I thought I was done with shifters, with men, and with broken relationships. Apparently not… The whole purpose of starting afresh in a ranch town was to put my past behind me.My broken heart and my abusive wolf shifter ex-boyfriend. It was not to fall into bed with a bear shifter.Branden is nothing if not trouble. He’s a playboy, a billionaire cowboy who thinks he owns every woman he lays his eyes on.So, I did what I thought was right.I snuck out of his house before he woke up.Done.Never had to see him again, right?Wrong. My pregnancy test laughed in my face. And my little boy reminds me of Branden every single day.Erasing his memories is hard.Especially now that I’ve been offered a job at a ranch. My new boss? The same bear shifter that I’ve been trying to forget. And if my memory serves me right, then his temper will decide the fate of my future.  Will I lose my baby? Will I lose my job? Maybe even my life? Adults Only!

I did not connect with any of the characters in this book. Strangely enough though I felt more chemistry between Braden and Thomas than I did between Erin and Braden. Nothing about this made sense. It’s a book full of pointlessness. Being a shifter served no purpose in the story. The baby served no purpose in the story even though that’s kind of what it was about. He just existed to create drama and tension. Apparently Erin is fluent in Russian and French but never needed it in the storyline. I’m also really trying to figure out how Braden got classified as a cowboy when he literally did no work at all in the book. He basically just yelled at everyone and fired his best friend because he scheduled his meeting at 6:30. Erin was a huge flake with hardly any redeeming qualities. But somehow two dysfunctional people managed to stop being dysfunctional long enough to wrap up the end.

    An Awesome Book!!!

I enjoyed reading Cowboy Bear’s Secret Baby(Billionaire Bear Rancher Brothers Book 1). All about Erin a young girl in her twenties & Branden Saunders a bear shifter cowboy billionaire rancher. Erin is down on her luck, just scored a job at a fancy dress shop across from a fancy ranch called Ursa. To celebrate her new job she goes into the bar for a drink & meets Branden. Read about Branden & Erin and the unusual connection they seem to have with each other! If you enjoy reading about shifters, this is a great story, lots of action and pleasurable outcomes!!! I can’t wait to read book 2 !!!!!!

2.5 stars for this one. Neither Braden nor Erin were really that likeable. He was a self centered, playboy and she was kind of crazy.

His behavior was basically understandable because he was a billionare, extremely good looking shifter. Erin's behavior on the other hand was perplexing. She ran away from a shifter in the middle of the night. She runs to another city, gets a new job and a new start. She meets Braden her 1st night and based on some crazy attraction hops into bed. She realizes he may be a shifter and quits her job and runs.

Ahe discovers that she is pregnant and she hides for a uear and a half. However, she appliea to work on the ranch where she met Braden though it was a different location . She now knows he's a shifter because her son is too.

She sees him again, and again starts sleeping with him while trying to hide his son. If you don't want him to know, a better lie would have been to say she was married or in a new relationship. Why take up with him again and then run.

The heat level was 🔥🔥. I just couldn't relate/connect to either character.

The only adults in this book was the FC mother and Thomas, Erin was a huge flake and Braden was an immature and emotional dick.

I understand being a parent is very difficult especially for the first time, but she was completely ignoring her child in favor of going out and seemed more like a teenager throughout the whole book. Braden was worse because he seemed more like a toddler throwing tantrums when things weren’t going his way.

Will say that it started great but after that it went downhill. Thomas was a great character especially, with putting up with Braden. What sucked was that there was many irrelevant things that doesn’t help in anything. Also, the book seemed to drag on when in reality the book basically had so much filler details and not enough story points( those moments that make the book grab you).

    Recommend passing in this series.

do not often write like to write reviews less than 3 stars as I believe sometimes some do just to be rude, but oh my. I can not go any further. I read thru book 3, because i bought it first not realizing it had 2 more before it. Book 1 was Meh and gave book 2 a try. I had hoped the editing and plotting would get better. No. I regret not DNFing. The writing was poor. Very glaring editing and proofreading mistakes nearly every couple pages. It's as if a 14yo wrote these without having a friend read their paper before turning it in. I wanted so bad to like these books especially after reading Vanessa Vale and Renee Rose Wolf brothers. Does. Not. Compare.

Braden and Erin are our main players. Erin knows about the shifter world because of an abusive ex-boyfriend. Braden is a party hard playboy bear shifter. Erin is a runner, she doesn't stay around and see what's going to happen as soon as she's not happy or feels like something isn't going to work out she takes off. Braden just floats through life. This it's basically how they meet, she runs, they meet again, she runs again, and everything that happens in between. There's not really an antagonist in this book. Is just irresponsible people who start growing up because they have to not necessarily because they want to.

Escaping a bad breakup with a wolf shifter, this FMC finds a new job and ends up having a fling with a bear shifter. When that fling results in pregnancy she runs again because she doesn't want to end up like she did the first time but when she runs into the same baby daddy bear shifter she can't help falling for him, while hiding the existence of his son from him. When chaos strikes again she's off and running again bit is it really for the best?

Erin escaped an abusive relationship. She met Banden in her new town. He didn't tell her who he really was. They spend a night together. She gets some news and runs away. Her next job brings her back into Branden's life. She has a secret she is keeping from him. He really goes crazy. Thankfully, this is a HEA. I am wondering what happened to her ex.

    Shifter, human & secret baby

He's a bear shifter that doesn't believe he has a fated mate. He's an alcoholic, playboy and quite the business man. All that changes after one night with her! She's just escaped from an abusive relationship. Got a new job and celebrating her first day with him. She finds herself pregnant and fearing the worst, she runs.

At least I was able to read it through KU.

Where was the editor for this story? Author was not able to write this story, author vomited words all over this tale. Absolutely nothing adds up on the plotline. Erin is a completely immature child playing at being an adult. I will not be reading the rest of the series.

  • Marion Lent

Ugh. I really wanted to like this

The main characters are so ridiculously immature and the story so underdeveloped that it's hard to finish the book. I honestly only finished it because I enjoyed the gist of it and wanted to see how it turned out. Not going to finish the series or any other books by Maia as I don't want to waste any more money.

  • Jane Elizabeth

There is definitely a lot of drama and angst in this one. Running from a bad relationship is a very smart thing to do, but running other times...not so much. Will she ever figure it out?
    We can only hope! LOL

  • Stacy Lynn McGrady-Riley

    Great, Great, Great!

What a wonderful story. Maia is an awesome story teller. This the 2nd book in this series, I read them out of order but you dont have to read them in order to understand them.

Gw lebih suka Thomas drpd tokoh2 utamanya.
Erin apalagi, dikit2 kabur. Dikit2 kabur. Ngerti sih pas dia kabur dr pacar sebelumnya.
Tp kenapa harus kabur dari Braden? Kenal aja kagak.

Trus chemistry nya ga berasa antara Braden dan Erin.

  • Rachel Schembri

    Not my favorite.

I loved all the others but I Truly didn’t care for this one. I never ended up liking the lead male character and I didn’t like the female lead either. Both extremely selfish in their own ways and she was very flakey.

  • Linda Bass
