"Holy shit, man! How do guys take that thing?"

"They don't have to, because it's never been this big before. You did this--your hot body. I've never been this hard, never been this big, because I've never been with anyone this amazing." These words had the effect that Booker hoped they would.

"Oh, fuck," Reynold breathed as his eyes rolled back in his head.

"I've been with some hot guys before, but you are the sexiest by far. Your muscles make me weak. And your eyes get me so hot--I can lose myself in them. And you’re the most beautiful I've ever seen. I want you so badly I can taste it, and I want you right now. You are all mine, all mine." This was, Booker knew as he said it, the absolute truth.

    Wow unexpected love

I loved this book, there are so many men that come back from war change and a lot of the time it just takes patience to help them through there nightmares, this author did a wonderful job writing this book

This was a surprisingly sweet story.
    Was it believable? Not really.
Did I wish that there was more emphasis on the disability Reynold sustained? Yes. In fact, this was a majority of why I didn't rate it higher. He was paralyzed, but the extent of his injuries wasn't made clear and then all of a sudden his miracle of a gay friend helps him have orgasms again - and he regains? sensation in that area... but is still paralyzed. It was all romanticized a bit too much.

The other aspect that detracted from my enjoyment was the effortless manner that Reynold just became gay? bi? I would say bi because he was still attracted to women.

Overall, I wasn't mad about the book.

Lee writes a very sweet story with a heartwarming message of "love is love". Reynold is a straight man who has been paralyzed after being injured fighting in the war in Afganistan. Upon returning home, his wife leaves him as she wants children and gives up fighting to help Reynold return to his previous state to give them to her. When Booker, Reynold's gay physical therapist, offers his home up to Reynold, their friendship grows into something more, something beautiful.

Lee writes more in a "telling" rather than "showing" way, but the message makes up for the lack of concrete character development and quick plot development.

    Time of death: 19%.
DNF. Which I almost NEVER do. I usually haul my ass through the book - but this nope could not do it.!
Yes it’s sweet and kinda cute but I just couldn’t take the way the author had the MC’s thoughts described and have them think the same think at the same time multiple times in a row. Just not enough depth to it at all. Sorry.
