Things are getting tough for the W.I.T.C.H. girls as problems start to pop up for all of them. Will may have to move away and then what will become of the crew?

I found this series after years of searching!! Read one of the books when I was super little. The nostalgia is crazy! Love these comics

Ah, W.I.T.C.H. So much of my childhood was spend obsessing over the series. The books. The comics. The cartoon. The merchandise. You name it I was into it.
So why only the three stars if I loved it so much?
Well as time went by, I grew disinterested in the series. I went along with it mainly to see how it ended. I simply wanted to know what the final outcome was.
Surely that is not enough to merit three stars? You loved it!
I did, but that was because I was a pre-teen with very low expectations. This came before my vampire-loving period, so you can imagine what my standard was like. Don’t get me wrong, they’re not bad books – they’re simply not something I can go back to now that I’m older.
Thoroughly enjoyable at the time, but not quite so much now. -
This was an interesting part of the story, the girls are back and Cornelia is pushing everyone away to spend time with Caleb the flower. The girls are having a hard time communicating with Cornelia and also between themselves. This was an interesting tale for the last of the bad guys from Metamoor. They are also losing their powers, so they need to figure that out. Also with Will's news the girls are more divided. It was an interesting re-read and so fantastic to see all the diversity in the girls personalities. Very enjoyable.

Nesmím zapomenout ani na Elyon, i když udělala pár nesprávných rozhodnutí, samozřejmě i další důležité postavy : Věštce, Caleba, Joela, Orube, Cedrika, Matta, Luka, Erica, babičku Hay Lin....
Rozhodně to byla má nejoblíbenější dětská série, at už komixy nebo seriál. Doporučuji všem mladším slečnám. ;) -
Again.. another great instalment of the chapter book series. A lot of heartbreak and feeling moved me in this 13th Chapter book. Brilliantly told and the art style of the comic inserts beginning and end is stunning as always.

I absolutely stan the girls, they are also sick of the Prophet's bullshit. Will is still my favourite but though I love them all, Hay Lin is also really growing on me.

did I really read this or did I just read the comic inserts inside
(I only read the 3 page comic insert inside) -
5/5 stars.

A Different Path
PLOT: After the last episode WITCH have fallen apart. We see Cornelia has turned bitter and shut herself off from the rest of them. Because she's lost not only her best friend (Elyon) she's grieving over the loss of Caleb. Taranee wonders what will happen to them now? While Will tries to get Cornelia a friendship gift to let her see they still care. Will's mom drops the bombshell on her that they're moving again. Frustrated with Will's changes, she begs her to tell what's going on if it's not Heather field. Strange things start happening around Taranee and we see a mysterious man is behind it all. While helping Irma undo a transformation she's placed on herself to impress a former love interest (and due to a lack of her powers vanishing) Taranee receives a call. The caller tells her he's holding her brother (Peter) hostage and to meet him in half an hour at the mall. Now it's up to the rest of WITCH to save Taranee from whatever fate Mr. Mystery has in store for her and the rest of WITCH. But uh uh it looks like Irma's power isn't the only one on the fritz.
MY THOUGHTS: Interesting! Hay Lin's grandmother says there's something dark in WITCH. Do we get to see it? That has me intrigued & I'd like to see an issue where for a moment they all turn to the dark side. Although I do agree with the Oracle in this. I'm just a little bit disappointed because the girl (Cornelia) has lost not only her best friend but her guy. Long distance friendships are one thing. You miss the person like crazy but communication with them is always doable. Cornelia can visit Elyon. Elyon can visit Cornelia (when things get settled after the battle). They didn't say there was no rule against this. Losing Caleb on the other hand well... You just never know what it's like to lose a love until it actually happens to you. They act like they understand. Will shows a little compassion but truth be told it's nothing they can do. A kitten was a nice gesture, but it just isn't a substitute. I feel Cornelia's pain so much right now. Didn't have that many thoughts about Frost's (return?) I don't really remember him in any other comic due to the fact that I'm just now reading them in order. He went down quick and that's about all you can say. I will say that I don't really like Taranee's mother in these because she's holding on to a prior mistake Nigel made and not letting it go. And like Taranee points out she's supposed to be better than that. She's a JUDGE! She even says even though he's innocent, friendly, and cute I don't like him. Ok so WHY don't you like him? Because he used to hang with a gang that he doesn't even associate with anymore? As far as I can tell she doesn't have a reason. I hope (ok well had I been a mother) that I would never have been that judgmental to someone who didn't deserve that. Especially my daughter's boyfriend (boyfriends). As for WITCH, I have no doubt they'll work this thing right on out and get their powers back by the next issue and Will (will) convince her mom not to move without telling her secret. Which I wish for once they'd break from tradition and have her tell her. Really don't understand that unspoken rule for magicals. And on just a random note Taranee looks prettier without her glasses. I always wondered why they made her the most unattractive in her fairy form with her hair flying everywhere and then the short hair and the braid going down the side. They could have just given her short hair and long sideburns like T-BOZ back in the day and it would have been a much better look. But she's a little cuter in the images where she's late for school.

I used to like these series. Now, I don't think they're so good anymore. I got up to number 12 or something like that, and they've gone up to #26 or something... and they're still coming out!! I'm not really interested into them anymore, but I used to be.

I loved this series! All of the different girls had their own individual personalities that made the series more enjoyable to read. Also, of course the cool magical powers was a plus. I loved the character relationships and adventures the girls got themselves into.
