Ned and the Nine Nasty Nosepickers Reviews

Well it is a very short book, 25 pages.
But packed in those pages are some smart things for kids to learn.
First, are illustrations showing how to tie a square knot. It is a great knot and everyone should learn how to tie one.
Second, it tells a story about people banding together for the great good. Retrieving a bike that had fallen over a cliff.
Given that it is only 25 pages it is packed with good things.

I won this book in a Giveaway here on Goodreads and my review is my honest opinion about the book.

I went into this book thinking that there was going to be a lesson on not picking your nose or when you should pick your nose and was surprised when it had nothing to do with it. It's actually about a group of kids that go on an adventure and their noses play a big part of it.

The book wasn't bad which is why I gave it a 3 but it was not what I was expecting.

Equipped with their secret olfactory tools, nothing is a challenge for the Nosepicker Crew! 1st to 3rd grade reader, and is a quicker read for more accomplished readers in National Reading goals of 20 minutes per night. Would like to see this theme expanded for a longer reader series to expand individual character's personalities. Thanks for the cute T-shirt gift! It will all be wrapped as a Christmas gift this year.

I won this book on Goodreads Giveaway and this is my honest review.

My young kids giggled at some of this book but I found it to be an overall distasteful use of humor. Some of the illustrations by the artist were great but it appears liberties were taken using internet pictures likely without the permission of the people in them.

A cute story about being careful, with a bit of humor and instructions on how to tie a square knot thrown in.

Pleasantly surprised by this cute read.
