Great second book of the series!
It is a wild ride, and Maxx pulls off another great book! Sam and his ladies continue to narrowly escape time and again, but it doesn’t get stale or seem to be by rote. From the Citadel to Lifestream, Sam and Company continue their quest to save the world and it’s broken citizens after a brutal invasion. The Aspirant’s company grows, new characters are refreshing. Can’t wait for book 3. Hurry up, Maxx!
