Maybe it’s a good thing no one outside the prison realm remembers everything he did to earn his place in the dark kingdom.
Now that he’s back in the world of the Light Fae, he wants to earn their trust, their loyalty, and that means going after the missing prince and princess of Iskalt, children who call him uncle. It means searching through the human realm for a vanishing village only he can see and a book full of dangerous magic and devious secrets that are better left alone.
With a human leading the search, Riona at his side, and a profound lack of magic, the chances of finding anything they seek have never been worse.
But the odds won’t stop them. Nor will an illness threatening Griffin’s life.
Even if he has to crawl through the portals and face the king of Myrkur on his knees, he cannot stop.
Because there are things worse than death.
Watching those he loves die before him.
Seeing the realms of the fae crumble into dust.
Returning to the prison realm means being forgotten once again. Returning without the book could mean certain death.
But when all roads point to war, Griffin has no other choice.
The king must be defeated. His vast army must be stopped.
And this time, Griffin wants to be the hero instead of the villain.
Faes Power (Crimes of the Fae, #2) Reviews

There's so much happening in this book that I need some time to breathe, but at the same time I want to read on to know what's going to happen next! Often the second book in a trilogy is a long haul, just waiting for the third and final part, but this is definitely not the case with Fae's Power. I can hardly imagine what's going to be revealed next time...
I love the characters and their evolvement, the surprises and twists, and I'm sucked into this world as soon as I start reading. The travels they make to the human world offer a smile or two as well!
* I received an ARC from the authors and I'm giving my honest review. * -
I was blown away with book two. I loved Griffin more and more in this book. In this book, they are on the rush to find the two powerful twins Tia and Toby. This series for sure has the slowest romance I've ever read in a book. I loved it and hate it at the same time. I'm constantly yelling at them to just kiss and be with each other. So in a way, this book is a very accurate relationship. They take things slow and get to know each other. Definitely no insta love. In this book we get to have Riona's point of view and I really enjoyed seeing what is going on in her mind. To see what exactly is her plan. Poor Griff is just going through it blind.
The plot twists the author included were just that a twist. I wasn't expecting a lot of it but one of them after it was put into play it totally made sense. The only thing writing-wise that I wasn't a huge fan of was there was a lot of telling instead of showing. But the pacing was good enough that I could overlook that. The world-building is amazing I feel like after reading the 5 books in this series that I really know everything important about these kingdoms and their history. You would really like this book if you love fae fantasy adventure and family stories. -
This book is just awesome! Following on from the previous book Griffins journey continues and wow what a journey it is! It’s full of Non stop action and revelations, action and surprises, betrayal and twists and turns and a storyline that will leave you breathless after travelling on a rollercoaster full of emotions. There’s so much going on that you get lost in the story until the very end!
-
An easy and light read as all the books in this series have been. Sometimes you just need something less complicated but still a decent story line. A few twists but nothing crazy as well as more character development which I enjoyed. Again, this is just if you’re looking for a fluff type of book to keep you engaged but not much to process.

The search continues for the lost book and now the twins too. Griff fights for both the family he left behind in the prison realm and for the family that has forgotten him. They are putting all their trust in him but of course nothing is easy or as it may seem. Riona is having a harder and harder time as this quest continues with where her loyalties are with and all the secrets she has kept. Myles as always brings great humor to the struggles they come up against. I got to say I love his references. I got to say I am caring more and more for Griff. It was hard to like him in the previous series with all the bad he'd done but he has fought so hard to be a better person each day. It takes a good story teller to make you care for the one that has brought so much pain to people in the past.

I loved this series. Its a young adult series, but its so addictive.
Griffin is by far my main man in this series:)
He goes from horrible to down right loveable. He redeems himself so well. -
I received an eARC of this book via the authors. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of this review.
Fae’s Power by Melissa A. Craven & M. Lynn is the second book in their spin-off series Crimes of the Fae and picks up months after the end of
Fae's Prisoner. I’m honestly not sure where to begin! This story will leave you on the edge of your seat, holding your breath and begging for more. Fae’s Power is full of twists that will keep you guessing and may even break your heart in the process.
I’m beginning to think the authors hate Griff! The poor Fae! They put him through SO much in this book. Griff has put aside his self-flagellation for the moment as he searches for his twin niece and nephew, Brea and Lochlan’s oldest. He, along with Myles, Fiona, and Gulliver, have searched the human realm exhaustively coming up with nothing but dead ends. To top it off, Griff is ill. He can barely stand on two feet, let alone continue to search and fight for Tia and Toby. Yet he does it anyway. The strength he seems to pull from nowhere astounds me. His character has come so far from the spoiled prince we met in
Fae's Deception. Griff is selfless, thinking of others before himself, and driven to save the niece and nephew he already loves.
Riona, on the other hand, can be quite selfish, or at least let you think she is. She reminds me a lot of Griff when he served Queen Regan. Most of her motives can be explained in serving Egan, the king of Myr. However, her feelings for Griff are growing. I still haven’t decided how I feel about her. I think time will tell. If she follows through with her thoughts (yay! We get more of her POV in this book), I believe I will come to love her like I have Griff.
Overall I really enjoyed Fae’s Power. There are quite a few twists that I was not expecting. One is quite big, and I think we haven’t seen the ramifications of it just yet. I personally cannot wait for book three. If you enjoy dark Fae fantasy, I highly recommend it. -
I am continually impressed with these two authors. The book starts off in Riona’s point of view and alternates between her and Griffin as before. The book was filled with so much action I don’t even know where to begin. I know at the beginning right? But if I do that there will be spoilers and I don’t like doing spoilers. My first impression was excitement. Excitement over the relationships to be built and histories to be learned. I was very excited to learn more about Nihal especially as well as the city of Aghadoon. And in regards to Aghadoon... coordinates. How very human! My favorite part though would have to be the inclusion of the Fae illness. I found that very unique, especially as it kills when next to nothing is supposed to kill the Fae. Also, the building blocks to the boundary wall and the what dismantling it means, everything it signifies, it just melted my heart. And now I’m staring at my notebook and the half page of notes I can’t share because I absolutely will spoil it. There is so much packed into this book it had me on the edge of my seat. For instance, I got to the end of chapter 19, closed my eyes, and said “please don’t let this be the end of the book.” I was so pleased the next page started with a 20. And then, I finished chapter 20 and I thought chapter 19 had been a cliffhanger. The end, though a bit of a cliffhanger, thankfully is not quite as gripping as chapter 20. However I still cannot wait for book three.
I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review. -
🛡️🛡️ONE PHENOMENAL THRILL🛡️🛡️
Spectacular! This extremely talented, uniquely insightful and impressive dynamic duo, blew my mind and tilted my world on its axis, keeping you riveted on a razors edge and frozen to your seat, launching this jewel to staggering heights. Sparks ignite as daring drama, perilous intrigue, underlying threats, ruthless betrayal, brutal deception, escalating danger, spiraling suspense and unnerving situations, along with a boatload of unfolding revelations, you have one mind-blowing masterpiece. Anarchy, escapades and havoc run amuck, broken boundaries are expanded and amplified, reaching deep for every ounce of strength in a fierce surge of self preservation, powering through with such intensity and vigor, blasting this baby to life brilliantly. The characters, banter, interactions and charged atmosphere are realistic, complex and genuine with traits and qualities, adding depth and diversity, transforming into outstanding personalities. The scenes are abundantly descriptive with colorful details that blend and flow, creating one vivid backdrop that's so rich and lively it feels as though you were transported to ground zero with them. Remarkable job guys, thanks for sharing this thrilling block buster with us. -
I don't even know where to start. This series is now tied with the Wizardoms series as one of my all time favorites. I have watched these characters grow and flourish. So many great characters along with plenty of humor & action. This series has so much to offer. It is filled with greed, compassion, deceipt and loyalty. I am now in love with the character Gulliver. His antics through this book made me laugh along with Miles. After Griffin was sent to the prison realm, he gained a son, Gulliver. He had people who loved him and friends. Then he & Riona were sent on a mission to retrieve a magical book that King Eagen believed could help him remove the magical barrier around the realm. To complete this mission, they had to return to Iscalt which meant facing Brea, Lochlan, Miles & all the others he had betrayed. This journey will reveal many truths to Griffin and Riona as well. They will need to defeat Eagen and his army before they start a war. This plot just keeps twisting and surprising me with each page. I only guessed one secret in this one and the rest blew my mind. I can't wait to see what happens in the next one. If you haven't read this series yet, you should. It will leave you speechless.

My jaw is still on the floor. If book one set up the main story of this series, then this one brings the action. Oh soooooooo much happens in this book, but be warned there is a cliffhanger. Griffin has A LOT to overcome and learn in this book. Brea and his brother care for him now, and his guilt is killing him slowly. There is a quest (but of course 😉), many major revelations, secrets, deception, and at the heart is family and love. Whether family by blood or choice, there's love just the same. After this book, nothing will remain the same. They'll either rise to the occasion or crumble. All I know is together they seem to be able to overcome much. Brea, Neave, Lachlan, Griffin and Myles have all Been through so much pain in their lives. Whether they can remember it or not, thanks to the prison realm magic....the fact is they're all warriors at heart. I can't wait to See what happens in the next book in the series. Never a dull moment in this book with all the reveals, action and everything else. So be prepared for a one sitting read if possible!!

Fae's Power is a fantastic sequel in this series! I always expect- and I get - amazing world-building and character development. The twists and turns in this book will have you shocked and awed all at the same time. You really do get a feel for the world that the story takes place and it is beautifully written by two authors that seamlessly weave it together.
I fell a little in love with Griffin even when he wasn't totally the good guy. My opinion of him stands and I seem to find myself falling a more in love with him with every word I read. Riona is wonderfully written and provides some of the wittiest moments, especially in the human world. I am looking forward to seeing where the story takes her as she has really become a fantastic and deep character. Gulliver and the twins are a refreshing breath of air, they provide a break from the doom and fill you with a sense of hope. I loved all the storylines and backstories that the characters have been given and I see book 3 being even more explosive. I fully recommend this series and I'm looking forward to reading more. -
Melissa Craven and M. Lynn are the dynamic duo when it comes to YA Fantasy. I could ever hardly believe two people could come together to create such masterpiece. I have been following the series since the first books of Queens of the Fae.
In this second book, we continue Griffin's story, his internal struggles and how he wants to be GOOD, despite of the past lurking. However, we get a much more beautiful intricate story of Riona. These two women excel at creating a character, for it is rare to find books with such character depth and struggles.
These book brought me to tears, churned my blood in anger, and more than one time I wanted to through my book against the wall in frustration. Not because of the book itself, but because I could feel the character's frustrations.
This book will keep you at the edge of your seat, guaranteed. Oh, and book slump? That ceases to exist the minute you pick up this book. -
Wonderful continuation of Griff’s story. Can we find redemption for the wrongs of our past? True change is possible for those determined, but does that guarantee forgiveness? Find out if the good Griff does now can redeem his past.
Brea and Lachlan’s twins are still missing, taken to the human realm by their vicious uncle. Dreams have foretold Griff saving the twins but so far no one can even locate them.
It is certain that their abductor wants a book of magic hidden in the human realm, the same book the evil king of the prison realm has tasked Griff and his companions to find. If Griff finds the book, will he find the twins? Will he surrender this powerful book to the evil king to save his family in the prison realm? Such an act would be a new betrayal of his brother. How can Griff find a way to save all of those in danger? -
This series gets even more epic with this sequel! Still a lot of character growth, amazing world building that has me imagining myself there and oh, so much action. All I can say is that I had to finish this book…and I can’t wait for the next!
Fae’s Power is the second book in the Crimes of the Fae series.
I voluntarily received and reviewed an advanced copy of this book.

So indecisive
Everything about this book gave me whiplash.. Everything bounced back and forth, love to hate, trust to distrust, family to strangers.. it was difficult to keep up with. Which is why it only gets 4 stars. The surprise just wasn't there anymore, you could see it coming.
This one travelled a lot (literaly) but it definitely needed to. The parts where they are in the human realm scared of elevators or exited about remote controls was hilarious to me. Being around those things you don't think of it as magic but the fae do which was slightly humorous.
The ending is of course a huuugggee cliffhanger.. it of course left me with more questions, I did however get my answer from my question in book 3 (!!).. still can't believe that.
This last book better end magnificently or I will be so disappointed. -
This BOOK!!! It feels so good to fall back into this world with these characters that I love! This book was a total adventure! I never knew what to expect from chapter to chapter! The character's are so easy to like, apart from the bad guys that is! These authors spin fantastic tales of family, love, and life, all while weaving suspense, heartache, and adventure throughout making for fun and easy reading. This second book promises the next installment will be filled with even more thrilling adventures with these characters. It will leave you wanting, as it may or may not, end with a cliffhanger!!! Hmmpphh! I cannot wait for book three! Thank you M. Lynn and Melissa Craven for delivering such awesome books!!!

Fae's Power (Crimes of the Fae #2)
This was an emotive read that had shocks, tears & giggles. The race is on to find the twins & the book. Griff is desperate to make amends and keep his promises to Brea & Lochlan. Gullie & Rione have grown closer over time but no-one truly trusts her!😔 Griff & Rione have both changed in their time together but neither has fully opened their hearts yet. What will it take? There are two shocking events together that could change everything!!😳😢
This is well paced & written. The world's are brought to vibrant life throughout. I found it frustrating, exciting & gripping. The ending left me wanting to throw my kindle at wall!!🙈 Roll on book #3.🌟

Fae's Power is the second book in the Crimes of the Fae series by M Lynn and Melissa A Craven. We still accompany Griffin, Riona and Gulliver on their quest to open the border to Myrkur. They travel from Realm to Realm to find Griffs niece and nephew and bring them back into the safety of Iskalt. On their journey they stumble apon a great magical book which seems to play a huge roll in opening the border, but it's not that easy to get it and time's running out..
Fae's Power is a fantastic sequel to Fae's Prisoner and continues the story perfectly. It's a second book that's still as suspenseful and interesting as the first! I love getting to know the characters better and see them grow in this great adventure and I'm super excited for the story to continue! -
Some big shocks and surprises in this sequel to Fae Prisoner. I like the additional depth we are getting about Riona. I didn't initially love her character but she's alot more than she seems. For how serious this book is overall, the humor while the Fae are in the human world with Myles and he's trying to explain technology is refreshing Their reactions to elevators and cabs is hysterical. I really like seeing Griffin be the Fae we always knew he could be. He's really stepped up in a big way and isn't the same fae he was in the previous series. I'm anticipating how some of these events will play out in the next book. No spoilers but I'm extremely curious to see the true motivations of some of the characters. Highly recommend all books set in this world.

Kingdoms of the Fae
When there is power or a throne involved the Fae would sell their soul (if they had one to) to steal it, ascend to it or marry in to it. There is no love lost between family as the Fae lack that emotional connection humans thrive on and hunger for. When they are shown a different way that there can be peace and a sense of community it gives them a totally different perspective on life. Maybe that is why so many of them are fascinated by humans who have the one thing they don't. Griffin has come a long way in this book, he has slated his demons and trying to make amends for his mistakes. A few revelations throw him for a loop but he stays the course. He tries to do the right thing and save the people he loves if they won't remember it. -
This continues Griffin's story as he returns from the prison realm with Riona and Gulliver. Griffin is looking everywhere for his twin niece and nephew, Tia and Toby. He doesn't want to meet his family down. But he must return to the prison realm to protect the family he left behind. This book has a lot of movement between worlds and Griffin's magic seems to be waning as he gets sicker and it's taking longer to recover each time he creates a portal. The chemistry between Griffin and Riona is the slowest.... It's not slow burn.. the stove is barely on warm. 😆 I really appreciate Griffin's determination. A lot happens in the latter half of the book and it seems to roll right into the next one.

Fae's Power is a great second installment in this series. As with all the books from these authors I love the world building and character development. There are plenty of twists and turns including one I have been hoping for since the end of Fae's Destruction. I fell in love with Griff even when he wasn't very lovable and I love him more with every word I read. I didn't think that was possible. Riona is beautifully written and I am looking forward to seeing where the story takes her. Gullie and the twins give me hope for the future. I 100% recommend this series. I'm looking forward to reading more.

Seriously... this series is absolutely everything
I cannot tell you how good this series is; I have literally gone through half of it in less than a week.
Fae's Power is the second installment within the Crimes of the Fae series and dear god is it one you don't want to miss. Just when we start to learn the goal of Griffin and his role within everything the twins go missing. Within this book, we follow Griffin's journey to find the twins and a journey it surely is.
This series and Griffin's story is absolutely ridiculous, I just can't believe where this all came from like jesus... off to read the next book haha -
Oh my poor Griff. Things still aren't falling into place for him. Just when you think they are going in the right direction something knocks them off course. I will say I really miss Griffin's romantic side. I know it is not the right timing but I did really love that side of him. Riona is having issues of her own and we get to see some into her history. Someone from the past shows up and I can't figure out if I like her or not. The person is not seeming to be a good one. Can't wait for the next one!
-
Griff's story gets better and better although I still belief this is more than Griff's story. So much excitement in this one. The characters continue to grow, especially Griffin. I expect more great things from him continuing on. The surprise concerning the twins, I didn't see coming, but was a pleasant surprise. I have to disagree that Griff was never really in love with Brea. I believe he was very much in love with her (she just wasn't his forever). She was the reason he began his journey to change. Others along the way kept him on that path, but she was the reason he wanted to. This story is heartwarming, yet exciting.

Omg! This series is amazing. These power house authors team up and deliver a powerful book that packs a one two punch. They do not pull there punches and they do not worry about leaving a body count behind them.
Make sure you can read undisturbed because once you start you won’t be able to stop. It’s hilarious when in the human realm and of course with Myles and Gullie, but also heart wrenching and so full of feels. I can’t get enough and can’t wait for book 3!
