one to help their cause.

By the end of the book, there are only two things that are left unexplained... how Riona knew who Neeve’s real parents are, and why the rift between world couldn’t be sealed or fixed.

This is a series I would recommend to anyone. I definitely judged this series by the first book way too quickly.

I knew I was in for a rollercoaster ride of this fantasy adventure but this was another level.
Full of passion , intrigue, excitement, action packed . Characters that you can’t help but fall in love with and an author that has the ability to draw you into the story and transport you to another plane.

Plus I do like a story that is well rounded off with no cliffhanger, especially at the end of a series.

If you’ve read the others in the series, you are in for a treat with the final part.

Absolutely brilliant. Can’t praise this book, this series enough.

    Most definitely recommend this.

Excellent ending to an excellent trilogy. Love how Griffin's story wrapped up. I couldn't have envisioned a better ending for him. Lots of action and battle scenes. Great character growth and relationship building. Not really any major twists. Only one big loose thread, no spoilers, but I'm hoping for a spin off about it. I'm glad we got this final conclusion to not only Griffin's story but all of the characters from the Queens of Fae trilogy. If you haven't read those, start there. Highly recommend all 6 books. Can't wait to see what else comes from this world.

  • Susan May

OMG This series just gets better with each book. I just can't wait to see what secrets are revealed in each one. I am also in love with Gulliver. He is such a great character who can make you laugh with his antics and is also the best medicine for Griffin. This story brought war so also very sad in parts. Riona is certainly an interesting character as well. Her Tattoos brought an interesting look for her since she was such a warrior. I can't wait to see what book 7 brings. This is one you should listen to because the narrator is amazing. Great series.

  • ErinTurnsPages

What a fantastic end to Griff’s story. I really really love the family dynamic they settled on. I was especially excited about the ruler that was elected, partially because I guessed correctly halfway through the book. I would love to see a spin off of Toby & Tia’s story or perhaps Gulliver, he is such a fun character.

I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review

  • Kat

Wow this book was an amazing ending to the trilogy! Absolutely great story with great characters that readers grew to love. I like that the author doesn't just make someone good or bad, but there's lots of in-betweens. The trilogy is wrapped up perfectly and I just loved it. I can't believe the adventure is over though. It was a page turner so I finished it too quickly, but I'll definitely be re-reading this!

  • Lita

Excellent ending to this series. I loved this story of redemption and triumph of good versus evil. I especially loved the way a couple of characters turned their lives around by choosing to be good. This was very well written with characters I came to love. The world building was so good I could visualize the different places. Highly recommend this series and it's predecessor, Queens of the Fae.

  • Mitch Faden

The story of Griffin and Riona is continued in this wonderful story of a Fae world interacting with the human world. It has lots of magic and lots of other world characters. Ogres, sylphs and creatures with horns will thrill you again. A story of family and love bonding everyone throughout. An excellent read for anyone that likes fantasy or good old romance.

  • Rebecca

What a great ending to an amazing series. The ending wasn’t quite what I expected but I think it did a great job tying up everyone’s stories and did the characters justice (which I feel a lot of final books in a series struggle with). I definitely recommend this series to anyone wanting a good, clean, fae story
