An Urban Charts Bestseller.

For these two sisters, love doesn't come easy. Bestselling author J. Dominique returns with a heart wrenching romance.

Gorgeous? Yes.

Ambitious? Definitely.

Looking at sisters Dream and Destiny Parker, they definitely do not look like what they’ve been through. And taking care of themselves is no object. However, the sisters met a set of brothers that can take care of them better than they can themselves, in all areas of their lives. Will the sisters let down their guards enough and allow the men into their hearts and lives?

Being the oldest, Dream has had her fair share of struggle; especially, when it came to men. Now, she’s only concerned with getting her and her sister’s business off the ground. So, the last thing she expects is the wind known as Elijah King to come blowing into her life, changing everything she thought she knew about love.

Love. Nothing to be scared of, especially for Elijah “Eazy” King. He isn’t the type to run from love—in fact, he craves it. At this point in his life, he is ready to settle down and have the type of love, marriage, and life his parents have. The type that lasts decades. Knowing that he doesn’t have this type of love in his current relationship, Elijah is used to hard work. And he is willing to put in the work to achieve this with her… until he sees Dream. Immediately taken by her, Elijah can see that Dream is everything that he wants, needs, and desires; the type of woman that he wouldn’t mind spending forever and a day with. However, Dream has a shield around her heart that seems to be impenetrable. Will he be able to break through the ice she has around her heart and acquire that love that he wants?

Although she is the baby sister, Destiny has been an adult for as long as she can remember. Not only because of their mother’s neglect but also because she is a young mother herself. Providing for her son has always been Destiny’s priority and she doesn’t take that lightly. However, it seems like she has a second child living with her since her live-in boyfriend allows her to carry both of their weights. Unexpectedly, her knight in shining armor, Jeremiah King, comes right in on time and rescues her and her son, causing Destiny to fall head over heels. However, the only difference is that the feelings return only one way.

Jeremiah “Juice” King is living his best life, due to his profession. Money. His choice of any woman he wants. Power. He’s never met a woman that he cares for or love besides his mother; he’s not looking for one either. So, the last thing he wants is an attachment… of any kind. However, the illicit package of Destiny and her son may be just what he needs—everything that he never knew that he wanted. With the world at his fingertips, will Jeremiah be able to give up his playboy ways for a monogamous life Destiny and her son?

This was my first book from this author and I absolutely loved it. I devoured this book from beginning to end as there was never a dull moment in this story. Destiny, Jeremiah, Dream and Elijah left me wanting more of their story as this one ends with a major cliffhanger. Destiny and Jeremiah are funny as hell. I can't help but laugh out loud at Jeremiah's antics and although what he did was dirty, he let Destiny know what it was before everything went down. I'm loving Dream and Elijah but Dream defintiely had me yelling at her to not do what she was planning on doing. I knew it was only a matter of time before Elijah found out but the fact that she lied was a no-go. I Buddah and his sneaky and lucky cousin get what they deserve and even Jayden if he want's to be out here acting grown and bad. I can't wait to read how things play out especially, with Jeremiah and Yo'sahn. I'm defintiely looking forward to reading not only the next book in this series but other series from this author.

    Style: African American Urban
    Story: 3/5
    Sexual: GOOD
    Enjoyment: 4/5
    Male:
    Series: BOOK 1 of 3(cliffhanger)

This was different for me in the aspect of reading 4 POV in one story. Two sisters calls for 2 brothers, and I was throughly entertained. It definitely felt like a page turner and getting caught up in almost 3 different storylines (not confusing) Dream and Eazy, Destiny and Juice and the brothers’ empire. I laugh at some scenes, roll my eyes at others and got turn on with others.

Overall, this won’t be for everyone. If you are a fan of African American Urban, you know what to expect. Not a fan though of a 3 part book. Loose interest quicker but let’s see how part 2 goes.

***I don’t equate these stories to real life. It’s definitely about personal taste and what you would or want to tolerate with the stories you read. I hope this review was helpful.

    Serious Bidness!,,,

Elijah aka Eazy and Jeremiah aka Juice King ran the streets and were straight bosses. Destiny and Dream were sisters trying to get to their dream of opening a Salon and Lash beauty bar. Destiny’s raggedy good for nothing boyfriend Dre owes those king brothers some doe and will sell his woman out if it gets him out of trouble. Destiny has had enough! It’s time for Dre to his the Chi town scold streets. Meanwhile Dream and Eazy meet under some unusual circumstances but when the ladies have a gift under their noses they cannot refuse. Dream and Eazy have a past acquaintance who is planting seeds when she decides to make that one time visit. Meanwhile Trell (brother from another mother) tracks Dream and informs Eazy. Pictures d words are worth a thousand. Destiny and Juice are stubborn it one night of passion may make them talk. Yoshan her son loves Juice and he cares about him. Buddha Is in jail, getting ready To be released but has the team questioning how? Lots of hating, lots of trust issues and how things are going to be resolved, help them that are involved! Great , great story!,, part 2

    A Must Read

Destiny, Dream, Elijah ,and Jeremiah have no clue that their lives are intertwined in some way by two snake's. I couldn't do anything laugh at Destiny and Jeremiah. How they met wasn't funny because Destiny scandalous ass ex Dre put her life in danger bringing his mess to her home. Jeremiah was trying his hardest to fight his attraction for her but it was hard to. Especially because he took her son Yo'Sahn under his wing. Dream first impression of Elijah wasn't the greatest but it was funny. The two of them found themselves in a relationship. However Dream has a ex who can't seem to move on and Elijah has a mentor that turned out to be a snake. Dream also went behind Elijah back instead of being truthful. Now he is looking at her side ways. I don't see how Jeremiah missed Grim being a snake but it definitely cost him at the end and little Yo'Sahn was caught in the middle as well. Nothing good will come from Budda snitching ass being back out and he have help from someone they least expect.

This series centered around the two sisters and two brothers falling for each other and the ways they were unknowingly connected. The series had a few interesting characters, drama, conflict a good plot idea. While the story revolved around the makeshift couples, it didn't rely on any romance. There was random sex, but no romance or none that we got to experience save for the first date that Elijah and Dream went on a couple of weeks after meeting. I would have liked to see the couples develop the deep love they appeared to have for each other as most of the series was spent with them in turmoil. I have been able to connect with the characters and thus the scenes that should have been emotional would have been. Instead, they were a bit cold. The focal point of the series was the drama of every day living between the four characters and that's okay. It worked.

Its always the ones closet to u!!

Man o man this was definitely a page turner!! Eazy is a prime example of what women want but then u got the unpredictable juice, causing mayhem while handling biz in da background. Destiny and dream really need good men since they have been through so much. Then u have budda with his lies and controlling ways creepin back into dream's life just because she doesn't want him. Juice butt hurt ova a decision he made in not letting destiny be his woman, but wanting her to be alone/with no one else. Who knew the problems you thought u got rid of will come back to haunt you!! Part 2 finna b explosive!!

    Ahhhhh Hell

That's what Grim a$s gets for turning on his people. Dre suppose to be dead and him and Snitch Bit%h think they about to rule the world. Please let my boo Juice pull through. I love his mean self and he need to just be real with Destiny. How he don't want her but don't want nobody else to have her either. Poor lil Yoshi, he's just a kid and I hope he alright or Destiny gonna lose it. I wish Dream would have told Eazy about her ex, now he gonna think she plotting against him to. I can feel a storm coming and I'm ready for it.💙💙

    Cant wait to read Pt.2

This book was really good. But I expected nothing less from Cole H. I can’t believe all the drama that’s about to take place. Destiney about to be sick. Dream and her visit about to shake up her relationship and let’s not forget about Budda and that punk ass Dre. Who would have thought? I live how everyone is connected. I know the King brothers are about to take a hit but I know they’re going to come out on top.

    Good book

My first time reading this author i must say it was good. Who would have thought that destiny and dream would fall for brothers. And to find out that dream ex was Buddha but like destiny told her she should have told Easy about him. I hope that Yoshon and Juice are ok i can’t believe that Dre was still alive. Can’t wait for part 2.
