Trouble follows, and only he can save her.

Trixie Moonbeam Waller won’t fall victim to another jerk just trying to get into her pants. “No” is her standard answer when asked out on dates. But Michael “Dog” Ellis comes along, offering help without strings. Can she trust him, or is he only out to take advantage of her?

When Dog meets Trixie while on a training mission in Alaska, he doesn’t expect to ever see her again. When he finds her working at a bar close to home, Dog takes it as a sign. But she needs his help more than she needs his love. Or does she need both?

When Trixie disappears, Dog fears he will never see her again.

A SEAL for Trixie is by Julia Bright. This book will bring on the tears, so have that box of tissues close at hand. Julia can really wring the emotion out of her words and out of her characters. By this time, those characters are now good friends and you certainly don’t want anything to happen to your friends.
Dog was on a mission in Alaska and he hated the cold. This was, fortunately, a game and their mission was to take the other team’s flag. As Dog parachuted towards the ice, his only thoughts were to finish this game quickly. It turns out he caught some luck when he noticed the faint footprints in the snow and ice. He simply followed them and found their flag. He finished the game in three hours instead of the usual thirty-eight hours. The instructors were upset and thought he somehow cheated. Instead, he explained his tracking ability which he learned from his Native American grandfather. Now, he found himself teaching tracking to the teams. Finally, he was headed home after a night in the hotel. At the hotel, he ran into a feisty young lady who had arrived late because some idiot has let the air out of her car’s tires. As the gentleman he was, Dog stepped up to go get air in her car’s tires. She let him know he wouldn’t score by helping her.
Trixie was on her own and had been for many years and she was only eighteen. She had learned to handle the men who came into the hotel. They were military, fisherman, and offshore oil men. She was ready to leave and head to a warmer climate. She headed south to Southern California and warmer weather.

Three years later, she ran into Dog at the bar she was working at. This time she got to know him a little better, so when he finally asked her out, she agreed. Was she making a big mistake?

    Story was meh

Trixie was an okay character, at the beginning. Once she takes the job at Ace's, she seems to wilt. Author reused the same scare tactics that she used while Trixie was in Alaska. The wives of Dog's teammates and of the other Seal's, were absolutely there to help her out but she decided to not even approach that idea. Which in the end, caused her undue trauma.

Once the story between Trixie and Dog was over, there was a chapter from a different book. Then the normal end of the book stuff.

Come on people, Get It Together!

    Good read

Dog met Trixie when she was living in Alaska, but she had moved to San Diego a couple of years ago and was now working in Aces. She remembered him when he told her he had fixed her tires. She was dating him when she was kidnapped by a gang. He stayed with her while she recuperate in the hospital.

    A glimpse

A sweet, inspiring tale of love and learning to accept support and friendship from strangers.
Great characters to follow along in the storyline..

    Danger and love

Her man was beautiful. He was better than what she thought she deserved. Excitement, danger, loneliness no more. Very good story.

Would read parts of it again.
