When you’re a paramedic, damsels in distress are a dime a dozen.
You save them, you slay them, you kick them to the curb.
But Sofia’s different.
Shot in the head and left for dead, she has no one.
She can’t remember anything, much less the as$hole who did this to her.
I know it’s not my duty to sit by her bed twenty-four seven, but I’ll be damned if I’m going to leave her alone.
Someone tried to hurt her before and failed. Screw them if they think they’re getting a second chance.
She’s mine now, which means I’m going to protect her no matter what.
Even if I have to bring back the inner soldier I’ve tried so hard to forget.

Buckle up, peeps, it’s about to get hot and heavy in the hospital ward! Life Support is a full length, standalone bad boy romance with plenty of steam. There’s no cheating, no cliffhangers and a breathless, guaranteed HEA. Don’t miss out!

Life Support (American Heroes, #1) Reviews

    OMG…
This book is totally something else!
It is enthralling, captivating, all consuming from the very first page on.
On the one hand there is this thrilling crime story, a real thriller at times, fast-paced, exciting, that kept me on the edge from the beginning to the end…
On the other hand there is this sweet love story with this off the charts chemistry between Sofia and Ethan that almost set my ereader on fire and made me feel all warm and fuzzy…
The discrepancy between these two contrasting scenarios makes this novel so extraordinarily phenomenal!
This is another page turner by Ms. Kade. Promised!

    Ethan and Sofia

What starts out as a normal day for Ethan becomes not so normal. He helps a beautiful woman who has been shot in the head. He saved her life by bringing her back to life. Now she has no idea who she is. When the hospital staff finds a necklace in a pocket they found out her name is Sofia,. Now the story unfolds. What has Ethan has gotten himself in to?

    2.5 stars rounded up.

Meh. More action/adventure with tons of sex than relationship-building. Neither of the characters had much depth.

Life Support by Teagan Kade a five-star read that will keep you going. I adore Teagan Kade and will read anything she writes, but this one was just on another level, Ethan blew me away, I know he’s all yummy and stuff, but he is also deeper and more dramatic than you see on the surface, there are more layers to that man than an average onion. Sophia is so much more than you see as well, she isn’t just victim with bullet wound she will make you care about her in more ways than you can imagine. Once again Teagan Kade sets the pages alight.

I loved this book! Its starts off with a bang, literally. Sofia gets shot in the head and is found under a bridge barely clinging to life. Ethan, her knight in utility pants and a mobile mini hospital, comes to her rescue. What starts off as a weird pull on Ethan's part to keep her safe, soon leads something altogether different. I want to tell you more, but I won't ruin the experience for you. This book is fast paced, suspenseful and filled with an insta-love that will keep you reading until the very end. I voluntarily received an ARC copy of this book and am leaving an honest review.

3 - 3.5 Stars - I absolutely loved the first part of this book. Ethan and Sophia’s connection was sweet and made me adore both of them. Sex was hot. THEN the drama began regarding Sophia’s past that she couldn’t remember and it changed the tone of the book too much. What really got me was when their lives were in so much danger and she was shot (again) they’re having hot sex. 😑 This book wasn’t for me.

Drama, danger, suspense, mystery, twists and turns, betrayal, off-the-charts chemistry, love... everything I love in a well written, fast-paced, action-packed, steamy romance.

I volunteered to review an advance reader copy of this book.

Ethan is a paramedic and when he is sent on a call he finds Sofia who has been shot in the head and left for dead. Sofia survives but has total memory loss. How and what happens next makes one excellent book! Highly recommend!

Loved Ethan & Sophia's story. I couldn't get enough of this one. Wonderful characters. Such a great book. I'm voluntarily leaving an honest review for a copy of the book via an arc program.

I’m only giving this one 2 stars because the beginning was good but after 5 chapters, it was terrible. I did not like it.
Ethan is former Army guy and now is a paramedic that finds Sofia one day with a bullet to the head. He ends up saving her and everything goes downhill from there.

This was boring and 90% of the chapters were all sex. Like full chapter of just sex. I love hot scenes in books but this one went a little overboard. Also, after Ethan saved her life all he did was focus on her, like completely. He left his job for her (I mean, I figured since he followed her drama all over the country), even though there were no mention about that.
Sofia was also weird. She had amnesia but she was an “important” person that was being chased because her choices. She started to remember stuff later and that’s when everything happened.

I don’t know, this was just not good. I skimmed most of it because it was all sex, all the time, despite whatever was going on (people trying to kill them). Just nope.

This one was a good book. I love Teagan Kade style of writing and always her HEA!!

When Ethan and Sophia met for the very first time you could tell there was a connection between them. I love the fact that Ethan felt he was Sophia‘s protector. Only to realize in the end she is a strong woman. The whole Russian mafia thing was kind of dragging on a little too long. It just didn’t seem like Ethan and Sophia could hide in so many places. But in the end I was glad to see Sophia‘s father get what he deserved.

In the Epilogue I was glad to see we got a specific amount of time into the future. I was glad to see Vanessa back and in the Ethan and Sophia‘s life. I was only hoping for the name of their son.

What a rollercoaster! I loved this book. I was basically at the edge of my seat for majority of it. Well worth the read!

The plot was spot on. So much romance and danger. An adrenaline rush for sure.

The characters were fabulous. The H is so protective, loving, and he never gives up. The h is a sweetheart when she has amnesia but a total fighter when she remembers everything.

    Much deserved HEA.

    Okay read

Although this book was a little predictable, it did have it's moments. I just felt some things were very unrealistic. Like Sofia being shot in the head and in a coma, yet going home and shopping for clothes, then going dancing a few days later. I've had seven surgeries and I've never felt like anything but going to bed when I came home from the hospital.

Ethan is pretty hot but their relationship goes way too fast for me. I had to keep reading to find out what was going on with Sofia. Very predictable ending, but I loved the Epilogue.

On the run from the mob, Sofia ends up under a bridge with a gunshot to the head but she is lucky to have been attended to by paramedics where Ethan sees she is special and helps her to recover even though she has lost her memory. A forgotten friend appears to help her or is she the the ratting her out to the mob. When she regains her memory the adventure gets a whole lot dangerous.

    Pulse Rating Fantastic.

Wow!! This book was incredible from start to finish. It was a non stop action, passion epic journey. Loved everything about it. The chemistry between Sofia and Ethan was beautiful, what people dream of and the story was fast paced and extremely well written. Would definitely recommend reading this.

  • Kimberly Martin

Such a great book. Characters are well developed and the thrill factor was definitely there. When you think you've figured something out just be prepared because you really haven't. Definitely would recommend and read again.

    Life Support

High action and high adrenaline are all over this book. I loved how Ethan took care of Sofia. It was fun reading his transformation as well as uncovering her story full of surprises. Very well written.

  • Rony

    Not bad

Good story with nice characters. I enjoyed the fact that Sophia was a strong character of her own which was a pleasant surprise as these line of stories usually describe the h as a total dependent of the H.

  • C.Gard

    Lackluster

I enjoyed the idea of this book but the execution didn't do it for me. It was too fast paced and lacked believability because of it. If this was a longer book and delved more into everything, I think it would have been a lot better

  • Amber

This was definitely not what I was expecting and I loved it

  • Pamela Brown

    Hot hot hot

A good story with good charcters. You lose yourself in the uncertainty of memories that seems to be in hiding.
