Interesting
I feel like the human trafficking portion of the story wasn’t taken serious enough in this story. Not only did Kace feel like having other people look into it, he initially wasn’t even gonna look into it himself. Jordan was right to go out and look for Heiress. I can’t get jiggy with no male boss character who swears he’s a boss but puts the safe return of his woman in the hands of his workers, who all really would’ve failed had it not been for Jordan. Promise’s behavior threw me off as well. How did she assure herself that she was going to be a better mother to Kobi but in the next two-three pages she was leaving her father’s house and didn’t want to spend time with Kobi in the pool? I’ll read the next part to see if something else happens. But uhhh this was interesting -

Promise needs to grow up and stop trying to say its everyone else’s fault! Now look at this mess she is in! And she calling for Kobe! I just hope that Kobi is okae! They say the Lord looks out for fools and babies and at this point promise was a fool and Kobi is a baby! Now Ana done let of two rounds and we left wondering who did she hit! It’s like this girls can’t get a break! Jordan still being a hoe but hey what can you expect! I like Kace I just wish that he would of went on and told Ana that night and not having her have to find out about his other house plus see heiress there as well! Now everyone she see her she starting stuff! Let’s pray Ana didn’t hit anyone and Kobi is good! Ready for part two -
Caught Up
This the first time I read a book from Vee Bryant but it won't be my last. I like Promise but I think she needs to grow up. She should have stayed away from Jordan cause he just not gonna do right. I think Raheim would be a better man . Jordan didn't care about crossing lines. I like Kace and Heiress together but he should have ended things better with Ana cause now she on some it I can't have you no one can.💌💌 -

This was my first read by vee and she did not disappoint!! Man o man...promise needs professional help! Yes she went thru a tough time wit jordan and losing her mom, but sheesh. Now she don got this baby caught up tryna be spiteful. Kace is good for heiress, but he didnt effectively deal wit ana b4 hand and now he and heiress are in a bad situation. Im still on the fence about raheim...hes a lil sneaky link..im ready to dive into part 2 cuz i need answers 🤣 -
Good Story But
I’m enjoying the story but so much is missing. Like how was Jordan a boyfriend to Promise when he was in jail right after he impregnated her. She loved him but he didn’t love her but now he loves her but he don’t. Just all over the place. Rahkeem is the worst kind of best friend. Although he seems like a nice guy he is up to some shady stuff. Maybe it’s me. I plan to read the next book. Hope it fills in the many blanks in this story. -

Omg I need more Promise so stupid I hope Kobi is not dead. She know she should have left her with her father an he should have fought harder. I can't believe Ana I really hope she hasn't killed Lace or Heiress . I can't wait for the 2nd book. I need it.

The characters were okay. The reason I gave it a three was because the story seemed typical and predictable. I'm still going to read part two and see if any curves are thrown in. Not a bad story it was just missing that extra umph for me. -

I so enjoyed this. That damn Promise gets on my freaking nerves, spoiled ass! I loved the development of Heiress and Kace's relationship. Promise so stuck on Jordan's ass, Raheim trying to help her out. I pray Kobi and Heiress are okay. Don't rightly care about Promise. Great job, awaiting Part 2. Thanks Bee for the gift -

This book had me on ten. I realize Promise is young and hurt but she is a mother first. I love Heiress, she is trying to get her self on top. But she has run into trouble although, it wasn't her fault. And needs help but Lord what did she do? A great cliffhanger -

I don't like Promise at all. She really doesn't care about her daughter at all. She will regret everything in the end. I hope Heiress and Kace is okay. I can't wait for part 2. Great Read. -

For Promise and Heiress to be twins they way of living and going about life is so different. Promise needs to mature slot especially with her having a daughter.
