3 stars.
Instalove is one thing — it’s not my favorite, but when it’s well done I’m on board.
Exchanging “I love yous” after two conversations and a sexually frantic sleepover is another thing entirely.
This whole short is like 45 pages long. There’s a pretty hefty framing device (basically just name-checking other couples in the series), and quite a bit of end matter, which left like 30 pages for the actual falling in love. Just not enough.
I liked this couple! I liked the Before Sunrise-esque premise! I thought it was promising enough I’ll probably check out another book in the series!
The idea and the characters are just meaty enough that they’d be much better served by something 2-4 times longer.
Contains: instalove, American abroad, hockey star + waitress/failed model, polish heroine, prague setting
CW: brief mention of workplace sexual harassment

I absolutely love Isabella’s Ice Tigers hockey series. I immediately fall for each couple (or throuple!!!) and this book is no exception.
Wioletta and Smithy are just the cutest and in this delicious novella we find out how they met. It’s wonderful to see all my favourite characters sharing in their story just as they prepare to start several new adventures together.
The story is short, sweet but still has Isabella’s signature heat and steaminess. A wonderful little treat if you have an hour to spare. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ -
I just finished this short/story/book. I was rather interesting and I liked reading it I will have to get the others to see what happens.

Falling for Gravity
Though a very fast read, it is about how two people met. He is a NHL and she was a waitress they met while in another country. Their romance had sparks from the beginning. -
Sweet novella
Very short and sweet, introduction to the Ice Tigers hockey series. Worth picking up to read about Julian and Wioletta. -
3.8 a quick fast paced insta love novella. Julian is a man that when he knows what he wants he goes for it and Wioletta is just trying to get through life. I did enjoy hearing how they met especially through both their eyes, I just felt it was a bit too fast paced. Overall was a good read and I’m happy I one clicked.
