Taehyung kills his father. Yoongi commits suicide. Namjoon ends up in prison. Jungkook dies. Hoseok and Jimin are hospitalized. These are the fates of Seokjin’s 6 friends, unless he can go back in time and help his friends come together to fix their mistakes. Fortunately for Seokjin, he is caught in a time loop where he relives the same key moments over and over again, until he can correct the timeline. Unfortunately for Jin, this will involve a lot of opening and closing of his bedroom curtains.
While this story might appear to just be Groundhog Day meets k-pop, there is much more to it than that. It delves into themes of growing up, battling your demons, and learning to love yourself. This comic series will, hopefully, fill in the gaps of the fictional BTS Universe. (If you don’t know what that is, plan to devote the next several days of your life watching BTS’ music videos and live performances, and then you will understand.) While I don’t know exactly how this storyline will end, I do know that it is worth investing your time into reading this comic. As silly as it sounds, this is so much more than just a web comic from a k-pop boyband. Read it. -

This is my personal favorite installment of all the BTS Graphic Lyric series! Instantly, from the very first page, you can tell that this story is going to take a much darker turn. While the lines of what is real and what is fake are blurring for all the members throughout, with the help of beautiful opaque papers on certain pages to really heighten the storytelling.
This installment very much focuses on Hobi and Jimin and the abandonment both of them have felt. Both are trying to be brave, make the best of the situation they are in, but they desperately want to be saved and not alone. Yet together, in the hospital, they are able to carve out their own little corner of happiness because of dance and because of each other.
TL;DR: The BigHit carousel(s) will forever haunt me.

It cannot end like that. Is there another series? 'I'm Fine' maybe? Please. Come on Bighit, you can't finish it like that! I need to know what happens! Does Jin break the time line? Does he save everyone? WHAT HAPPENS TO MY BABY BOYS?!
Actual review (kind of):
This was a BTS webtoon. Of course I liked it. It had time travel, a broken BTS, plot twists, cliffhangers and the 7 most important guys in my life (except for family). How could I not like it?
Kim Seokjin - our precious worldwide handsome Jin - finds himself waking up on the 11th of April at 10am everyday, and finds out that his mission is to bring back together his brothers (BTS) and save all the members from terrible fates. However, something always goes wrong and he finds the day constantly repeating. Can he save everyone?
Well actually we don't know if he can. Because Bighit ENDS THE WEBTOON BEFORE WE FIND OUT. CLIFFHANGER MUCH? Anyway, this was interesting and captivating and my only issue was that the names of the characters were switched around, eg. Seokjin Kim. I mean I know this was made for English audiences, but if you're ARMY or stan anything Korean then you'll know that the last name goes first in Korean culture. It's Kim Namjoon, Kim Seokjin, eg. Other than that, this was perfect. -

Save Me is a serialized graphic novel, available to read for free on
Webtoon, that chronicles the events of the Bangtan Universe. Those of you who aren’t BTS trash like myself may be unfamiliar with the BU, but it’s basically an alternate universe in which the seven members of BTS aren’t K-pop idols but rather regular guys who meet during their school years. The Bangtan Universe began in BTS’ music videos and The Notes inside their albums, and has now extended into a web comic.
The seven boys – Seokjin, Yoongi, Namjoon, Hoseok, Jimin, Taehyung, and Jungkook – meet at school and become best friends, using an abandoned storage room as a place to hang out and find solace from their respective problems. A series of events causes them to drift apart, ultimately leading to the current day when certain members are ill, in jail, and even dead. At the beginning of Save Me, Seokjin returns to Korea after spending two years in America, and is shocked to discover what has happened to the other boys. Desperately wishing things had gone differently, Seokjin is given an opportunity – he can go back in time to try and save them.
“This is the world you have to live in, and the fate you must go through. You won’t make it out here alone in this entangled destiny.”
Seokjin wakes up on April 11, and every time he fails to save one of the boys, the clock resets to that day. As Seokjin grows increasingly desperate to save his friends and prevent even worse outcomes, the butterfly effect from his actions causes unexpected consequences. Just when you think Seokjin can’t possibly break the cycle, a piece of the puzzle changes completely, setting up an exciting and new dynamic for the next installment (which will hopefully be soon!).
Quite simply, Save Me put me so deep in my feelings that there were moments where I was on the verge of tears while reading. Each of the seven main characters has their own intricate and nuanced backstories, which are revealed in small glimpses each time Seokjin tries to save them. I was amazed at the emotional depth of this story even though it’s restricted to a very set time loop – Jin never gets very far past April 11, poor thing. There are many flashbacks to their earlier years, and it’s amazing to see how certain scenes are directly connected to BTS videos from 2015 to now.
“There was a time when the seven of us were happy together, knowing we had each other. Where did it all go wrong? Everyone ended up miserable. Were any of us ever happy after we split up? Back then, just being with each other was enough to make us happy. But why…what happened to us?”
Ultimately, Save Me (and the entire BU) is a testament to the strength of friendship, and the way that friends become something even more intimate and important than family. The boys in this story go through so many hardships, and it’s only when they’re together that they have the strength and support to overcome them. I think this will be a major factor in how the story progresses in the next installments, because Seokjin spent this entire first installment trying to save everyone by himself. But maybe Seokjin also needs to be saved? * cut to my murder board filled with theories and red connection strings *
You certainly don’t need to be a BTS fan to enjoy Save Me, and I think the beautiful art style and intricate storytelling will appeal to so many readers. It’s definitely something I see myself rereading again, and I’ve got my fingers crossed it isn’t long wait for part two.

While reading this book, I have felt so many different emotions. It was extremely relatable and that is what a good story should be. It should be relatble and have some sort of moral or life lesson that you can link back to your life. I am an Army which is hy I might be a bit biased by giving this book a five star but nonetheless this webtoon definitely deserves it. This webtoon is about seven friends who are constantly struggling with their lives. One friend has to save all the others from their deaths. Each character has a different story and each character is very unique. The charcters are all based on Bts which is why the actions are quite similar. I love how Bighit Entertainment put this story together and I'm really really hoping to see more of this webtoon. This story does continue through Bts Notes part One and Two which can be found in the weverse shop. However, if you want to be cheap like me you can find a transalated file from google.

This book brings me to many different emotions. Ya that’s what I thought. But now in Webtoon V doesn’t seem to know what him having those dreams means. Still, he has a bigger role and I can’t wait to see what will happen next. Especially about Jin x V thing, whether they won’t disagree on the solution to all of this mess.
Well, it’s great for ARMY’s who are looking to understand the BTS universe further. If you’re not a fan of webtoons and not a fan of Bangtan Universe, I can only say that you’re missing out on the best of both worlds. -

"No matter how many times I tried, I could never save all of them on my own."
I have no words to describe this masterpiece other than it's SO GOOD! This Webtoon gave justice to their song Save Me in so many ways. It's very dark, disturbing and emotional at times. Also, be aware of suicide and physical harassment going into this comic because it plays a huge role in the story.
I adored this so much. Though I wished it was longer. I demand a Part 2 (maybe "I'm Fine"?) after that ending!! It's just so painful and open! -

The Bangtan Universe really said "I'm gonna give you pain and I'm gonna make you suffer" and I'm not okay with that.
If you're a fan of the boys you already know what you're getting into by reading this, it's just pure pain, over and over again since it's also a time loop. But still, it was nice to read this webcomic and see how everything is connected to all the other BTS content and music. -

I loved it so so much. I have been broken and repaired and then shattered again.
The ending was totally unexpected and yet beautiful.
While reading I had images of mv's that popped into my mind and this made the whole thing even more emotional.

This Bangtan Universe is everything. The storylines are so well thought out and developed and let's not talk about the drawings. They are perfect.
Now I feel like reading it again and pay attention to every detail.
I fell into this bangtan hole last summer and I'm in too deep friends. Don't even try to get me out of here because they are my happy pill.
Anyway. I won't even try to review it because I won't be able to.
Just expect tears and emotions and get ready to be plunged into the Bangtan Universe.

Okay, ILLEGAL CLIFFHANGER ALERT.
I legit cried at least three times. It was BEAUTIFUL. I can never completely understand this storyline, I honestly feel like I need a doctoral degree to be in this fandom, but the art style is STUNNING and the story is very beautiful and haunting.

I rewatched some of the storyline videos and reread the last episode of this and I feel like crying my heart out. I feel so sad. They cannot just leave me hanging like this.

It’s ongoing but I am and will continue to be absolutely whipped. The plot of the Notes has been out of reach for so long, it’s almost too much to finally get concrete answers.
The only thing that could be improved is more variation in drawings between the boys. C’mon we’ve all seen the Louvre quality fan art out there. -

Honestamente no sé qué tanto me gustó porque me gusta BTS y todo el tema de sus videos o por la historia en sí, sobre todo teniendo en cuenta de que no termina y es solo como el inicio de todo. No sé cómo funciona para alguien que no sabe de la historia de BTS y no los conoce.
La historia es una mezcla del día de la marmota y destino final, Jin vuelve después de dos años y se da cuenta de que sus amigos todos están mal (muertos, presos, internados, etc) y en medio de su desesperación desea volver en el tiempo para salvarlos. Por desgracia, cada vez que uno muere el bucle parte de nuevo, esto lleva a que Jin vaya en una carrera contra reloj para salvarlos a todos.
Es una historia bastante cruda y cruel, pues cada personaje tiene sus problemas y no solo son externos, sino que lidian con temas como depresión. Esto lleva a que sea muy difícil para Jin el ir salvándolos, porque la salvación no solo es algo físico sino que también mental. Y es de lo que se va dando cuenta a lo largo de la historia.
Al final es una historia bonita sobre la amistad y sobre como necesitamos a otras personas, no todo es algo que podamos luchar por nuestra cuenta. -
