The old adage, ( why change a good thing if it’s working for you) was proven wrong to me, at least in the second edition of Blessed are the Meek by Amos Wyse.
I still say you will need to pull up your comfortable chair and settle in for what I believe is the best Amish Fiction Book I’ve read it’s just far lack of a better word, fine-tuned. The story line has it all and at this time in our life with everything that is going on in our world it makes you wonder if we are coming to thIs reality of what the Author has spun in this wonderful tale. Was God’s plan and the life the Amish live how we should be living our life? Just when you need a break from the coldness on the pages of war and bleakness so wonderfully crafted by this Author, he gives you a heartfelt love story that pulls you in and has you So hoping everything will work out just as God intends not only for the couple but everyone within the town of Prosperity. I am so looking forward to book 2 in the series, I really hope you all take the journey and read this wonderful book. I wish I could give it a higher rating. -

Good read
First time reading a book by Amos Wyse. I look forward to others.
Blessed are the Meek is not a typical Amish book. . This is a real life portrayal of what can happen in our current dark world.
Mr Wyse created a story where we are hit by an EMP
Attack. Nothing works anything electrical is gone and we all are forced to survive or perish. Blessed are the Meek sums up this book.
The Amish in the town of Prosperity all approach this problem together and united. “We work best when we work together.” I believe this is the way God wants all of us to be. The story does contrast the different ways of survival live or perish.
This books holds you attention. The author has mixed
A little romance to round out the story.
Find a comfortable seat and sit back and enjoy this story and sage wisdom. You will not forget this one. -
