  As I was reading through this book, the sad fact hit me that there are children in preschool now who can’t remember a time pre-COVID-19. A wide range of ages can gain something from the information, with a glossary in the back going more in-depth for elementary students. Overall, this is an excellent resource to answer questions and sooth the fears of little ones by using familiar faces. Highly recommended.

  This was a good book to read through to explain to a child what exactly the Corona virus is. My son is only a year and a half old but I was able to get an advanced readers copy of this book from netgalley.com so we still read through it together. There is even a glossary in the back to identify words that an elementary school aged child might not understand.

  I'm really into Sesame Street teaching my kid about hard but important things. This book has just the right balance of details and assurance with a focus on helpers. Would have preferred a little more for the practical section of what you can do- drawing pictures for doctors and nurses isn't as helpful as wearing a mask to preschool, etc.

  A great book explaining the Corona virus and COVID-19 pandemic to kids. It is informative and not scary and presented in the typical fantastic Sesame Street fashion.
