Hood Luvin' From A White Boy 2 Reviews

Not As Good As The First One
Okay so my issues with this books stems from 1. The clear lack of editing and sloppy writing and 2. The plot was all over the place and predictable as hell. I can’t believe the difference between this book and book 1. It’s almost as if two different people wrote them. I was so shocked that the book felt like it was written in such a haste that it came out sloppy. There were grammatical errors laced throughout the book and it was written in such a conversational tone that it was hard to follow. The first book was clearly defined in the perspectives but this time around it felt like the perspectives blended together and would change over the course of a few lines. The writing just didn’t flow well. The plot was SOOOO predictable. I wasn’t surprised by anything and I felt as though a lot was done to make the plot super convenient for the goals of the author so characters were made to do things that honestly didn’t make sense. One character literally changes personalities at the end of the book and it makes no sense. I’m on the fence about finishing the series but they’re such short books that I may just go for it. -
DIAMOND AND JOE DAYS ARE NUMBERED I SWEAR AND HER HUSBAND IS A NUT ... I HOPE MAHOGANY LISTENS TO HER HEART AND STOP OVERTHINKING EVEN THO ITS EASY TO DO JAVO IS ALL HERS .. I JUST KNOW PART 3 GONNA BE THE BEST BECAUSE EVERTHING WILL BE COMING FULL CIRCLE... BEYOND GLAD GERMAINE STEPPED UP TO THE PLATE

Charles truly is delusional and needed to face the facts that the only one that destroyed his marriage was the one he took vows with. Hopefully Javo is alright and all the drama will be eliminated. Diamond got on my nerves because she acted as if she couldn't let go when she already had a situation. Poor Justine. I wish she was able to get the closure she needed but I have an idea of the twisted sob that would do everything that was done to her. Cheryl seems sweet and I hope she realizes her daughter has issues. I was so happy for Mahogany and Javo. Things were going so well for them and I wish Javo had been honest ahead of time. It was long overdue for Germaine to show he really loved Javo. I can only imagine the twists that are waiting but I sure can't wait to get part 3.

I want and need more!!
This is crazy! I love Javo, he’s such a sweet guy. Mahogany has been hurt so many times it’s sad. Just when things in her life was coming together, her comes Diamond old miserable ass!! Joe is crazy as crap & Sharon Ann is plain old stupid! -
Just Keeps Getting Better
Javo is really going through it. Diamond and her double life is just too much. The cliffhanger left me wanting to know. So glad I discovered this completed series. -
😯 it keeps getting better and better!
Diamond is very reckless there's no telling who her baby daddy is. Joe and his wife.give me the creeps. I hope Mahogany and Javo can get over this mishap -
I was soooo entrapped by this series, i wished there was a bit more angst within the relationship just to see how they hold out but the couple stillll had me so entertained with how their relationship grew.
**same review for whole series** -
Great
Sha Jones really out did herself with this series Diamond got Charles losing his mind and trying to killed Javo I hope Javo live and make Charles look like the fool he is because Diamond doesn't know who her baby daddy is -
It definitely had me on a rollercoaster
I didn't think Charles would come that unhinged and Diamond is forgetting all about her other life chasing after Javo -
I loved how Mahogany started to come out of her shell and embrace her dark skin. I also enjoyed the relationship growth between Javo and his parents, especially his father.

Now see...
Charles is a while bitch. I mean u have all the proof that ur wife ain't s. Hey I blame it on the guy. -
Diamond is not a man's best friend!
I chose this rating because this book has it all. Romance, intrigue, sex, love betrayal, you name it it's got it. A true page turner. -

Diamond/Hillary
Things are really starting to heat up. Diamond has a weird obsession with Javo. She is losing focus on what should be important. With the way this book ended I know book 3 is going to be good. -
Whew!!!
I love me some Javo!! Mahagonny just gets on my last nerve. Diamond is crazy and her husband is a psychopath. On to book three! -

Wow! I thought part one was crazy, wait until you read part 2. I can’t wait to read part 3. -
That ending man.
I was screaming noooo!! the whole time I read the ending. Something wrong with Joe Sr he ain’t right and I think he did something to the kids and his wife’s friend. I can’t believe Diamond. She is crazy too and poor Charles...Diamond drove him to that point. I hope Javo is okay. -
Wow
That ending was crazy. Charles crazy ass should had approach his cheating ass wife. I hope he didn’t die. Sad 😞 -
Oh man why Javo??? This is actually 3 1/2 stars...
Now, we are on book 2 which was a little bit better but still not the bomb that I am expecting. I truly think one of the reason for my not go full throttle in this is because it feels like both Javo and Mahogany are just boring and just too gullible and nice and naive. I mean, I don't need the kingpin, gangster hood stories but I also don't need the "white Carlton banks either" and a little bit of in between would be soooo good right now. Instead of him saying "sweetie", he could be saying "baby or ma or shorty" and he could be a little bit aggressive where some cursing could slip out of his mouth or a punch or two, you know when Joe had pointed the gun on him, maybe a little bit of hard words since he respects his elders, or something like that...or even jack up Diamond on the wall and make promises instead of just sitting down like a sitting duck and accept everything. It's like he has not backbone or something... So yeah, it's taking me some time to actually get to the ratings but hey I am reading it still...
