Haruka: Beyond the Stream of Time, Volume 4 Reviews
-
This volume contains three stories.
- In the first one, the readers meet a little tengu that's under Yasuaki's spell. It's a really funny story too.
- In the second part, Eisen is introduced. But I think that his character is rather lame, too kind, too bland, too puppy-ish in his immediate love for Akane.
- The last story is a filler about two young people in love that the Hachiyou have to help get together.
Overall, it's a good, solid addition to the series. But maybe because I saw the anime first and I know exactly what will happen and how it'll happen - the anime followed the manga quite faithfully - this manga lacks suspense for me. It's still very much worthwhile buying though and I will definitely collect all the volumes. -
I absolutely adore reverse harem series (maybe because I secretly just want to be the center of attention). The character personalities varied for the boys which I liked and their stories were really entertaining.

Having a hard time with this series. Characters are undeveloped so much so that I forget them and then when they reappear, wonder when the appeared in the series. Please get better..(fingers crossed).
