I really enjoyed this story though for all that there was setup here it definitely could have gone on to be a longer one.

Akabane has just been told by the girl that he liked that she doesn't like him but a different boy, Moriya. Angry at Moriya he is thinking about him when he accidentally bumps into him. Moriya is also thinking about Akabane......for other reasons. At this moment of both thinking about each other so intensely they get sucked into a different world by magic, where monsters are chasing a girl whose magic power can be boosted by people from our world 'swapping bodily fluids'. Because the two were thinking about each other so intensely the spell matched them as a good pair to be swapping fluids all the old time, so now Moriya and Akabane are stuck making out anytime Marion needs to save them with magic- which is often because she is currently being hunted.

With so much kissing the relationship between Moriya and Akabane begins to develop pretty quickly. This is rather to be expected, but there were so many points when they story really could have been expanded that it's too bad Hoshino didn't decide to jump on them. By the end of the book some pretty major and quite potentially life changing decisions are made by both of the main characters, but the work of their relationship is really something that tweaks your heart strings. It is also left open ended with a lot of work to do, so it's a story that could be expanded upon from there (once again, too bad it's a single volume).

The two ending stories are one that is a side story and one that is a bonus. The side story is entirely unrelated to the main and has a way longer and more detailed sex scene if you were missing that from the main scene. The bonus after story of Moriya and Akabane touches on how their relationship is progressing in that dangerous world and is both hot and very sweet. It also ends on a unexpectedly hilarious note that works well with the humour of what could be an overly serious story. Very enjoyable and helped to wrap the whole thing together.

I've always liked Lily Hoshino's stories. This was a great and entertaining read! The plot is fairly formulaic and the pacing is quite fast, but the (expected and anticipated) plot twist was satisfyingly presented. It was a new take on a standard story. If you're looking for a quick read that's silly, cute, and fun, but not full of drama, this is definitely a story you should read.

This was a lot cuter than I thought it would be. Still not a fan of reading about kids in school…in a romantic sense. It would have been much better if they were older.

First... I gotta say, Moriya was a stud XD Haha!! Even in manga the hot guys are gay ;-)

Though who knows if Moriya is actually gay. This is the first yaoi manga I've read. And for a genre that likes to have males be in sexual relationships... I was actually surprised that a number of the boys actually looked and acted more like girls. There was the main story with the two characters on the cover - but within that story there was another hinted at relationship between two men, and I honestly thought there was a misprint for the character Earl. He has very long hair, done up in a slightly feminine pony tail, but he also has very long eyelashes. Not that men can't have these things, but in the comic book world of drawing, there are certain things artists do to differentiate the sexes. Even Earl's frame suggested female. Then, in the super short story Pheromone at the end... the "bottom" character was also very girlish in his look and behavior and he was referred to having been giving off pheromones... I thought only females had pheromones? Though I'm not a pheromone expert so I wouldn't entirely know. But anyway, perhaps this is very common in yaoi manga to have one male look and act feminine (as I haven't read any before) but it almost seems contradictory for the genre. But as I said, I have no experience with this genre so perhaps its an intentional thing I don't know about.

ANYWAY - back to the story. For a one shot, it wasn't bad. Generally these short stories tend to feel rather rushed, and at one point, this one did (the sudden desire from Akabane towards Moriya seemed rather quick for me, especially because he was so against it at first), but other than that, the storyline was cute and sweet, and as I mentioned, Moriya was a stud, so that helped :-p Haha!! I'm sure fans of yaoi would enjoy this.

Marion summons Akabane and Moriya to help here with her magic in her world. To help her they need to exchange body fluids. Moriya after being injured and his body changed asked Marion to send them back. Only Akabane returns as Moriya suspects. Akabane manages to return and saves Moriya and Marion. Moriya and Akabane confess love for each other. Story ends with no real ending, only hints.
