A sweet, sunny picture book about a confident child who faces a daunting situation. It's Clara's first day in a new school and her classmates --- at the first sign of weakness -- are ready to take her down. But Clara shows no weakness. She manages to stay confident and true to herself She masters the classwork with determination and hard work and sails through with flying colors -- easy peasy. This picture book is quite inspirational. And the illustrations are perfect.

Loved this book
This beautifully illustrated children's book is filled with the message of tenacity. The young girl had always excelled at school until she got in French class. The new language took her a little longer to read but she never gave up. Great message for young readers. -

A cute book about a little girl who is an overachiever. It's for those who goes above and beyond on their assignment. My daughter can relate as she tends to do more than expected. ☺️ -
Could be better
I liked the book and it had a good storyline but i think it would have been better if it was developed more. The moral of the story should be to try your best and not try until you get first place in everything. Coming first isn't what's important. -
