A Dom, a pup, and a little walk into a club… what could go wrong?

Trent has spent the better part of his life in love with his best friend, Logan. When their short-lived romance falls apart, he knows it’s for the best. He’s a Dom and needs more control than Logan can give him.

Logan knows Trent needs more than an excitable pup not looking for a Master. But the heart knows what it wants, and Logan’s heart wants Trent. Except, he’s also falling for a sweet little he met at the club.

Overworked, with too much to do and too little time to do it, Aiden is looking for a Daddy to hand control over to. But when he meets Logan, he finds the next best thing—a friend, a protector, and unexpected feelings.

A mishap at the club brings their worlds together, and Aiden can’t shake the feeling that Trent would be the perfect Daddy for him… except Trent’s in love with Logan.

With bond between pup and boy too great to be broken, can the three find a way to make a relationship work? Or will stubbornness and insecurities derail any chance of their finding happiness together?

This 112k word MMM romance is about two men hopelessly in love with one another and a sweet little who shows them that love isn't always between two people. Undisclosed Curiosity contains puppy play, age play, and ABDL.

    I read this a couple of weeks ago and forgot to review it. And now I can't really remember every single detail. I'll just keep it short then.

    I really liked the first half when Logan and Trent were pining for each other and Logan was also falling for Aiden. And when Trent also started to feel things for Aiden I was a happy camper.

    I did find myself a bit bored once these three finally figured out they could all be together.

    It was still a very nice read.

  • Janet (iamltr)

    I reread this entire book in one day. I love it so much even more now and I no longer feel like Aiden was a side character. I would love this in audio.

    I did realize that the Dom and the puppy were total dingdongs.

    So adorable...

    I'm a sucker for a Daddy for you trope and this one was so cute. The threesome worked well sexually and I totally bought Logan being a puppy. My only niggle was the little. Aiden kind of was a side character who just happened to be little.

  • Carol

    Trent is a sheriff and a total Dom with "Daddy" tendencies, though he has never acted on them and isn't sure he wants to or even if he can. It certainly won't be with Trent...who is a cute, playful "puppy"... if he was even to decide to. This almost breaks his heart. He and Trent have been best friends and partners at work for years...and they are also sometimes "hook ups" for one another.... but their needs are too different to work in the long run. I could really feel for Trent and Logan, and they didn't ask me...silly men...but I knew exactly how they could make their relationship work long before either of them did, even after "little" Aiden entered their lives. They had been torturing themselves for years. They love each other and have been besties since high school...but as a lasting couple, they just won't work, no matter how much they wish it would. They live together and they know that they want to stay together but something is missing, and they are beginning to mourn their love for one another and are starting to believe that one of them has to leave. Then adorable "little" Aiden enters their lives. Logan has been Aiden's friend and protector for a long time... but when Logan needs a protector Trent is there to take care of them both. Open your eyes guys! It takes a bit before Trent gets with the program but once he does, he grabs hold and doesn’t let go. These three men are so great together and I did so enjoy watching their all-consuming love for two to turn into love for three. Of those three, I absolutely loved Logan. He was so ready to let Trent go in order for him be happy even though it would have destroyed him. That was absolute, unconditional love and I was entirely in. It was a kind of torture waiting for the three characters to get to the point of understanding what a poly relationship was and that it absolutely could and would work for them. From that point on everything was simply amazing. They should have asked me to begin with:) Oh...and you will not want to miss the birthday cake fiasco between Trent and Aiden.

    I think I still have the same feelings on this one. Although maybe it was a little better this time around, but only slightly...
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    I think I'm going to have an unpopular viewpoint, but I didn't really care for this one. Aiden didn't fit the story for me. I would've much preferred this to be just Logan and Trent. I can't really put my finger on it, but the story felt disconnected where Aiden was concerned. At one point I think he talked about being jealous or was that what he was feeling and I literally laughed out loud. It felt so ridiculous that he would even say that.
    I'm still going to continue with the series, but this one didn't work for me.
    I do quite enjoy this one. I love the three MCs and the multi POV.
    Queer rep: gay MC, gay MC, bisexual MC, poly relationship
    Kink: ABDL, puppy play, age play, impact play, daddy/boy/pup, d/s for daddy and boy.
    Original review
    Loved this one so so much. The poly rep, the bi rep, the kink rep was all just so good.
  • Barb ~rede-2-read~
    Somehow I missed this book in the series and read one and three first. I'm so glad I came back to it though because, so far, it's the best in the series. Daddy kink, puppy kink, and a Dom who doesn't think he'll make a good daddy until he does.
    Slow burn, sweet characters who are also remarkably strong, an interesting story, and plenty of visits from others in the series all make this a very nice way to spend a few days reading. This is fairly long so will need more than a day or two to digest, but it's well worth it.
    I'm looking forward to book four, which I believe releases today and will feature Larsen, the sweet, cuddly, tall, muscular firefighter whose good friends are all littles.
    Every boy needs a puppy, right?
    I enjoy Carly's books. Seriously. And I've been waiting for this story. It was good. Really good. Well written and the plot made sense.
    When Logan and Trent were not able to make a relationship work, I was leaking actual tears for their pain. In the story, Aiden makes perfect sense. I even like the kid.
    Ok, real talk now. I adore Daddy/Boy stories of all kinds. Seriously, LOVE THEM. But this time it seemed a little forced. Did I genuinely think Trent was into Aiden? No, not at first. And for that matter, I didn't even feel like Logan did either. I DID genuinely feel like they loved each other. I'm not sure if I'm projecting my own feelings, but it kinda seemed like Aiden was kinda used, so they could work things out and stay together. I mean, no hardship to have a sweet cute extra guy in your bed. But I didn't feel it like I think was expected to. Ironically, it almost felt like Trent then abandoned Logan to focus all his control on Aiden. For Logan, Aiden felt like a friend, maybe f*ck buddy and Trent was his true love. In the beginning, I definitely felt that Trent saw Logan the same way. Once Aiden became more involved, Trent seemed to only focus on Aiden and complain about Logan.
    I don't know if I'm explaining it in a way that makes sense, but it just wasn't what I was hoping for. Still enjoyed it and will continue to read the series for sure.
    My recommendation: Read up until roughly 55% through, which is where they get together. Everything after this point is zero-tension, zero-suspense sex.
    I enjoyed the first half of the book--very much so, actually. But the tension is removed entirely once they get together as M/M/M, because they all (essentially) say, in the text, "I have no doubts, I feel reassured, I am happy now." If Marie had just omitted this or substituted it with "I am still unsure," I probably would've read the entire thing in one sitting, all 370+ pages of it.
    As it is, you could stop reading at page 244/end of chapter 25 and enjoy it significantly more.
    I wish that Marie had kept the tension or ended it sooner. Because I enjoyed the first 244 pages so much, I'll probably pick up another book of hers, but if it has the same issue (killing tension, refusing to follow normal romance structure and not substituting it with other plot), I probably won't read her works again.
    Dom Trent, Little Aiden and Puppy Logan.
    I loved watching Logan/Curious play with Aiden.
    Sweet, romantic, caring, selfless men, wanting the happiness of the others, even if it's at their own expense.
    The connection Trent and Logan have is deep and special. You can feel their love through the pages. As you can feel their deepening/growing connection to Aiden.
    This is sweet, sexy, fun and funny story of a Dom, a pup and a little finding their hea with each other.
    Loved it!
  • Terri
    This is my new favorite book by this author.
    Logan, Trent, and Aiden are each great characters. They are responsible, hard working, funny, friendly, and kinky. I love them all, separately and together. Aiden is cute and funny as a little, and he makes me smile a lot. Logan isn't a sub or a dom, but he is a hyper and adorable pup. I think he's a great example of how a particular kink can really help someone deal with the stress of life, or sometime just an overabundance of energy. And Trent is a fantastic daddy and handler, though he has some very endearing doubts about himself.
    The beginning of the book has the pain of Trent and Logan loving each other so much but knowing that they can't give each other all that they need to be happy. I want to hug them both during several interactions. But sweet Aiden turns out to be just what the other men need to make their relationship complete. I love how Aiden brings so much to the table for Logan, and then later, for Trent as well. I love how Logan is a different pup for Aiden than he is for anyone else. And I love how Trent works so hard to be a good daddy, while also giving Logan the attention and sometimes space that he needs. These men love each other in the best possible ways.
    While there are a few sad moments early on, there is also a lot of laughter here. Whether it is between the loving threesome alone, or includes their friends, the humor is terrific. And the sexy times are intense, caring, and hot.
    I enjoy books by this author, who just keeps getting better. Great characters in a fun and sexy romance. I put this one on my rereads list before I even reached the end.
    A Dom, a puppy and a little? Hell yes, this is like all my favorites in one place! And written by Carly Marie? Awesome book guaranteed.
    Logan and Trent's relationship was really good, I loved that they were in love but still struggled with life because they weren't a perfect match in the lifestyle - Logan needed a sub while Trent wasn't one. And here comes Aiden, the cutest little who is in a need of a Daddy dom and a puppy too.
    Aiden and Trent's friendship was really awesome, loved how they played with each other in the club and later at home too. And the fact that Trent was Aiden's guard dog, just awwww, super sweet.
    Logan was a whole other case - he was a dom but couldn't see that he can be and he IS a Daddy dom. It was really a long way for Logan to see that fact, and I wanted to scream in frustration.
    The book was long, but the characters really needed that time to figure everything out. And while I enjoyed reading it, there were times when I was a bit bored - thanks to Logan and his stubborness.
    I wanted the romance and erotica much sooner, and I thought I'll se some Logan and Trent times too. And Aiden Logan alone times too. But when they figured their things out, that was only everything or nothing at all.
    Loved how brat Trent was because he was just a puppy and not Logan's sub. And Aiden was really cute little, and I loved their puppy/little times so much.
    The birthday baking was my favorite.
    I enjoyed the book, but it wasn't perfect for me as much as I wanted it to be. And please, more dom/puppy/little books, I love when a Little has a puppy to cuddle♥ just so cute!
    Trent, Logan, and Aiden
    A pup needs a Master, a little a Daddy, both are found in one man who only needs to open his eyes and mind to the possibility.
    Nicely done. Good segue from book 1 to book 2. Great main characters and fun side characters. I like that we get to know more about the circle of friends introduced in book 1.
    KU, contemporary, book in series, ABDL, age play, age gap, puppy play, Daddy kink, profession photographer, police officer, spanking, friends to lovers
    Read with an open mind
    Although I don't understand certain kinks this book the characters and their love and commitment for each other are what makes this book worth reading.
    I imagine it's also difficult for authors to write a book where the characters are involved in a triad relationship. Carly does a great job bringing Trent , Logan and Aiden together in a loving relationship.
  • Shannon
    Watching Logan and Trent torture themselves in this book was a painful thing to witness. They were almost perfect for each other. Enter Aiden, the compliment to both of them making the perfect triad. This book was smoking hot and super sweet. Not too kinky, not too angsty, just the perfect blend of all things sexy!! Loving this series.
  • Ali
    Poor Trent and Logan, they have been torturing themselves for years because they can’t meet each other’s needs. Though they have stayed best friends and still hook up sometimes they both feel that something is missing in their lives and mourn their love for one another.
    Aiden is so adorable and Logan has been his protector for a long time but when Logan needs a protector Trent is there to take care of them both. It takes a bit before Trent can get with the program but once he does he grabs hold and doesn’t let go. These men are so great together and I enjoyed watching their all-consuming love for one another.
    I received a copy of this book and am giving an honest review.
  • Ashley D
    Logan and Trent have been best friends forever, but they want different things and know their relationship will not work. Trent pushes Logan to go to DASH and find someone. Logan finds Aiden, and there is an attraction between them, but again, Logan knows he can't be what Aiden needs, so he pushes Aiden towards Trent.
    Logan, Trent, and Aiden are adorable together. While it takes them a long time to get their act together and realize that they are better together, they are smoking hot once they do.
  • Smut Librarian
    I loved this sweet story and Carly tells the trio dynamic so brilliantly! I adore the way all three men balance each other and the tale weaves a magic to show their love and connection coming together perfectly. An adorable read.
  • Nese's reads
    This story has left me feeling all warm and happy , l'm still smiling at the turn of events in this book.
    Trent is such an alpha, of course being the Sheriff brings with it a whole array of needs and necessities. Trent needs to be in control of everything, all of the time, and this includes the man in his bed. He has been in love with his best friend Logan for a long time , however Logan is not a fan of being controlled.
    Trent loves Logan so much, but he needs more...
    Logan is an all round popular guy that likes to enjoy life to the full, he is always full of energy and bounces around the station all the time. Being the deputy Sheriff brings lots of stress and danger too, so when Logan needs to unwind his outlet is puppy play. Trent enjoys puppy Logan, but he is a handful, Logan loves Trent, but he feels sad that they both need more to stay in their relationship.
    And then there's Aiden, a cute young man that loves being a photographer, but hates that he is lacking confidence. What Aiden really wants is to not have to make so many decisions, he just wants his toy hedgehog, his blanky and his binkie. He craves full submission, and a Daddy to care for him and love him.
    Trent and Logan have such conflicting emotions , loving someone enough to let them go cause you're not enough is the toughest thing. So reluctantly each go to Dash, the BDSM club to indulge their kinks, and maybe meet someone new.
    Curious the puppy (Logan) meets Aiden the little while playing and instantly a firm friendship is formed. Then Trent accidentally meets Aiden and cue more confusing emotions all round.
    Can a Dom, a puppy and a little together find what each other is searching for?
    Can they bring out their cravings for control, care, love, submission and belonging in each other?
    Carly Marie has brought such diverse characters with a variety of needs together , there was enough angst to keep my heart happy and so much sexual energy to keep me hot. I think the addition of puppy play has elevated this Daddy/little story to another level of cuteness. It took a while for everything to gel but when it did l loved it more.
  • Paige (TheBookVulture)
    Really cute and sweet. I've never read puppy play before, but I really enjoyed it and I'll definitely be reading more of it. I'm probably never going to enjoy reading ABDL, but even so, Aiden is an adorable little. Trent fell into the role of Daddy very fast (given he'd never been a Daddy or considered becoming one before), but he's sweet and dominant so it wasn't too unbelievable that he fell into his role so quick. Curious was such a sweetheart and easily my favourite part of the book.
    Just a couple frustrations below but I'll add spoiler tags:
  • Mandy
    Trent has spent most of his life in love with his best friend Logan but they are not compatible as Trent is a Dom and needs control which Logan can't give him as he is not a submissive but an excitable pup who is not looking for a master. But Logan is starting to fall for a sweet little he met at the club. Aiden is overworked and has too much to do with not enough time to do it. He needs a Daddy to hand control over to but in Logan, he has found a friend and protector who created unexpected feelings. A problem at the club brings the three men together and Aiden can see that Trent would be the perfect Daddy for him except that he is clearly in love with Logan. With the cond between the pup and the little that is too great to break can the three find a way to make a relationship work between them?
    I enjoyed this story with Trent and Logan in love with each other but incompatible in most ways but physically and the little with his puppy who will care for and guard him no matter what. It was sweet to see how the three men worked to come together and how it was perfect for them to be together. This was definitely a lesson in love and how it can take many forms. This was easy to read, feel and understand. This is an MMM story with BSDM-like DDLB with diapers and puppy play.
    3,5*
    PLEASE READ MY RATING SYSTEM!!!
    To my ratings:
    A 3,5* is clicked with a 4* but in review marked as 3,5*:
    5* - very very good and rare (it would be a Blow-Away-book like ‘Jesse's Smile’ or ‘Joey’ from Angelique Jurd, ‘Save the the kids’ series
    from EM Leya, ‘Love’s Tethered Heart’ from C.L. Etta or ‘Liberty’ from Seth King),
    it's like an A+
    4* - very good and will be often reread and is a WOW-book with interesting plot and surprises (like most of Andrew Grey books and Davidson Kings 'Haven Hart'-series)
    it's like an A
    3,5* - a really good book, which will be reread a few times (most romances where you can enjoy for relaxing and during waiting times in
    hospitals). I can recommend them definitively!
    It's like an B+
    3* - it could be more then a one-time-reader (2-3 times a year),
    it's like a B
    2* - it was ok to read, but it's more a one-time-reader (I wouldn't recommend it heartily, but it was ok)
    It's like a C-, D
    1* - sorry, but that isn't really a book for me (too many mistakes, not nice plot, illogical, so an absolute NO-GO). It's like failure in the
    whole line, dismissed, repeat the class
  • Barbara
    I really wanted to like this and I thought I realld would actually, after reading the semi-prologue at the end of Untamed... so I HUNTED IT DOWN
    Then it started... and I didn't like it.
    This is partly my fault because somewhere between Untamed and Curiosity, Trent and Logan apparently already happened and they agreed it couldn't work... seeing as I only read Untamed then Curiosity, I wasn't privy to the memo, until I woke up in the midst of a potential love-triangle that I wasn't feeling... 😒😒😒
    Should I have read the blurb? Yes
    Would it have changed my feelings? Probably not.
    Aiden felt "added to a duo"... like a band-aid. I liked him enough... I just don't know if I liked him for this menagé...
    I feel like I'd have liked him best with a different menagé that didn't already have an established duo for in some way... this felt like bad patch work to me.
    Also... LET'S TALK ABOUT THAT EPILOGUE which threw me off... btw... because it's an almost carbon-copy to the intro I read that lead me to hunting down Logan and Trent's story with the exception that now it's introducing James and Dexter, and Aiden's in the mix... I found myself scheming the epilogue wondering why she'd put their beginning at the end, unless it's to show "full-circle", but neither Trent nor Logan acted like it was a deja vu moment, or even like something was a little off despite Colt and Derek having the EXACT. Same. Conversation. about pie and ice cream, like they hadn't been through this before 😒😒... maybe this is her signature for books?🤔
    how she ends all of them?
    Idk because this is only my second book.
    ⭐⭐ stars because... I got Logan and Trent, but ... I'd have liked them better as a duo! 🤷🏾‍♀️
  • Liz
    Good book.
    Good writing.
    Good story.
    I'm not a fan of stories with a relationship with 3, because it always leaves something to be desired in the development and description of each character, I like it when all the characters have the same weight in the story, regardless of their life story. But I liked this one. Yes, there was a character with more prominence than the other, but it wasn't so blatant.
    This was a low anguish story, focusing on the relationship of two existing characters in the series and the arrival of the third that complemented the relationship, making it work. It was frustrating to read the emergence of this relationship at certain times, but it was also fun, sensual, exciting, sweet and light.
    As with the previous book, I didn't like the excessive and long interior monologues. It could focus on dialogue between characters, as many of the internal discussions were always when two or more characters were together.
    One thing that left me confused was the chronological order, at one point the character mentioned that something would happen at a certain time, later it was described that weeks had passed, but the event that would happen, had not happened. Or, they described the relationship time at a certain time, but later it was described as less. Confused.
    Let's go to the next one.
  • Brittany
    i knew this series was only going to get better.
    the deep emotions that came with reading this book was absolutely enthralling.
    the hopelessness from Logan feeling like he is never what anyone needs...
    from trent almost hating himself for not being able to give logan what he needs, or feeling like he would never be a good daddy for aiden.
    and aiden feeling like a placeholder for both of them until they can pull their heads out of their asses and realize just how much they love one another.
    and spending half of the book knowing that they all three belong together and them just being too stubborn to see it.
    oh that slow burn nearly killed me.
    so worth it in the end though...
    cannot wait to see who the next book will be about!
    i'm hoping Larson, but i have a feeling it will be dexter and his new hot neighbor James!
  • Sandra
    Good but
    This 2nd book was good but because I left a gap between the first book to this one, I forgot the players and felt like I couldn't remember anyone but I didn't want to go back and reread book 1. Usually if there's a gap I can easily recall the previous book but not this time. I liked the dynamic between Logan and Trent but it felt like it took forever for each of them to realize that they each were needing Aiden to complete their triad. I didn't quite understand how Logan wasn't at least a little submissive as a pup if he claimed to want a handler. Wouldn't you then need someone to take care of you and by default be somewhat submissive? I'm sure it's just me not understanding how it all works. Regardless, I enjoyed the book but preferred book 1. I still recommend this series and will be reading book 3.
