  Hawaii author Paul Selig is a channeler, a man able to communicate with guides from the beyond, and in doing so provides important lessons for his readers. It has been said, ‘In a world of would-be psychics making great claims for themselves with little evidence to back them up, Paul Selig is the real thing. His books occupy a special place in the literature of channeled messages.’ Well educated – both at New York University and at Yale – Paul served on the faculty of NYU and is the former director of the MFA in Creative Writing Program at Goddard College. He experienced a spiritual experience in 1987 that rendered him a clairvoyant and his books on channeled literature are considered by many to be the zenith in the field. He maintains a practice as an intuitive in Hawaii and serves on the faculty of the Esalen Institute.
  
  THE KINGDOM is Volume 3 of the Beyond the Known trilogy and describes his channeled encounters with the Guides. The Guides offer us a way to engage the transformational process of moving beyond a limited interpretation of the self and into a place of true manifestation. As humanity stands at a crossroads, the voices of The Guides offer insight and a path forward - the pure, unedited words of The Guides. Leading us beyond the initial two volumes of learning and understanding the transformation offered, this book invites us to live in the transformed world now understood – a warmly embracing dialogue that changes us for the good.
  
  For doubters, simply read this book, and by the end of the experience your life will be enhanced. For an ‘other-worldly’ but very much ‘this-worldly’ experience, spend time absorbing the wisdom found in these pages.

  The Kingdom by Paul Selig is book #3 in a series of channeled texts called The Beyond the Known Trilogy. The first book is called Beyond the Known: Realization, and the second in the series is entitled Alchemy.
  
  The trilogy is channeled by Paul with the so called wisdom of “The Guides” he interacts with in his process. The first book offers a look at the experience that left Paul clairvoyant and able to communicate with specific intelligent spirits he calls “The Guides.” The second book goes into more of these channelings by describing the reader moving “beyond a limited interpretation of the self and into a place of true manifestation” through the insight and direction of “The Guides.” This last book in the series (the one I am reviewing here) encourages readers to dwell in the world that Paul has created through these channelings.
  
  Quite honestly, I’m not sure what the exact purpose of this book is other than to sell more books and make more money off of this author’s grift that he is clairvoyant and knows things we don’t. The book felt repetitive in ideas and wording (ie: saying “the kingdom” every page) and was overtly preachy.
  
  I didn’t learn anything more than what I already knew. It felt like going to church when I was a kid but with a preacher who thinks he hears voices. If that is your thing then this book might be your jam. It wasn’t mine.

  I have read this book thoroughly through at least 3 times and produced a podcast on it. If you're looking for transformation and understanding the process of alchemy and going up in frequency, read this series. Any one of them, any part of them. They are that good.
