I’m in love with my enemies, but obviously they don’t feel the same way.
When their lies and betrayal surface, I have no choice but to leave.
They’ve broken my heart, but not my spirit.
They think they’ve won. They think they’ve ruined me.
The only thing they’ve done is made me stronger.
With new threats coming in from all sides, I have to silence my enemies. Joining forces with those who wanted to ruin me isn’t easy, but neither am I, despite their best efforts.
I’m right back where I started. On my knees. But this time, it’s for a different reason.
This time, I’m playing to win. This time, they need my silence if they’re going to survive.
In Silence is a #whychoose romance. Due to dark content, this book is recommended for eighteen and older.

Oh man this was good... so angsty, so heartbreaking, so WOW!
Such a wild ride.. everyone had their own plans and their own agendas. The horseman were doing what they thought was right
I still adore Ethan!! Fox is still at the bottom, but slowly making his way to the top. Enzo and Cole are at the midway point. Team Ethan ALL THE WAY!
There are SO many villains in this story. Some are in your face and some are hidden in the shadows. Some who try to be angels are actually doing quite devilish things. Too many secrets and hidden truths to keep count. So many unfinished conversations. So many missed opportunities.
This book was one dark and intriguing rollercoaster of emotions. I hurt for Rosalie. She had barbs coming from all directions. I don't think some were intentional, but they still broke her. She is a badass though to put up with it all... and for what?
I thought the cliffhanger in book 1 was a tough one to read... but this one, oh my gosh!!! I need book 3 NOOOOWWWWWW! -
Oh, this was so good. Such a terribly, tormented, angsty read. Rosalie wants the four horsemen, but she's made a deal with the devil, and he truly is evil.
Although she goes some way to squeezing herself out of it, the devil finds out, and when that happens, all hell is going to let loose.
Is there anyway to come back from this? I have to say I felt for the heroine. She's wedged herself in such a nasty place here. Fingers crossed she can somehow get herself out of it... that cliffhanger ending has me bitting my nails!! -
ETA August 2021: Been discussing this series with a friend this week and i never read the last book and thank god for it. This was my first RH series when only the first book was out, but the angst, the things that happen and the trauma that occurs throughout isn’t something I’d recommend now. The writing isn’t bad, but the me of now does not like or care for the OW drama in this series, the reasoning why the guys want her, or the trauma that occurs.

November 2020:
I had been anxiously anticipating this book since the end of the first one! It definitely took some darker twists and turns then the first one, and some that I definitely wasn’t expecting but that worked out.
I know Rosalie was hurt but I wish that she had just been a tad bit smarter in everything and more communicative. I loved that Ethan got his moment more so than the first one, and I’m hopeful for things to come in the third book with him and her.
Fox is proving to be a little hard to be redeemable for me, mostly because I hate the reasoning behind his grudge of her, and also because I hate that he had to do things with Juliet. But I’m holding out hope for him too! -
This series gets better and better with each book. Character development is excellent in this one for all of them, but Rosalie has changed so much it's amazing. Mind you, she does tend to dig her own grave, but it adds to the story wonderfully. I like how different her interactions with all the characters are. Definitely a whole step up the leather compared to the first book.

Dark, twisty, explosive!
It started with a scandalous notebook.
An enemies to lovers romance that is so captivating, so angst-filled, and packed with plot twists I could not put it down!
From page 1, I was drawn into one of the most creative reverse harem storylines I had ever come across. Book 1 did not prepare me for the plot turns, the drama in this book. A darker read with a matured Rosie and love interests, Fox, Enzo, Cole, and Ethan, Rosie now is out for retribution. Meanwhile Rosie’s boys are out to recapture her at the same time embattled in drama from their past mistakes. With adversaries on all sides -- at school and internally, along with some mental strife will they reclaim their girl?
I enjoyed this story so much. The plot portrayed each of the characters so individually as to know them personally, to elicit sympathy, compassion, and at times, unbound animosity. Tensions ran high, and I could feel the chemistry between the characters as the story unfolded. The steam was pure fire, palpable compatibility between Rosie and the guys. The story rendered an excellent balance of the individual relationships among the four heroes, as well as creating a foil character between them. And wait until you cross paths with Ian.
The pace of the story was perfect, balance of descriptive prose and dialogue. It was so good in fact that I arrived to the end not realizing it was over, upset that it to be over in fact. What a heck of a cliffhanger. I need more!
Expect the unexpected in this highly original reverse harem love story. -
Wow...this was Just Amazing!
Wow, wow...just wow!!! I don't think I can find the right words to sum up just how brilliant this book is!! I fell in love with these characters in book one and was desperate to start this, the second book....and OMG it hooked me right back in from the first page! ❤
I can't believe everything that happens in this story and I'm really scared for what's going to happen in the next book......I just love these guys so much....Fox, Cole, Ethan and Enzo...four super protective, determined and caring guys all fighting to get Rosalie back...just when you think all is going to be well again...KG Reuss decides to throw a super big bomb at us....which literally left me gobsmacked!! I really just don't know how I am going to cope waiting for the third and final book!!
This is bully romance at its best.....full of angst, suspense and raw emotion!! You do not want to miss it..if you haven't already then you need to start this series now!!
5 huge stars....loved it!!! -
Omg!!!!!!
Idk if I want to cry or continue to sit here in stunned silence. This book was even better than the first one. It was extremely intense. I was on edge the entire time. It frustrated me so much! I was annoyed and nervous and upset, I was stressed out. The story had my heart and it was breaking. I'm so invested in these characters and wrapped up in their world. That ending had me messed up for real. With that being said, I'm running to read the next book right now. Wish me luck! 😬😭🙌 -
Pretty much picking up where the first book left, this continues in the pov of the FMC Rosalie, with a couple of chapters thrown in with the view of one 9f the MMCs.
It has the same level of writing, in I would still associate it with a YA genre. The scenes are a little steamer this time, and any interactions where Ian is involved makes you want to reach thru the pages and punch the guy.
This book concentrates mostly on Rosalie getting revenge on the boys, even tho you can tell her heart truly isn't in it. But she feels she HAS to do something. But getting involved with Ian was a step that every reader will probably have cringed at.
As the book progressed Rosalies ice wall melts more and she decides to tell the boys that she wants them back.
For their part, they've never stopped fighting for her.
But Ian doesn't want to let her go.... And WONT let her go...
And Juliet has covertly got copies of the videos Fox had on his computer and is blackmailing the boys and Rosalie...... Will she let go so easily?
The cliffhanger is a doozy and leaves you very worried.....
This could change everything...... -
K.G. Reuss has bulldozed her way into my top reads so far in 2022. I read this book in less than 24 hours. I literally couldn’t put it down. It captured me from page 1 once again since it picks up from Book 1.
In this one, Rosie is out for revenge against those who did her harm, but still being in love with them throughout.
We’re also introduced to an even bigger villain than in book 1, Ian. This dude is seriously crazy insane, Like not in the good way at all.
My heart is pounding in my chest at this point and I am so disgusted with Ian. What the actual freak is he?!?
If you haven't read this series please do because you're definitely missing out. This is darkly twisted and so different from recent Bully books I’ve read.
I would like to deem K.G.Reuss as a cliffhanger queen because this one is definitely one I didn’t see coming. This story is dark, evil and so hot - I can’t get enough of it. I already have the next book to dive back in and see what’s happening. -
A lot was going on this book. Rosalie is getting her revenge for what she found out about the guys and what they did. However, she has more people who try to take from her.
Some parts were hard to read. Some things that Rosalie did, I could not understand. -
This book messed me up. The strength and determination with Rosie, and the truths coming out hurt like hell. The guys dynamics changed a little, and seeing their feelings and attitude change was good. Everyone hurts in this book, and there are a lot of parts that are pretty dark. The end of this book will have you holding your breath and wanting more instantly.
-
Ok. This was one fustercluck of a book on every level. Not even sure why it was published, my fist mistake was the first book but THIS?! Don’t. Even. Read. It. Seriously, this was some of the stupidest shit I’ve read in a LONG TIME.
-
Man, the twists and turns were crazy here! It was such a wild ride of emotions the entire time and just when you think you're figuring everything out, *bam* KG hits you with a surprise!
I really love how we have all the guys pov here, as opposed to just Rosie's. And goodness, they are in agony over what they're done to her. Sure it was to protect her, but at what cost? How many hearts will suffer and break with all the secrets and lies being told?
I think Ethan really gutted my heart the most here, partly because he's the one who is so open about his love for Rosie. You know the others love her too, but Ethan is just so pure and good. I love him so much.
I loved how Rosie really rose from the ashes here. She's tired of being pushed around, and although she's literally being held captive by the worst person ever, she's ready to make her guys feel as miserable as she does. And even knowing everything (or at least all this author wants us to know) I'm all here for it!
I will say though, I've never hated a character more than Juliet and Ian. Those two deserve to die a painful horrid death a thousand times over.
I would definitely be aware of all the triggers here, but damn I'm so obsessed with this series!! -

What a read
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
So then. Who do I need to give my soul to so I can get book 3 earlier? I’ll give mine and throw in some extras. I’ll do what I gotta do. This book guys, it is SO good and I am NOT ok. I’ve ignored all responsibilities and binge read both books in less than 24 hours. I LOVED book 1, but man book 2 had everything going on and was even better.
I loved the couple of chapters we got from some of the guys, you all know how obsessed I am with multiple POV’s and those were brilliant. This book continues on from In Ruins. Rosalie feeling heartbroken and betrayed wants to seek revenge against the guys (without even know the truth), she’s so righteous in what she thinks she knows that it just made me want to shake my kindle in hopes I could shake some sense into her. The guys are doing whatever they think they have to do to protect her, meanwhile she ends up in a worse situation. Blinded by her need for revenge and with Ian doing what Ian does, she ends up trapped.
Ian 🔪🔪🔪 I wanted to believe he was redeemable, but the things he does in this book. He is one messed up little cookie.
Juliet’s story is also clearly not finished, that has all been left out there ready for book 3. I hope she gets what she deserves. Preferably from Enzo’s family business 😬
I went through all the emotions with this book and have firmly fell in love with the sweetest (and possible most damaged) Ethan. My heart 🖤💔 I just wanted to wrap him up in the biggest hug I could give.
Everyone goes through something in this book and K.G takes you right along with them.
If you have triggers then you need to heed the trigger warning (which I loved by the way!) at the beginning of the book. This book is darker then book 1. -
I am so conflicted right now, I want to cry and just re-read In ruins and In silence while impatiently waiting for the next book but I also want to flip the table and throw a tantrum because I have to wait. hmmmm.... LOL!
In all seriousness, Reuss is a genius. The way this story is written and now amazing the characters are, it is genius. I love reading, it's so important to me and helps me a million times over with my mental health. I have been finding it harder and harder to find books that keep me up all night, keep turning the pages even when I have to work or be a mommy in the morning. This series? It's perfect. I honestly don't have a single bad thing to say about it. I suggest anyone who loves a good romance mixed with f*cked up and a whole lot of hot to read this! 1000000% READ THIS BOOK.
I am fangirling over this book, oh god I'm sorry but I can't help it.
This book along with the series will literally keep you on the edge of your seat. It will make you want to rage, yell, scream, Cry and leave you all hot and bothered at the same time.
K.G. Reuss, thank you so much ! -
Fast paced and full of angst!
This was a great read! It’s hard to find books that keep you turning pages throughout the whole thing, but this one has that vibe! I didn’t want to stop!
There was plenty of angst and steam, but the drama got turned way up in this sequel! I did minus 1 star because I was getting super frustrated with Rosalie not wanting to hear Fox and the guys out. I mean he tried over and over to at least explain what was going on, but she just kept walking off and wouldn’t talk to them. Granted, the whole situation was actually a little irritating bc it kept playing out on repeat with Fox, Rosalie and Juliette. It never sits well with me when the other party has to keep boning someone else...
But OMG...that cliffhanger! Please don’t make me wait 5 months for the 3rd book, that will wreck me! -
I was a huge fan of the In Ruins and because I loved it so much, I held off reading In Silence because I wanted to wait until the series was complete (well almost complete).
Unfortunately, In Silence was only a 2/3 star read for me. After the first book, I was expecting so much more! It was extremely repetitive and the drama was just way over the top that it was borderline silly and I found myself cringing throughout. And do not get me started on the guys being with Juliet to protect Rosalie OR Rosalie and Ian. Gaaahhhhh the disappointment is real!
This book had so much potential to be a killer read!! But for me, it just did not meet expectations unfortunately :( Don’t get me wrong, there were parts to it that I enjoyed and it was still readable. The cliffhanger was intense and pretty crazy. Defs enough to leave you wanting to know what happens next. -
This is the second book in the Black Falls High series and is a dark bully high school romance where the FMC doesn't have to choose, so if you haven't read In Ruins stop right now and go do that first.
If you have then welcome back to the world in which the 4 Horsemen live. In Silence finishes off where the previous book started and the whole book again is from Rosies POV apart from the prolong and epilogue. The spice is still hot and the storyline continues from where it left off but I must admit I think this one was darker than the first, and still has heavy themes that may not suit some readers so again please check the TW. And if you thought the cliffhanger in the previous book was hard then wait for this one! -
OMG guys! This book is going to break all your feels!! It's so so good!! It's twisted, dark, and deceptive. Rosalie has declared war on her men and her men have vowed to get her back no matter the cost. SWOON!!! The question is...will they come out the other side intact or will they be irreparably broken? I won't spoil the surprise...trust me, you definitely WILL NOT WANT TO MISS THIS!!!
-
Keep going
This was overtly dramatic. I mean why so much betrayal in a bunch of high school students. Yes I will still keep read the next book. Just because I know the out come of the series. -
Must Read
I don't think 5 stars is enough justice for this book. It is DARK and I was pleasantly surprised when the author left no lines uncrossed. The amount of pain, anger and emotions is off the charts. Can't wait to dive into book 3. -
Review to come
-
Can love survive everything?
Rosalie's plan for revenge may just backfire.
I couldn't look away from this, filled with moments that had me tearing and swearing.
It's just that good. -
This was actually one of my top anticipated reads for the second half of 2020. Waited for this since June when I saw the ad for it. I can't remember how many times I reread the last chapter of In Ruins. The angst! Oh, the angst! So, with that being said.....Was I disappointed? Hell fucking NO. This book was (sorry to have to use this very common adjective) AMAZING! I devoured this book in a few hours. I mean...sleep is overrated, right? The story progression flowed just as well as the first installation, dialogue and characterization were spot on, and I didn't want to strangle any of the main characters (much) the entire time.
Her harem....man, I both hated then loved them. Love how Ethan stood by his principles and never budged. He really was the strongest in the group. I licked him, he's mine.
One main thing I'm really grateful for with this book - thank you, KG, for at least giving us that sneak peak for In Chaos. It's a little nugget of hope that will stay with us while patiently waiting to see what your brilliant mind will come up with in In Chaos. -
Holy Moly Amazing
This book!!! Oh my goodness, this book! Heck this series!!! It has me on the edge of my seat! Holy cow!!! Must read amazing book!!! Read book 1 first so you are lost! These characters has so much going on with them! But it keeps you entertained!!! Need to read more as soon as possible!!! -
3.5⭐️ 2.5🌶
Great Prologue. We were really thrust right in with the answers to the cliffhanger and why Fox was so angry at Rosie. The scene and guys were cruel and I was excited to see how it was going to play out.
Unfortunately, for me, this was a disappointing follow up to In Ruins which I loved. 😫
Too much repetition and going around in circles about the OW drama. It not the OW stuff that bothered me. I mean the rationale (sleeping with someone to protect someone else 🙄) was stupid but I understand none of the situations in these kind of books are desirable or realistic. In this case though, what I didn’t like is that most of the angst could have been avoided if the guys just told Rosie about what Juliet was doing. It might not have changed the fact that they still had to keep up the charade but at least Rosie would have understood why. It’s laughable for the guys (Fox especially) to be upset with Rosie for being with Ian while he’s doing all he is with Juliet 🧐
The Ian storyline I was more ok with. It was slightly OTT but it fit better with the plot and added good suspense and real drama. The guy was psycho.
I loved seeing the relationship between Ethan and Rosie develop. What a tortured soul he is 💔 What this book lacked though, was a deeper connection with Enzo and Cole. Maybe that coming later but it was just hard to feel how in love they were with Rosie because they just didn’t get airtime.
Again, this had a great ending with an epic cliffhanger and I will without a doubt finish this series. I like these guys and have to know how it all ends up, I just wish the author had come up with another way to justify or sustain the Juliet storyline. Non-communication is just as lame as miscommunication to me. 🤷🏻♀️
Fox’s last entry in the journal is exactly the point I made above and what he should have done from the start. 🙈

Rosie,
If you’re reading this, I’m sorry. I tried. Juliet still has a lot of things. She made copies. I don’t know exactly what’s left. All I know is I can’t go on with her, doing this shit with her to protect you without your OK. I need you to tell me to. That you’ll want me despite me continuing. I’d do anything for you. If you want me to keep going, I will. We all will. Please, Rosie, tell me what to do.
I love you,
Fox
