This book is a delight to read. The characters are very believable. I'm chuckling because I've just realized this is sorta an Amish mail-order bride book. Enjoy! -
Amish Widow's Second Chance from Ruth Price
Is a well-written Christian novel. A widow who has had a bad marriage courageously goes through life with her 2 daughters. She works very hard in a restaurant to support her children. Her family and the bishop are pushing for a new marriage. Three brothers who have lost their parents try to keep the household going in addition to their school and work. This is very difficult for the eldest brother and raising his younger brothers is not easy either. The community urges marriage It is a beautiful story full of emotions and obstacles that must be overcome. The book is fascinating to the end. -
Good
It was a good story overall and ended on a happy note . I would have loved to see an epilogue. -
Enjoyable
Loved the story how it develops and how Mary and Isaac find each other. Diferente love story makes you warm inside. -
This was a nice light read. I liked the dry humor the characters had.

Always enjoy an Amish story. Always clean reading. They live a different life. Not for the modern spoil people. We like our convenience way of life.
