Half demon, Alice grew up in the Dark Moth compound and now the only family she's ever known wants to kill her!

Alice's sheltered life has been nothing more than training and slaying underling demons in preparation for becoming a full-fledged Dark Moth, the only thing she's ever wanted.

Determined to slay her sire, she agrees to the ominous Trial of Three, which sends Alice down a rabbit hole where secrets about her heritage are revealed. She isn't happy about them either. Nor are the members of the Dark Moth Society. The leaders order Alice's extermination.

Personally, Alice can hardly make sense of her life. Kade kissed her passionately and then told her they couldn't be together. But he keeps showing up, taunting her with unfulfilled promises. It's enough to drive anyone mad.

Desperate for something she can control, she focuses on slaying her sire and enlists Professor Pops to help her save the Society and succeed in the Trials. When all is said and done, her greatest hope is that the man she loves will still be around to love her back.

Alice Fights Demonland Reviews

I really enjoyed the second book. With every chapter, there’s new information. This is a quick read, and everything is fast paced. But, I really enjoyed it. We get to learn more about Heathcliff and his family. New characters join the story, like a shapeshifting dragon! Alice learns more about her life and makes new friends. She figures out who the real enemies are and fights for her future. She learns who she can trust. Why is she so in love with Kade? There’s something special about him that gets revealed, but honestly it wasn’t that much of a surprise. Since this series is so short, there’s not much mystery. It wasn’t hard to figure the secrets out. It was too easy to guess things, and it just seemed like Alice should’ve been smarter to figure those things out. Or maybe she just didn’t want to believe them. There’s an innocence about her that you just have to love. She’s part-demon, but there’s something extra about her that makes her special. She really is unique and I enjoyed learning more about her character.

Alice Fights Demonland, book 2 in Rashelle Workman's Demonland series, takes Alice on a wild ride fighting for her life and for those she loves. Alice's character really expands as she discovers herself, fights for the lives of others and rides a roller coaster of emotions when faced with an impossible decision. The storyline continues to be fast-paced and full of twists, danger, violence and romance. The supporting characters continue are endearing and continue to grow. I can't wait for book 3!

Better than book one. Still moves a little too quickly but I think that's to be expected with a short novella.

Alice is kick ass but she needs more depth and needs to trust and lead more. Loving the cross over with blood and slow characters albeit it small.

Kade is a little lacking and you can't really tell why she feels anything for him based on the little we see of their interactions.

    Enjoying this adventure

While there still seems to be some issues with grammar and typos, it isn't as bad as the first book. It bothers be slightly, since they aren't so bad that I'm able to continue reading these books, but I do hope it isn't a continuing thing. It really is the only complaint I have of the books. This story is amazing!

Book 2 of the trilogy and so, so good! Yet again another book that I could not stop reading! Interesting characters and their stories kept me on the edge of my seat as I was reading to see what would happen next. New additional characters in this book made me want to know their stories as well! I highly recommend any of Rachelle Workman's books!
