Falling For Her (Love and Loyalty, #3) Reviews

Shorter read but a good one. Robby is part of the group of friends and former Navy SEAL that has a security business together in Pennsylvania. He's on his way to pick up his daughter in Maryland from his lecherous ex-wife who he found to be pregnant by another man when he returned from his last deployment and sees a damsel in distress whose car is out of commission. Sparks fly instantly between Becca and Robby on their road trip as he gives her a ride to her Uncle's home for Christmas. Anyway, Becca and Robby fall for each other through their shared love for his little girl, Ruby. Ruby and Becca hit it off immediately as Becca has a knack with kids. Robby is new at this daddy thing and now that he has full custody of 6 year old Ruby, he's a bit out of sorts. He asks Becca to come with him back home to PA to be Ruby's nanny, she declines. She has to go back to college and wants to spend her Christmas break with her uncle.
Unfortunately, when she returns to her Uncle's home (he raised her after her parents' death), she discovers a terrible secret about him and this spooks her enough to leave his home and contact Robby to accept the nanny job during her Christmas break. They begin to pick up where they left off, falling for each other, but it's give and take between them. Robby has some scars from his marriage and Becca has trust issues because everything she thought she knew about her uncle isn't so. Can Robby and Becca and Ruby make a family together or are they doomed for failure? It's a cute single dad story. Hot love scenes and good back story although maybe author jumped the shark with the uncle's story, but it was still a worthwhile read that I enjoyed spending the day reading. You will too! Really love this series. Looking forward to Seven's story. -
Robby and Becca will have you on the edge of your seats with this thrilling story. Robby comes to Becca’s aid when she is stranded and brings her to her uncle’s home but not before he has some drama of his own with his ex and daughter. Becca sees and hear something that gives her pause with her uncle so she narrowly escapes being found out. Taking the job as nanny for Robby’s daughter is a godsend and as they spend time together, their feelings for each other intensifies but darkness is approaching as her uncle realizes that Becca knows what happened. Will Robby be able to keep her safe? I voluntarily agreed to receive an ARC of this book for an honest review.

The SEAL and The Nanny
Robby was finally getting his divorce. All the while he was putting his life on the line, his wife Larissa was taking his money and sleeping with another man. On top of that, she was neglecting their daughter. Robby was going to get his daughter on Christmas Eve when he found a woman stranded on the side of the road, Becca. Becca was headed hone to Baltimore to surprise her Uncle for the holidays. After determining Robby to be an honorable man, she accepted his ride instead of freezing to death. He instantly found Becca attractive, but all the hell he'd experienced with Larissa he wanted to look, but not touch. Once they made it to get his daughter, Robby became angrier by the minute by the area he had his daughter living in. When he and Becca walked in, he became livid. His daughter living conditions were not what he expected but Larissa looked like she was photo shoot ready even though she was pregnant. Becca proved to be a God send with Ruby, and he offered her a position to be his Nanny. She declined because ahe had college and wanted to spend time with her uncle. Robby dropped her to her uncles and drove away a little sad. Surprised that her uncle wasn't home, she went in to rest. Awakened by argue, Becca witnessed something she shouldn't and couldn't believe. She left to become the Nanny. Ruby, Robby and Becca got into their groove and Becca and Robby skirted around their sexual tension. What he didn't know was Becca was a virgin. When he did find out, let's say it was too late and his reaction was not what Becca expected. Things become tense, the thing she witnessed is weighing on her, and she needs to cut ties with Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. Becca is heartbroken and so is Robby, but even worse - her uncle is after her. Will Robby get her back or will her Uncle get her first? -
I didn't know what to expect from reading this book. For the most part, it was an easy read. It wasn't too complicated and the characters were easy to follow. I was trying to figure out how Robby was considered a bad boy. The only thing I thought was remotely bad about him was that he was terrible at reading women. I liked the brotherhood between him and his seal friends. However, for someone that worked in such a detailed oriented field, he was not very detailed or observant for my taste. Often time, things went over his head or he missed it altogether. Becca was naive and also did not pay attention to detail. She missed all the things that would later get her caught. Robby and Becca's relationship developed too quickly for me.
Happy reading! -
Stranded college student encounters retired SEAL
Becca’s car dies on her way to visit her uncle during her winter break from college. Fortunately for Becca, Robby Hart, the man who stops to assist her is a retired SEAL on his way to pickup his daughter after being overseas for a few years.
It’s clear that Robby and Becca have chemistry, I loved how Becca was able to help Robby form a bond with his neglected daughter, Ruby.
There are unexpected twists in the story. Enough to keep you on edge but not scare you. But the underlying love story is strong and builds quickly, although naturally. -
He Fell! She Fell! A Lot of Talking, just not enough communicating!
Becca and Robby met and it was Lust at first sight! It was kind of cute, but they were both very in their head with their feeling, so it was thoughts of sex and sex! Not enough romance and communicating those romantic feelings to the other person! There was the mix with Robby’s daughter that did not quite fit, but the author made it work. Then, there were the Love & Loyalty Friends, who added a bit of comedy and comraderie. Now I don’t know why, but all the Love & Loyalty Females in this particular serial reminded me of giggly teenage girls, who gather in their cliches laughing and sharing their romantic escapades! You cannot have many secrets in this group! Waiting now for the next one to see if it can best Silva and Tandi’s story, which was my favorite! -
Great Read!!
Ok,let me just say ruby was a whole trip by herself !She gave poor Robby so much help in the beginning that it wasn't even funny but with the witch she had for a mother,I could see why .Now correct me if I'm wrong but how in the hell was the wicked witch of the West was sharing clothes with ruby ??I'm I hated the fact that Carson turned out to be trash I really wanted him to not be but he was .I'm so glad Becca,Robby, and Ruby got their HEA.I can't wait until seven finds his HEA .This book was recommended by Unique Words and I would highly recommend it as well -
I really liked this story. It was pretty good from start to finish. I love stories about genuinely good guys especially badasses. The lead female I like a lot as well. She was young but she was smart and kind and not whiney or needy. I found it interesting that I could not really tell you what any of the characters really looked like but it was not necessary for the story. Again I enjoyed the story for sure.

OUTSTANDING
5-stars, I LOVED THIS BOOK. It has everything, drama ,comedy, mystery, and love. Robby, was a good guy from the beginning. Becca, was a sweetheart from the beginning. Ruby was precious though out the book. Seven, Silva, Eats, and the rest of the S.E.A.L.S. added so much to this book, it was a glorious read. I ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS BOOK. -
Excellent
Becca and Robbie were crazy about each other but couldn't find a way to let each other know. Too an almost tragedy to set them straight. Loved the rest of the guys/ family and looking for Sevens story. -
Not a bad book. I liked Robby and Becca as a couple. I didn’t understand why Becca didn’t want to tell Robby what she thought was going on considering he works in security. Also his daughters mother sounded like trash

Series
I love this series and I always enjoy Niya James’ sweetly hot books. Rebecca and Robbie meet by happenstance but find that they are just what the other one needs.
