Taryn Simmons just wants to get through her little sister’s engagement party without being too much of a sympathy case for having just broken up with her long time boyfriend. Between everyone telling her they thought she'd be the one celebrating, to standing with her sister's gorgeous, but cold friends, Taryn can't wait for the night to end.

That is, until Will Lam makes her an offer she can't refuse.

Will’s always liked Taryn, and now it’s the perfect time to show her how a woman is meant to be taken care of, full service. Even though he won't be around long, he wants to make this a night to remember.

A BWAM romance with steamy love scenes and a HFN that will leave you longing for the next book in The Wedding Series. **This Book Was Originally Titled The Engagement Party**

“Look at this party, it’s gorgeous. I just want to enjoy it without the worry of feeling judged for not having a man with me. I have a cute apartment that I fixed-up to be even cuter, a full-time job, and really great friends. I don’t see why having a man is so important,” she said. She looked back at Will. He looked amused.

“What are you smirking about?” Taryn demanded. She instantly regretted the question. Will’s eyes had gone from alert to something she could only describe as smoldering. It made her nervous, and this excited her.

“I’m enjoying the view too,” he said. He relaxed his arms and leaned onto the table. Taryn couldn’t help but lean toward him. The heat of his body was comforting. It seemed to pull her toward him.

“Taryn, look at you, you’re such a force. If it makes people uncomfortable because you’re independent and sexy as hell, well fuck them.”

Taryn blinked. She’d never heard it put to her that way before.

“Wow, I wish I always had you around for pep talks,” she said.

Casually, Will began to play with her fingers, lacing his with her own. Taryn could’ve sworn she felt a jolt of energy pass from his hand to hers, grounding her, and connecting her to him.

“I need to tell you something,” he said.

Taryn searched his face, hoping this was becoming more than friendly. She waited for his response.

“I’m leaving for Vietnam in the morning,” he said.

“To visit your family?” Taryn squeaked.

Will nodded.

“For a month. Weirdly, I get home the same day as the coed bridal shower,” he said.

Taryn rolled her eyes. She’d never been a fan of showers of any kind. Adding men into the mix wasn’t going to fix the awkwardness of making someone smell a diaper filled with melted chocolate and calling it a game.

“You’re not going to get off a plane after flying for half a day and come to the shower, are you? You’re going to be exhausted,” she said. Without thinking, she lifted her hand and touched a strand of his hair. She felt the heat radiate off of him and quickly pulled her hand away, embarrassed by what she’d done.

“Only if you plan to be there,” he said, looking at her.

Taryn looked down and gave a shy smile.

“Will, I have to be there, it’s my sister’s bridal shower,” she said.

He nodded at the obvious.

“Then I’ll be there,” he said.

He looked into her eyes, and then put his mouth to her ear.

“Let me take care of you tonight,” he said.

Taryn gasped in surprise. Her talks with Will had only ever ended with warm embraces since she’d been dating someone else.

Her whole body grew soft. The space between her thighs began to throb. It already felt like sweet relief.

She took a deep breath. Daniel had stopped touching her a while ago and it felt good to be wanted. She could go back to the party and make small talk, or she could find out what Will had in mind.

Why not?

She followed Will away from the party.

    Too short....I want more

Being a plus size woman myself, I found this story very relatable. I could see a little of myself in the main character. Can't wait to read more.
