What fabulous read!!! Exposed is the second book in the Alex Drake Series and Lexxi added more humor and some pretty f##king hot steamy scences as well!!! Holy shit I need a cold shower and a panty change! We find out about Alex's connection to Madison and here's the kicker paco is a major player as well!!! WTF!!! I loved it!!!! I adore both Madison and Alex two very different people,but their chemistry is off the charts and I just want them to be together forever!!! As a secondary character,but a major player in his own right paco is my crush!!! I won't soon forget him and Madison's sleepover!!! A guy that can rock pink fuzzy slippers and orders Chinese food and makes awesome cosmos he's a best friend for life!!! This book made me laugh and cry. Some amazing writing and the storyline just keeps getting better. Alex and Madison's story is only just getting started and I can't wait to see were their story leads. Until next time luvs💖💋

Another terrific Alex Drake novel!
The first book set the stage giving us a peek at Alex Drake and making us want more. He was so mysterious and commanding, yet vulnerable as well. He wants Madison Taylor to get to know him for 30 days before he tells her his secrets because he thinks they might scare her away and he wants her to be too involved to make it easy for her to run.
I can see his point, we already know that he has anxiety which is most likely some form of PTSD because he was in the war. That is a difficult thing to deal with especially considering she has some of the same, because she lost her brother in the same war.
Lexxi James really steps up in this book with the emotions. She shows different ways of dealing with PTSD, aside from what she included in the first book. In the first book and reinforced in this one were the self defense and tactical training courses which help to transition people from military to living at home as well as making them feel safer. Some other methods of dealing with PTSD are shown in this book but I won’t give away spoilers.
The romance between Alex and Madison also heats up in this book as they grow closer and more intimate. This book is extremely steamy and very erotic but not smutty at all. It is sizzling but definitely two people who are falling in love and expressing their affection for each other.
The supporting characters are perfect. Paco, returns as Alex’s friend and go to guy and he has a special connection with Madison so they get along great together. TRex (a.k.a. Ted and Rex, the IT guys make an appearance again), as well as some new characters. There is not a cliffhanger, but a blurb about the next book which sounds ah-mazing. I can’t wait!

And with that one thought, this is the answer we’ve all been eagerly waiting for. Exposed is the second book in the Alex Drake Duet and concludes from where Access left off. In book 1 we all fell in love with lovestruck Alex, in all his gorgeousness and sigh worthy relationship with Madison Taylor.
But his love comes at a price. Alex has secrets that he’s hesitant to disclose and has asked Madison to ultimately entrust her heart to him. Thirty days (no questions asked) to live in the moment, get to know each other with no judgement, and a grace period to woo her.
Madison was the perfect person to compliment Alex without even realising it. They share a connection of loss that comes with the price of war and the aftermath for those left behind. With the death of her brother during his military service, the struggle of PTSD is something they both have experience in.
When truths are told and secrets are revealed, I was pleasantly surprised with the turn of events and twists. This book was action packed, emotionally charged and beautifully sexy! I must give a shoutout to the secondary characters, especially Paco who I want to drink cocktails and play poker with....
“And by the way, I’m not going anywhere. You might be the guy who was a total ass to me,” at which point Alex looked away, “but you’re also the guy who gave me a chance, and cared for me like no one ever has.”

Exposed was the perfectly sublime follow up to Access. Whereas Access was more questions and vague innuendos and Alex's character was enigmatic and hard to define, Exposed was full of the exact opposite! From finally getting to see Alex's personality, his laughter, his fun side, his demons and the things that drive him to Madison and him truly being in love, this one paid you in full for reading the first one!
There were as I said, so many questions in the first book with only small clues scattered around. Exposed answers all those questions but damn, even as a really good a really good book detective, I did not see the reveals in this one coming up. Never would I have guessed. It's not that it's forced or overdone, the author did a great job of setting the characters up in the first book but she did it in a way that you really would never ever suspect the truth of the matter. And that is always a really refreshing thing for me. 99% of the time, I usually see what's coming ahead and this time there was no way in hell I could. I will say that while it was satisfying and interesting as hell to find out the true story, my heart did so bleed for one character. Their revelations really pulled at my heart and I just loved them even more than I did in the first book for everything they were and everything they did.
I also loved the inclusion of Madison's dad and the reasons why and that just added a whole other layer for me that I truly dug.
In the first book, I knew, obviously, that Alex had massive feelings for Madison and let those be known. But in this book I truly felt the love. To me, there is love and then there is LOVE. And this book they had definitely graduated to the latter.
Outside of that, there is also mystery, sabotage, misunderstanding and all the other good stuff that goes along with it. I enjoyed all of that as much as I enjoyed the romance.
Wasn't quite sure how I was going to feel about this one going in but I adored it - I loved Alex when he let down his guard, I felt for Madison's still raw part of her heart over her brother, I'm truly glad I met her dad - what a great addition, and Paco, Paco, Paco - you, my friend were just an awesome character, an awesome human being and you stole my damn heart!
So glad I took this journey and kudos to an author making her debut with this series. I wasn't quite sure if they were there yet or not with the first book but the second showed just how promising they are!
5***** Stars for throwing me for me for a loop without ever making it unbelievable and for family, no matter how unconventional - there is one you are born into and ones you choose and sometimes the latter is the more special! -

Alex Drake have found the woman of his dreams and want 30 days to prove to her who he is because of a contract/his word he gave over a decade ago. However Madison Taylor has fallen for Alex but can't let her guard completely down because of the secrets thats looming over there heads/life.
This book will take you on a tailspin it's a page turner from beginning to end. Paco is also a major part and bring life to everything he touches. He is loyal to Alex his right hand but he wants all secrets out because when he looks at Madison he's drawn to her like no other. All he wants is for Alex to do right by her.
Exposed is the 2nd book and bring the story together nicely. Due to Alex & Madison pained history only they can help each other get through it only if they are honest with each other. Remembering the penny Madison left on his desk, "These pennies aren't about luck, They about loyalty, risk, never giving up" Madison left a penny after their first date, now he beamed because he knew their family actual meaning regarding the pennies they kept. I look forward to the next journey Alex & Madison will take next, now that everything is coming together. -

Book 2 picks up where we left off from
Access. Alex is doing his absolute best to win Madison over before his 30 days are up. Yep that's right, Alex has a secret.
Madison has a hard time remembering there is something yet to be revealed and honestly I can not blame her. The hot ways Alex brings her to pleasure is to die for....I would forget my name and probably lose a few IQ points. Deemed ignorant by orgasm.
Plot was amazing! Twists.... Turns.... Shock...Suspense...Several questions are answered and loose ends were tied up, but on the horizon is a new problem no one sees coming and this is in the form of a former lover. *cue the twilight music*
Anxious to see what is next for this sexy couple!

The book hangover I know I’ll be feeling tomorrow will be so worth it. Lexxi outdid herself with the second book. The roller coaster of feels delivered. The chemistry between our leads was second to none.
The mystery that is Alex Drake and the secrets that flew off the pages had me captivated. Knowing how he felt some responsibility towards her brother Jack and what happened showed the caliber of this man. He was such a puzzle to me and trying to put the pieces together had me glued to the screen. But like all men I feel there’s more to Alex Drake.
Paco? OMG I loved his character. But hearing of his connection in this story to Jack that had me surprised. I did not see that coming. But it was also the loss and what could have been.
Ultimately it was the connection with her Dad and Alex. These two were meant to be. I’d like to think Jack knew when he met Alex there was something there. That he set Alex on the path to his sister.
Strong leads with a story that surpassed what I was expecting.
If your looking for intrigue, surprises and steam factor that is blindingly hot then you need to dive in.
I can’t wait to see where Lexxi takes me next.

I’m in love with Alex.
This book was amazing in my opinion. I held off on reading the second and first book because i assumed there would be cliff hangers. Sooo my bright idea was to wait till the author released all the books in this series and then read them. Access needs to be read first and then exposed. Both are great books. We see two couples who have faced and struggle with lost. Their romance was off the charts hots and I don’t want it to end! I recommend you reading this!!! I am in love! -
Wow, this book really brings it all together. I loved every one of the characters. Alex, Madison, Paco, Dan, Mark.
I had a feeling about some of the secrets but let me tell you there are several things that I was like “WHAT????”. IT really makes a book fun for me when I don’t figure it all out ahead of time. I tend to know what is going to happen in “mystery” type situations or “secrets” but when there is a twist I didn’t see coming, I love it!!
Christine told me I needed to read these delectable series and these first 2 books have sealed it for me and I will be reading everything to do with the ever scrumptious Alex Drake. -

I really, really loved book 1, well book 2 reveals everything about the gorgeous Alex Drake and beautiful Madison Taylor. This was an explosive good/great read for so many reasons. Besides the hot and heavy and captivating story line, PTSD is also a part of this story.
Book 1 left off with Alex asking Madison to give him 30 days to explain to her everything, after she moves in with him. Meanwhile, during those thirty days, they enjoy spending quality time and hot and heavy love scenes!!
Alex Drake is a gorgeous and mysterious man, he has a troubled past, his best friend Paco and he share a secret. Paco is a such a fun and important part of this story line. Especially since Alex, Paco and Jack, Madison's brother who passed away at war have are a part of the thrity days. This story line promises to deliver everything and more!
I loved this book, I didn't want it to end. It's so beautiful how Alex Drake has been looking for Jack's younger sister for 10 years. And, Madison Taylor is his sister, and they fall in love. Their love is passionately intense. Secrets are revealed, healing and beautiful romance that turned into a true love!! I so loved this romance.
This is the type of book that I will reread again, seductive, thrilling and again suspenseful hot read! -
Yes!!! We get answers!!
The second part of Alex Drake and Madison Taylor love story. We now know the secrets of what Alex was hiding. Not too bad and that's all I'm going to say about the secrets... You want to know then read it. Enjoy how you all comes out and what try (like myself) to figure out what the next book is going to be about...yes there is another one or should I say at least one more. Guess we all will have to wait until January 2020... Yes that long... Ugggh. I hate waiting but at least there are plenty more books out there that I want to read...lol.
If you read part one I'm sure you was annoyed at all the left open questions but be assured that you will get your answers here

Madison aveva ormai imparato a conoscere ed amare l’uomo generoso ed altruista che doveva frequentare ancora per altri trenta giorni, un uomo che aiutava il prossimo senza richiedere alcun tipo di riflettore puntato addosso. Un sexy CEO genio delle telecomunicazioni a livello mondiale che era fortemente impegnato nel sociale, e che alla scadenza del “contratto” le avrebbe raccontato tutta la verità.
La tragedia che lui e Madison condividevano non era una cosa semplice da rivelare ma era giunto il momento di farlo. Alex però non aveva previsto che qualcuno avrebbe anticipato le sue mosse divertendosi a raccontare a Madison delle stupide bugie.
E così alla sua ragazza erano sorti una serie di dubbi che lo avevano messo in cattiva luce, facendolo passare per il responsabile di un ignobile atto.
Alex si incolpava di molte cose, e nei confronti di Madison sentiva di essere in debito. Ma questo no. Non poteva accettarlo e avrebbe fatto il possibile per dimostrare la sua innocenza.
🖋️In questo secondo volume della serie tutti i prezzi del puzzle andranno al loro posto e finalmente scopriremo la strana ragione per cui Alex è rimasto colpito e affascinato da Madison non appena i suoi occhi si sono posati su di lei, quando ha avvertito quella familiarità che lo ha spinto a volerla nella Drake Global Industries.
🖋️I personaggi secondari sono ben caratterizzati e interessanti. Mi è piaciuto molto il personaggio di Paco. L’autrice ha messo a nudo le sue fragilità ma anche la sua forza, perché nonostante avverta ogni giorno la mancanza di una persona a lui cara, non si sente in realtà mai solo.
Anche il padre di Dan mi è piaciuto, soprattutto per la mentalità aperta e per il buon cuore.

I was bored reading this. I felt no connection with the characters and the big secret (which is the only reason I continued ) was anticlimactic and I was like that’s it? I will not be reading book#3.

This author gave me a book that I could get lost in. I enjoyed the storyline, the characters, and the mystery. I highly recommend this author. -
I soooo needed to read the 2nd book. I needed to find out what the secreat was.
Madison finds out what Alex was hidding. But instead of running away, she decides to find the truth and help Alex face the past.
At the end they get ther happily ever after.

Holy shit!!!!! I waited with bated breath for this book and I was not disappointed! The story is emotional and intense and I am in love with Paco. Her characters grab you and don’t let go until Lexxi is done with you. If you like Access you need to read Exposed now!

Man mano che la storia procede acquista un altro significato, non mi aspettavo assolutamente che prendesse una piega così complicata e artefatta.
La convivenza crea un legame e una conoscenza più approfondita che delinea meglio il carattere dei protagonisti.
Lui ha dei segreti e demoni oscuri che lo perseguitano, gli attacchi di panico frequenti ne sono la conseguenza. È molto bravo a circoscrivere il problema, lavorando molto, andando a correre e creandosi una routine da perfetto maniaco del controllo.
Lei è sveglia, un’attenta osservatrice a cui non sfuggono i turbamenti del suo ragazzo, anche perché non è messa meglio di lui. L’ansia l’accompagna dalla morte del fratello, una ferita che non si è mai chiusa ed è un ricordo doloroso.
Paco è il fidato tuttofare di Alex e personaggio di spicco in tutta la vicenda; mi è piaciuto particolarmente per l’allegria che sprigiona e quel pizzico di follia che lo caratterizza.
Dan, il papà carismatico di Madison, è un’altra presenza importante ed è stato una vera sorpresa.
Alla fine vengono date tutte le risposte e mi chiedo che altro potrà succedere, visto che mancano altri due libri al termine della serie. Adesso son proprio curiosa! -

This is A Continuation from the first book so you must Read it first since it picks up from ACCESS.
That said, EXPOSED (second book) has all the feels and the TWISTS AND TURNS INTO the UNKNOWN that this Rollercoaster ride was Phenomenal!!
It was an Suspenseful thriller of Epic proportions and I'm NOT GOING TO SPOIL Anything for this is a DEFINITELY MUST READ SERIES! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 -
Exposed: An Alex Drake Novel (The Alex Drake Series Book 2)
What to say about this book. It starts off exactly where Access left off. I would highly encourage you to read this series in order so that you have the background needed. Alex has convinced Madison to give him 30 days and he will reveal his secrets. I'm sure he's hoping that she will be so invested in him in that time, that she won't let what he has to tell her end the relationship. We learn so much more about Alex in this book, and Paco too! The chemistry between Alex and Madison is still off the charts, and who wouldn't want a boyfriend like Alex. I'd love one, and I'm sure he is many people's book boyfriend. There are more twists and turns in this than I anticipated. Treating and dealing with PTSD is touched on. Madison's dad is met, and he may or may not know Alex - you need to read to find out. There are some steamy scenes, so if you don't like them, it may not be the book for you. I loved Access. This one I fell more in love with Alex and Paco. I can't wait to read Burn to see what else is in store for Madison, Alex and Paco. I LOVED the ending, but no spoilers will be given away by me. -
Exposed is the 2nd book in the Alex Drake series, which means that YOU MUST READ Access (Book 1) FIRST! I do believe that everything is bigger in this book, as the twists & turns are really out of control in the very best ways. That means that I'm dropping f-bomb after f-bomb as I devour it, and I can't even say crap about anything because spoilers seriously suck. Alex & Madison are hot & heavy with a side of relationship, and people aren't happy about that. And people who aren't happy always try to reveal secrets to upset others, which may or may not have happened. Anyway, Alex's secrets are out now, and HOLY HELL! I DID NOT expect what I got, and thankfully, in the aftermath, I really got more on Paco as well, who I'm totally in love with, along with Alex. Now, it seems like things are settled for now, but it looks like there's more coming since the brilliant Lexxi James gave a description of a new book after Exposed ends, and I'm here for it! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I am so happy this book was out already after I finished Access hahaha. I don't know what I would have done if I would have had to wait to find out what happened next.
Exposed is a page tuner for sure.. from beginning to end. I felt this book really tied everything together from the first book. I loved reading this book and enjoying Alex and Madison get closer in their relationship. (I love Alex, he's such a mysterious Alpha and thats just HOT.) There were some twists and turns that I did not see coming. I love when Im left in suspense too until the end. It makes for such a more enjoyable read.
I gotta say I wouldn't mind seeing even more of Paco :) Great character!! I liked him in book 1 but I fell in love here haha..
Just like in Access I flew through the book and then was bummed to see the end come so quickly. I can't wait to see where Burned will take us. -
I'm in love with Alex !!! Picking up from book 1 - we see Madison and Alex continue their journey with this crazy 30 day contract before Alex will tell Madison everything. This is a rollercoaster of a journey for both Alex and Madison, with Alex's link to Madison's brother finally being revealed. There are a lot of twists and turns which keep you guessing until it all finally comes together. Can't wait for book 3 !!

I loved reading Exposed: An Alex Drake Novel. It is a fast paced easy read. This series will keep you on the edge of your seat. Seeing the hurdles Alex and Madison will have to jump through to get the happy ending they both deserve.
I'm in love with Alex. I'm guessing that I'm not the only warm blooded female reader, who finds him completely irresistible. After I read Access, I couldn't wait for Exposed. I'm excited to read Burned in the near future. -
I absolutely loved this second book in the Alex Drake series. We find out in this one just how intertwined Alex and Madison's lives truly are and the twists and turns will shock you. I read this book in one sitting because I could not put it down. I can not wait for the next one to see what shocking turn of events will take place. Hurry up 2020!
