His Christmas Cinderella Reviews

I have read quite a few Christmas romances this month but none of them earned more than two stars. I enjoyed this one because of the H; he was such a likeable guy.

Rich and handsome; Jordan Taylor never lacked for a woman's companionship. It was all the more reason why, when out of the blue, he briefly met Camilla Sanchez and thought there was something special about her.

The romance explored cultural diversity among other things. Jordan soon realized his shortcomings, but instead of hindering him, he learned from his lack of knowledge. It took a while for Camilla to warm up to him and realize he was serious.

There was a minor misunderstanding, but I understood why Camilla thought the way she did. All in all, a nice Christmas romance.

I loved this book so much! I loved Jordan in The Cowboy's Promise when he came through with a job for Erica. I hoped to see more of him, and this book delivered in a big way. Jordan is Bronco royalty, a member of one of the town's most prestigious families. One nickname is "The Crown Prince of Bronco Heights," while another, "He Who Will Not Be Tamed," alludes to his reputation as a ladies' man. His sister calls him a serial dater, but Jordan can't see sticking with someone who isn't right for him. All of that comes to an end the night of the family's charity ball.

Camilla is a hardworking waitress with big plans for her future. She's almost finished with her MBA and ready to move ahead with opening her own restaurant. She accompanies her employer, DJ Traub, and his wife to the charity ball intending to find investors. Though confident about her plans, she feels like a fish out of water at the grand event.

I loved the first meeting between Jordan and Camilla. As in any good Cinderella story, he spots her from across the room and is immediately intrigued. Thanks to his father's poor eyesight, Jordan thinks Camilla is someone else, but they never bother to exchange names. Instead, they spend the evening dancing and talking and enjoying each other's company. The evening comes to an abrupt end when one of the attendees (Erica) goes into labor, and Jordan takes control of the situation. Things get a little awkward when Jordan says goodbye to Camilla but calls her by the name he thought was hers. Stunned, Camilla makes her escape without setting him straight.

The next morning, Jordan wants to call her to ask for a date and is confused when he discovers that she wasn't who he thought she was. I loved seeing his determination to find her and the lengths he went to to do so. Camilla was shocked when he showed up at her workplace, and more so when she found out what he wanted. Though she also felt the connection between them, she is firmly convinced that they are too different to make a relationship work. Jordan isn't a successful businessman for nothing, and he negotiates a deal to get to know her - three weeks, six dates to make her believe.

I absolutely loved the development of the relationship between Jordan and Camilla. Jordan is a genius at coming up with dates that don't meet their criteria of a date but still allows him to spend time with her. There were Sunday dinners with her family, volunteering around the community, and the occasional real "date." It's easy to see that Jordan falls fast and hard for Camilla, but his reputation works against him. Though she enjoys their time together, Camilla is sure that he'll come to his senses soon. They manage to keep their relationship under the radar, but the reactions are brutal when they are outed. I ached for both Jordan and Camilla. He is ready to take on the world for her, but Camilla has reservations and asks for space. I hurt for Jordan, who wanted to DO something to convince her they belonged together. He got advice from multiple sources, all telling him the same thing. It was a rather eye-opening experience for him, and I loved that he learned from it. Meanwhile, Camilla has to face her fear of risking her heart. Her conversation with her dad was beautiful and gave her much to think about. I loved Jordan's big moment at the end, including his comments to his father.

The secondary characters are well done, with enough relevance to the story without taking it over. Jordan's assistant, Mac, was one of my favorites. She gives excellent advice, is a big influence on kids of all ages, and provides a fun twist at the end. I also loved Camilla's family and their noisy, exuberant love for each other. I liked how they accepted Jordan so readily, though Camilla tried to keep who he was quiet. The scene at Thanksgiving dinner was priceless. My least favorite character was Jordan's father. I don't like the way he treated Camilla and his daughter, Daphne.

There were a few mentions of the search for Beatrix and the difficulties of tracking her down. The epilogue is a terrific lead-in to the final book in the series and, hopefully, some answers.

I really enjoyed this beautiful love story. The story resembled the Cinderella story. An eligible bachelor who comes from a wealthy family and a smart woman who works as a waitress looking to open her own business. Jordan is best known for his reputation. His eyes are always on the lookout for the next girl to date. He comes from a wealthy family and is the eligible bachelor in town. Camilla is determine to make her dreams come true of opening her own business. She goes to a ball hoping to find someone to partner with her. When Jordan sees Camilla his world changes.

After the event he goes in search of her, since he was mesmerized by her. You will need to read the book to find out more. You will see that Camilla is a strong character that speaks her mind and fights for her dreams and Jordan isn't exactly what the tabloids say about him. You will be happily surprised on who Jordan really is and how charming he is. I was happy that the main character is Latina. We need more diversity in romance novels. Enjoy the romance and always keep your eyes open in search for that prince charming.

The title is misleading because the story is not set at Christmas and winter only arrive at the end, but it didn't spoil the fun for me because the MC had great chemistry.

They met at a fundraiser where Camilla went in the hope of finding potential investors for the restaurant she wants to open. A little misunderstanding about who she is and when the truth is quickly revealed and Jordan still ask for a date, our heroine worry that the wealthy rancher only wants a few weeks of fun with the "working class." Jordan wants a chance to prove he's not that kind of guy and ask her for four weeks. Go out with him at least twice a week for 1 month.

What happens when the resident bachelor, Jordan Taylor, meets Camilla Sanches is a case of mistaken identity, but he ends up completely enthralled by her. This is a story more than a Cinderella story. These two really get to know each other, but Camilla needs to let go of what she thinks is her life and let Jordan in.

This was the first book I have read by this author, Christy Jeffries. I was lucky to win this book from a book group. I obviously have not read the other books in this series, but I was able to fully understand and enjoy this book.

The plot is not a new one, where a rich person finds their true love from someone without overflowing monetary means, but the story is well written and always kept my interest, even though since it is a romance, I knew a happy ever after was at the ending, which is why I like to read romance.

    5/5 ⭐

Camilla Sanchez is a hardworking waitress with dreams of opening a restaurant. She finds herself in a borrowed ballgown trying to create relations with future investors. Jordan Taylor the cities famous batchelor spots her across the room. They share a few drinks, but when he mistakes her for another women, she believes that's the last she'll hear from the Crown Prince of Bronco Heights. He soon realizes his mistake and becomes infatuated with this stunning mystery woman. After tracking Camilla down, she wants nothing to do with the tabloid king. Determined Taylor convinces Camilla to date him for three weeks to prove he is worthy of her love.

I loved everything about this story. The family relationship and cozy feel of the small town brought the story to life. It gave much depth to this beautiful love story including a wonderful Maid In Manhattan vibe!

Jordan Taylor's rep as a player isn't something Camilla Sanchez appreciates, but when she borrows a gown her sister secured so that she can attend a special fundraiser, her intent is to find a possible investor for the restaurant she wants to start.

What Jordan sees on the dance floor is someone he doesn't know but very much wants to meet, and when she leaves early, he's insistent on finding her, even when the name she gave him isn't exactly the right one.

When he does find her, he convinces her to give him three weeks to prove that they should become a couple. Camilla's family may like him, but is she correct that Jordan's father would never approve? And if that's the case, is it even worth heartbreak to agree to keep seeing Jordan?

This sinfully decadent modern day Cinderella story has him hoping upon hope that he'll be able to locate the woman who might just have stolen his heart! With book five in the always entertaining Montana Mavericks: What Happened to Beatrix series Christy Jeffries brings us HIS CHRISTMAS CINDERELLA and I loved it! The characters were both delightful, their connection spot-on and their happily ever after brings all the feels!

Jordan is a doll. He's rich and successful and should have just about everything his heart desires, but meeting Camilla at the ball feels like a sucker punch to the gut with emotions he never expected. He's determined to find her and make her his as soon as possible!

Camilla has big dreams and the guts to put herself out there to try to achieve them. She's convinced that Jordan is only interested because she's a novelty, but she's willing to give him the time to come to his senses and see that their lifestyles don't mix ... she just never expects to enjoy the time along the way so much.

I highly recommend this book and the entire series to anyone who loves emotional stories of love, loss and happily ever afters as we try to solve the big mystery that spans the series.

Absolutely fell in love with both characters. I wouldn’t call this a Christmas book though because it starts in the fall. The last chapter or two is about a Christmas tree lighting. So not really Christmas. But this is what I needed.

This was actually a really relatable story and set of characters. It had me when he asked what she was doing the next day and she said "laundry." Girl, no doubt.
