Mosquito Point Road: Monroe County Murder \u0026 Mayhem Reviews

History of Rochester
I have lived in Rochester since I was seven years old and never heard of any of these stories. I have been a true crime buff since I was a teenager so I am surprised that these escaped me. I enjoyed the author's writing style which provides just the right amount of information to give his readers a complete picture. Looking forward to more. -
Engaging read
I can relate to curiosity about local crimes and enjoyed this author’s review of local cases. The six stores in one book format worked well. Makes me think about a crime I knew of as a kid and sparks a similar curiosity! -
Michael Benson's style is easy to read, while he captures the essence of notorious killers, many of whom are familiar names to us in the Rochester NY area. Great investigative reporting and interesting photos.

Six cases from the Rochester area where author Michael Benson grew up. Actually, one of the crimes took place in Olathe, Kansas; a murder detailed in
A COLD-BLOODED BUSINESS by Marek Fuchs. The victim was a boyhood acquaintance of the author.
