Sweet little George doesn’t trust his Daddy.

After little George was forced to sell his childhood horse to a stranger, he’s sworn to never trust men again. He just wants to play with his animals and pay rent for his dingy studio in Bozeman. He sure as hell doesn’t want a Daddy… or so he thinks.

Daddy Luke doesn’t believe in love.

Luke Ashwood has loved boys his entire life. But when he walked in on his last little in bed with another daddy, he swore off boys forever. He turned to his horse-rearing business and focused on raising prized mares. But when he bumps into a cute boy outside an animal feed store, he wonders if he’s been doing it all wrong.

Goofy George is the third book in Laurie Loch’s Neverland Hills series. It follows 21-year-old George and his daddy Luke as they help George overcome an obstacle in his past and learn to ride a horse. Guaranteed HEA.

This story can be read as a COMPLETE standalone.

This is a continuation of the Neverland Hills series. In this story, the reader is introduced to George, a young man who was forced to sell his horse and move away after the sudden death of his father when he was 15. All grown up, George returns to town of his childhood looking for work, preferably with horses. As luck would have it, George meets Luke, a man with a horse. Luke offers him a ride to Neverland Ranch where George hopes to find work. However, the ranch soon opens George’s eyes to a world he never knew existed while Luke’s memories rush back to him. Extending their stay at the ranch, can George and Luke overcome obstacles from their past and build a future together learning about what the other desires?

This is a sweet story that is a short read. While the story is written as a standalone, I felt a brief explanation of the ranch and its occupants might have helped readers who have not read other books in the series.

    Great addition to the series!

I loved reading this book. I liked George and his Daddy Luke. They meet at a feed store in town where George was looking for a job and overheard Luke talking to Brent on the phone, asking for directions to Neverland Hills, so he could drop off the horse they had bought from him. George tagged along to see if they needed any help and they both ended up staying. I would have liked a little more info about what happened to Luke's place and the other horses he had. George had just moved back to town so he didn't have any ties to anything that would keep him from living at Neverland. The book needed another round of proofing as there were some wrong words used and a wrong name used. I liked this book a lot more than the second one. I read this book using the Kindle Unlimited program.

    Finding himself

This book is about George who meets Luke while applying for jobs and he accompanies him to drop off his horse. They end up at Neverland where George can learn what he really likes.

I wanted to like this book but the conversation between the characters didn't sound fully authentic so it made it hard to get into. I liked that Luke and George took it slow and developed that trust between them.

A sweet third episode in Neverland Hills series. This is the lovely story of George and Luke, with an interesting twist on the Daddy helping the Boy. It's a gorgeous addition. My only criticism is it felt a bit rushed. I'd like a little more story and a more rounded ending.

Nope. I’m sorry. I don’t know what everyone else was reading but this one hurt to read.

Typos. Phrasing. Pacing. It wasn’t horrible but don’t skip the copyeditor.

+1 🌽 for the playroom diaper scene. What EVEN was that? But I enjoyed it lol
