A SEAL for Elise: Special Forces Operation Alpha: Fighting for Home Book 3 is by Julia Bright. This is a really good book and it is easy to read and short enough to read it quickly.
Elise is running late to not miss her plane. Unfortunately, she had a short time between flights to make it across the terminal. Hopefully she would make it to get home in time to pick her son up at his Dad’s house without being late. Sebastian had done everything possible to make her life miserable since the divorce. He knew he could hurt her through Max so he did what he could to make it seem she is an unfit mother so he could get custody. As she hurried to her plane, her phone rang and it was Max. He was wanting to know when she would be home as his Dad was starting to drink. She promised him she was on her way and would be there soon. Just as she said this, she ran into a big man. She dropped her purse and things fell out. The man helped her gather her things as she apologized to him and hurried off. She made the flight. The man picked up her license that had dropped and hurried to try to catch her. He slowed down when he realized she was on his flight. Fate intervened and he was sitting next to her. Later, after a nap, he gave the license back to her to her relief. For some reason, she felt safe in telling him her story and why she had to get to Max. The man, Dion, listened with growing anger. He was a Navy SEAL and didn’t abide men who hit women or children. By the time they landed, she had his promise to help her if he could.
When Elise realizes she needs a friend, Dion is willing to step in to be that friend. He knows what being a single parent entails as he has a young daughter. When Sebastian shoots at Elise’s car when she picks up Max, Dion just happens to call her and comes to her aide. It isn’t the police or even Sebastian who is the problem now, it is the lady from Child Services who tries to blame the whole thing on Elise.
Can Dion help Elise with her problems without compromising her? Is Elise ready to find romance with her savior? What would Sebastian do when he gets out of jail? How can she help Max deal with the change he sees in his Father? The suspense grows as the story continues.

Another great book. You have plenty of danger, abuse may cause triggers for some, heat and new beginnings. I was glad to read a story for Dion. He and ella (his daughter) have had a hard time in the beginning, but with his strong support system they were doing well. Elise was in a abusive relationship before she and her son Max got out. But he won't leave her alone. Dion met her in the airport when she got a call from her son. An excellent story with a HEA.

    Dion & Elise

This book grabbed me from the first few pages to the end. Another great book in Julia Bright’s, Fighting for Home series. This story dealt with an ex spouse who was making Julia’s and her son, Max’s life miserable. There was enough happier times while Dion, Julia, Ella and Max becoming a family that made the story not completely dark and scary. Hope there will be more books in this series.

    Good read

Elise literally ran into Dion as she was talking on the phone with her son. Then they sat next to each other on the plane. She explained she was talking to Max and that he needed her to come get him. Her ex had hit him. She got to Max, but the ex came out with a gun and shot out her tire. She took Max to the hospital and when Dion found out where she was he joined them.
