I've read "Born a Crime" and highly recommend reading it. Being South African born and bred myself, I can relate to some of his experiences, but then again being white gave me a very different perspective of life in SA. Worth reading for sure. It will have you giggling and also from time to time squirming in your chair when you read about some of his childhood experiences. Go for it!! It's time for humanity to broaden our perspective on the race issue once and for all and ask ourselves where the insanity came from to begin with even as we question ourselves whether it is worth holding onto these crazy out dated attitudes. As the old generations die out, the younger generations set new ways of being, as so it is all changing.
In with the new, out with the old. -
Loved this book. So we’ll written, honest, interesting and educational. I am even a bigger fan of Trevor Noah after reading about his childhood and his remarkable mother. This is a must read.
