  • ~*~Princess Nya Vasiliev~*~

This book was hot. Sexy, sensual, and crazy. Hubby and I liked just about everything here.
Lennonx and Raven set my Kindle on fire.

The plot and the characters we like. Except for Robin What a selfish cow.

It only gets 4 stars from us because we both agree that, since the issues with Raven and her family, especially her Dad, were so central to majority of the book concerning them; it would have been nice to see a bit more of their healing together instead of just being told they were slowly on the mend and working it out after all these years of dysfunction.

Other than that this was a really good read.
We are both eager and curious about Lennox's brother, Sawyer. Whats up with him and Sasha????

I am thoroughly enjoying The Arrangement series. So far, each couple have been persuaded to marry someone from within their exclusive society to seal some type of important business deal. Luckily, the heroes and heroines don't look like trolls. They are attractive, well-connected, educated professional with careers and they choose NOT to rely on their trust funds to live on.

Raven and Lennox marry very quickly and they have their wedding night over and over again. Because of their chemistry between the sheets, they decide to date and get to know one another better and it goes quite well. That's good because the relationship between her and her father has always been shaky. She'll need an ally when she finds out some answers to longtime questions.

I really enjoyed the lack of animosity among this couple. Readers also get to reconnect with a couple of characters from previous books. There are a lot of single, marriageable men and women to pair up. Lennox has three brothers. Raven has two sisters and one best friend that could be paired with a Lennox brother. It doesn't stop there because there are other families to get in on the fun. So, I think we can expect many more of these stories in the future. Who got next?!

    Recommended: Read it!

The mafia princess became his heart beat

Even though their first meeting was testy, they were still attracted to each other. Their whole world turned upside down when Raven Bishop stepped in to sacrifice herself to an arranged marriage instead of her selfish sister. Lennox Nash thought his being a doctor would keep him out of his father's Irish Mafia hands. Little did either of them know, there was a big plot going on between the families. The only way outsiders could have access to Founder's island was through marriage. Raven could not understand how her father could treat her the way he did as she had Daddy issues big-time and he definitely had his favorites and she was not it. Raven just let her family walk all over her.

Both Lennox and Raven initially thought of ways to get a divorce until they were married and their first night together. All of a sudden, Lennox felt obligated to protect Raven from her family if it was the last thing he did. He would not allow anyone to hurt her and that included her family. By marrying her, he found out she was not the spoiled princess he thought she was but she had a loving heart of gold. He was determined to have her heart body and soul. Raven was finding herself feeling the same way but was afraid of another heartbreak.

I really did not feel the chemistry between Raven and Lennox. Their relationship took off too hot and too fast. Neither one of them wanted to be married to the other but gave in to each other too fast in my opinion. The drama surrounding the whodunit to Dr. Bishops had more excitement for me. Regardless, Raven got the answers that she wanted. It made her father seem to take out his anger on the wrong person. The best things that happened for Raven was with Lennox having her back, she found her backbone and stood up to her family and got her HEA too.

    Third Time is the Charm

I have read books 2 and 3 in this series. Book 2 by Francesca Penn was excellent and I didn’t think it could be equaled. However, Kasey Martin has risen to the task. This book contains some of the same people and is set in the same place. The
premise is the same....an arranged marriage....but instead of a
slow burn we get a flash fire. Raven and Lennox reluctantly enter this arrangement but by the end of the honeymoon they are a couple. Raven has a shaky relationship with her family especially her father and Lennox sees her sweet spirit and kind heart. He falls fast in love with her and she sees his heart of gold under his snarky exterior. They get this relationship thing right....putting each other first and promising not to keep secrets. There are enough secrets between their mafia/medical/elitist families. Such a good story.
Hoping that Sawyer, Sasha, Dove, Cullen and Caerwyn have stories in the works or already completed.

2.75 Stars. (BW/WM). Kindle Unlimited Edition e-book. This is the third book in this series and this author has revealed a bit more about Founders Island: it is its own country, it is one of the weatlthest countries in existence, it is near the United States and has a population of over 2 million people. Founding families can not marry pure bloods of any race; however, many of them have left the Island and found pure blood spouses in other countries and have retained their status once they return to Founders Island. Although each of the stories thus far have been written by different authors, the course of the storylines and arc of the main characters is similar enough to be called cookie cutters of each other. In this story, the heroine, Raven Bishop, a second or third cousin to the series premiere heroine is going to enter into an arranged marriage, fall into insta lust/ love with the hero. The hero, Dr. Lennox Nash, a neurosurgeon will succumb to the same insta lust/ love and commence to having lots of rough sex and sarcastic banter. Raven, has acceptance issues and has been overlooked and deceived and treated badly by her dysfunctional family; but we are told they heal and all is well to include her marriage and new family.

Dr. Nash….. I want to marry a Doctor now

Lennox was so rude, sexy, PROTECTIVE and I loved every minute of it! To read another story that shows an African American heroine w a relatable/different personality from our typical stereotype made me so happy. I love to read the realness. Not every black woman is aggressive, outspoken and snappy. Like Raven, some of us don’t like confrontation but will do it when pushed. Some of us are insecure, take crap and don’t fight back. The twist in this book was unsuspected 😱 If you felt like Free Falling by King Ellie and Hale on Earth by Fracesca Penn (the two previous books in the series) was too much then this is read will be cool down.

Lies can destroy the strongest heart

Raven has wondered for years why he father hates her, and what is her little sister dove pro lam. Her sister robin and her mom have always made being in the family just a little better. When raven sees a raven to have her sister robins back in a major way she steps up with no hesitation, but Lennox and raven will learn so many truths as their normal life unfolds and having each other is the security blanket thstbwill help them make it the unit all. Sasha and Sawyer yeah they got a story to tell although not as good as raven' s mom

    Raven & Lennox's arrangement!
Sometimes, love found you when you are least expected,... The parents in Founder's Island, take it upon themselves to force their children into arranged marriages. Raven and Lennox found themselves in that situation, lucky for them their chemistry is of the chart...
    great read!

    Lennox and Raven

Loved this way more than i thought I would. There wasn’t alot of drama but I do like how they stood up for each other and to each other. 💙💙Didn’t really like her family honestly. For her dad how can you treat her that way for something that wasn’t her fault and through her whole life. Smh. The mom might have tried to make up for it but how can you stay with someone who treats your child that way for years and years. Also liked that the mafia wasn’t the main theme of the story it was more about their love. I’m interested in Sasha and Sawyer. Overall this was a short but sweet read. Want more from this author.

    The third arrangement, yes

Yes the third arrangement was definitely the charm. Raven deserved better treatment from her parents and siblings. Robin and Dove angered me because of the way they treated Raven, and Daddy Bishop needed a butt whooping. I did not have hard feelings for Lennox as he had no idea of the full Bishop/Nash debacle. Their story had quick passion that felt real, it was nice to see their relationship at the end of the story. A good read.

    Lennox and Raven💗💗💗💗

Heartbeat is Book 3 of( The Arrangement Series). This was Lennox Nash and Raven Bishops story. The storyline was so real! Another 5 star worthy book from this author and another example of how love has no timeframe. I enjoyed every moment of this book. From the way the H&H reacted to each other and as well as the smooth transition from the previous books. This series was written by three talented women but it could make you feel as if it’s one author. I do hope you guys enjoy this book as much as I did!

  • Cleo

    Sooooo good!

Wow. This is the third book of the series but I started with this one! Hot, sexy and well written! I loved their relationship. Raven and Lennox make a striking couple with just the right amount of chemistry! Yes! It was hawt! I enjoyed this book wish it was longer. Great supporting characters that I hope get their own HEA!

  • Annette

This is my favorite in this series. Amongst the family secrets and manipulation, these two pull back the layers and find love. It's not easy for her to trust, he's cocky and they are both independent and rightly stubborn about their situation. I love his drive to not only not deny their explosive attraction but how supports her emotionally. It's not easy but it works for their lifestyle.

Why in the world I waited till 2 days ago to read this great, smothering hot book.
Lennox and Raven were tricked into an arranged marriage. However, they can’t stand each other. Will the marriage work or will they flop like broken sandals? This series is fabulous! Great read for a cozy night.

  • Renita

    Lennox's Raven👑

Raven thought she would never find a groom let alone have a child! Because of their meddling parents, Lennox loves Raven and shows her what a happy life they can had together! Loved this book in its entirety.

  • Victoria Ziglor-smith

    Ooookkkkkaaaayyyyyy

Now this is serious, I’m going to have to go find me a friend to work out the kinks from reading this series, or play by myself. Nnnnaaaaaa that’s not going to help, ladies this series will have you reaching out make sure your man is on standby.

  • Rita

    Good read

This was good. It was merry go round if trouble. I would not forgive her father. To treat her like sh!!t for twenty-six years is absolutely ridiculous. So freak that. Robin also. Love the series.

  • Carolyn King

    Very Good Book

I love mafia family books. Raven was so sweet. I hated the way her father treated her. She thought she was helping the family out by marrying Lennox. They both got played by their families. I am glad they fell in love with each other.

  • Angie

    So good.

I love Ms. Martin. All of her books are amazing. I love how Raven and Lennox hated each other but acted like grown ups and made lemons out of lemonade. I can't wait to read about Sasha and Sawyer.
