When all doors are closed before you...

Any was raised by her cruel drunk of a father, and married off young to his drinking buddy. Now she is a penniless widow faced only with despair. Garth was a strong handsome miner with the prettiest girl in town on his arm. Now his arm is gone, and so is the pretty girl. Alone and in pain, his life ahead seems hopeless and impossible. Maybe it is time to open a window.
