How do you hold on to love when you're 5,000 miles apart?
Tristan
I'm young and wealthy. Thanks to my workaholic, yet overbearing father.
But I'd rather get my hands dirty with the construction crews than live behind a desk.
Doing deals in L.A. is not my idea of fun.
Until a quiet drink one night leads me to one Ginny Peterson.
She's a paralegal. Sassy, smart, and curves in all the right places.
I'd love to get to know her better.
A lot better.
But I'm heading back to the UK in two short days.
Ginny
I thought I had it all.
Good job. Great friends, and a loving boyfriend.
Until I caught him with the vixen from the fifth floor.
Now, I am so done with men.
Until my BFF drags me out to drown my sorrows. And he walks in.
Tall, tattooed, and an English accent that curls my toes whenever he speaks.
But what's the point? He leaves town in a couple of days.
It was fun hangin' with him, but I know it's over before it began.
Tristan and Ginny have to fight hell and high water, Just to get their hands on each other.
Living in different parts of the world. Battling the distance across the Atlantic.
They're not going to let anything come between them.
Despite everything and everyone that tries.
The Oceans Apart trilogy is a steamy, flirty and fun read.
A long-distance love affair between a British billionaire and his American girl with no cheating, no cliffhanger, and a happy-ever-after.

Sweet Tristan
This series is amazing! I love the chemistry that these guys have. Tristan makes Gimmy feel so beautiful even if she is a little curvy. They both have crazy exe's Brad in my eyes is the Worst!! There is lots of love and drama in this series, if that's what you like you will love this box set! -
Can a love survive when you're oceans apart - Ginny in LA and Tristan in London. A chance meeting happens between the two when Tristan only has 2 days left in this country and the chemistry is immediate. Lots of drama and suspense. Well written with great characters. My only negative is a little too much repetition for my taste. Quite a bargain as this is the complete series of six books and almost 700 pages. Quite a steamy read that you will love. I purchased this book but also received a reader copy from the author. I voluntarily chose to review it.

The book started out with promise, and the plot seemed interesting. Long distance relationship with a rich boy who has problems. Then it goes downhill from there. I skimmed a lot of the book tbh and I only read the whole series due to the fact I kept wanting to give it a chance to get better. But I have to make my criticisms known, starting with the fact that the storytelling is all over the place, never mind that a lot of things don’t make sense. Things seem to just happen out of nowhere with no lead up or introduction to the events.
She just jumps from one thing to the next and doesn’t introduce or elaborate on important events in the book. There seems to be no structure to the plot or the story and the characters personalities seem to fluctuate and change with each book. Then suddenly we hear from Kari - one of the sub characters of the story - for a few chapters in one book and never hear from her again. Plans don’t get followed through and the whole thing is confusing and irritating to follow.
I found it really hard to read and I skimmed a lot of stuff just so I could finish the book. I’m really disappointed with this series. There was so much potential in the beginning, and I’m so gutted about the way it was told. I would not recommend to a friend... #sorrynotsorry -
Books 2-6
It's an average rich boy meets average girl, falls in love and problems start because she isn't who he should marry according to family. They live in separate countries and the ex girlfriend is trying to get back with him and her (Ginny) ex boyfriend is a crazy stalker.
The dad interferes in his sons life. There's a few moments that made me life. The cliffhanger is what keeps me reading to find out what happens next. It's not a bad book, but don't expect anything to keep you glue to every word. I've skimmed a lot of this book...I mean a lot!!
The books kept getting boring and boring to me. Ginny and Tristan fit elope and have a bigger easing later keeping the elopement a secret. Vanessa crashes the wedding and days Tristan's dad is a murderer. Ginny gets pregnant with twins....after that I stopped reading. The first book was actually good but these just went downhill, one after another. -
So I read the series, it's just ok, not one that I will tell my book buddies they will just have to read. hey, I love sex in the books but this one was full of it, every time these two got together they were getting it on, every time and I found myself scanning the last book in the series to find out the big company scandal cause I just had to know. It was just OK.

Way to long
I really loved the story and the drama, twists and turns, but this book could have been a lot shorter and a lot less repetitive. The characters were well developed and relatable. The storyline was fantastic. There was just so much repetition that I wound up skimming and even skipping parts of it. -
I Wanted To
I wanted to REALLY like this series but unfortunately it never got there for me. It was enjoyable, but I didn't need the constant reminder that she was a big girl. Why couldn't she just be??? -
This is your basic romance story. There are gaps in the story which made it hard to read sometimes. If those gaps had not been so obvious, then I could have loved this series.

These books seemed to drag in places but it was an ok read

Part 1 Review: This story started out slow after the half way point it picked up. Most of the interaction between Ginny and Tristan is by email, text, and skype etc. Considering the book name this is understandable. I think Amanda Heartley handled this pretty well. In my opinion there were hints of bad things to come. This does end in a cliffhanger. I did feel the tension and the build up for the end.
Part 2 Review: Oceans Apart #2 starts where 1 left off. In my opinion this book was not as good as the first one. I found this book dragged and was slow moving, It didn't have the suspense that part 1 had. I felt somethings were not addressed from part 1. The biggest one for me is the knife and what happened to it. I have a feeling we will meet up with Brad again.
Part 3 Review: This book is steamier than the first two. There was a lot more drama than the first two. The rich and pampered needs to stand up to his father and put him in his place. Tristan can be a real jerk and he doesn't seem to get it. If I was Ginny I would give him a swift kick in the pants. Not if Tristan and Ginny will ever get a happily ever after.
Part 4 Review: Not sure what was in the email at the end, but I have an idea. The long distance thing is grating my last nerve. The other thing is Tristan's indecision in life. I thought things were changing then he is back to London. I'm interested in where part 5 goes.
Part 5 Review: I liked Kari in the first four books, this one not so much. Kari is a lush and not a good friend at all. Ginny needs to learn to stand up to people, Kari included. In my opinion Tristan is very selfish and needs to stand up for himself. Not really liking either Ginny or Tristan. I will finish this series because I'm this far.
Part 6 Review: I'm glad this series is over. Tristan and Ginny just grated my last nerve. There were no surprise for the ending. I saw it coming from a mile away. This series had potential but but I found Tristan and Ginny to whiny.
In my opinion this series is a little slow moving and it was mediocre. -
Book One
Ginny thought she has everything until she caught her boyfriend cheating on her. Done with men she put herself into her work and concentrated on it. Her friend talks her into going out one night and this is when she meets Tristan. They connect instantly and before long she offers to show him around town. They spend what time he has left in town together. When Tristan leaves they make plans to continue talking to each other so they can see if what they have is something that can be more. Neither is rushing due to bad relationships they've been in before. Will be separated end things between them? Can they make it work or will it fizz out?
Book Two
Ginny and Tristan are still trying to see if their relationship will work. Ginny decides to surprise Tristan by going to see him. However she is the one surprised when she finds him with his ex. Tristan is conflicted because his family is forcing him to choose between them and Ginny. When his mother visits Ginny things are shaky between them and after hearing some things she leaves for home. Will Tristan defy his family and go after Ginny? Will Ginny give him a chance after everything that happened in London?
Book Three
Ginny and Tristan really love one another but other people keep butting into their relationship. When Tristan's father issues the ultimatum Ginny leaves to return home and her job. Tristan is torn between his family and his own happiness. When someone tries to take over the company his family owns Tristan has to step up to help out. Will Tristan and Ginny finally get their happily ever after? Can his family see that they are a good match?
This is an amazing collection that will captivate you from beginning to end. This is a well written and very entertaining collection. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

I found this book through a Face Book page for people looking for books they read but couldn't remember. It sounded good so I searched on Kindle. Once I finished the first book and then realized there were six books in the series I searched out and found the box set and proceeded to read them one after the other. Basically I read the 90% of the first book last night, finished it this morning and read the rest of the series today.
I really enjoyed the series. I loved Ginny, she's funny and smart. Elise came across as very strong. Mike and Kari were great supporting characters. Tristan was a good male lead as well.
I wish Ginny was made a bit stronger of a character. I thought as sweet as she was, she was a bit of a pushover some of the time.
Beside some of the laughs from Kari and Mike, there were a lot of sweet romance and most definite very heated scenes between Tristan and Ginny.
All in all I really enjoyed the series. -
THIS👏 WAS👏 TERRIBLE 👏!
The first book had merit; it was interesting, it was cute. Then it just went downhill from there. The author has zero sense of time; how long it takes to do something, how long it takes to travel from point a to point b, etc. For instance, her pregnancy happened in a matter of a few chapters, but other plot lines were drawn out for forever. For both Kari and Ginny to have gone to law school, they're idiots who apparently know nothing about the law and how it works. While Ginny and Tristan may have gotten to know each other in the first book, it stopped on subsequent books and was just a lot of cringe-worthy sex scenes. Like why were they surprised she got pregnant?!?! They NEVER wore a condom. Storylines picked up and just dropped off out of nowhere. Author randomly kept throwing in new plot points to draw things out but tied them up messily in the end. Just a poorly written plot overall. Read the first book and skip the rest. -
Ginny had thought she was the luckiest woman around, having everything she could ever want – but then she caught her boyfriend cheating. When a friend talks her into going out, she meets Tristan who is leaving in a few days to return home to London. They decide to keep in touch and explore their feelings from a distance, and find they have something worthwhile in each other.
Tristan and Ginny have many obstacles to deal with along the way, and in this collection, you have their whole story to explore. You won’t want to miss this one. Grab your copy and enjoy a good story and fantastic characters. -
Tristan and Ginny have so much love for each other and so many obstacles to climb. But when push comes to shove, the entire family gets involved. I read book one then bought the box set so I could read one following the other. And I was not disappointed. I'm not an erotica reader so I tend to skip over the really heavy stuff and these books were loaded. Besides that, the books together are a masterpiece of writing. Ms. Heartley brings heart and soul to these books along with some terrific sleuthing that's not to be missed. I loved these books!

This is a terrific boxset. I read the first book in the series a while back then read and purchased the set and loved it. The characters, Tristan and Ginny, were so much in love and it was a pleasure to read. So many uphill battles but they made it. I loved that everyone came together and helped. The stories were well written and entertaining to read.

Pretty good
T was your typical clueless male with a good heart and G was actually ended up being a very bright women. Liked his friend Mike, not such much her friend Keri i mean till her not to tell him about the blackmail but she does with a little 🍷. Enjoy her writing style lots of laughs tears and gross food combination.. -
This is a romantic and entertaining story. Tristan and Ginny met after she caught her bf cheating on her. There's an instant attraction, but Tristan lives in England, and he was days away from going home. They exchange numbers and keep in touch, wondering if there's anything between them that would make a good relationship. I enjoyed reading this and getting to know the characters.

Great story line
Loved this series.
It was a great series with highs and small lows. Packed to the brim. Great reading. Ginny and me T were good characters and I am glad Mummy came round in the end too.
