Miro's notebooks, letters, and interviews reveal the work and life of a brilliant artist revered for his uncanny expression of the subconscious.
Joan Miró Reviews
-
Great collection of the artist’s letters and inner thoughts. It’s important for me to read how creative people think and this scratched that itch.
-
Very insightful book about Miro and his development as an artist.
Reading this provides another layer of depth to his paintings.
Really funny at times; he's very forthright in his letters sometimes
to the point of arrogance, but it's always tempered by humility. -
Almost done. I've enjoyed it very much so far. Mostly letters he wrote and interviews, so not quite a history of his life, but I love learning his opinions on everything and how he worked.

Didn't read so much as skimmed for a paper on him. What I did read was interesting. I love his paintings!
