This is one of those books that really drew me in. I first have to say that it is a dark romance and has some triggers. If that bothers you then this is not the book for you. I mean there were times when I was like wth but I loved every moment of it.
Nick is the owner to a club called Odyssey and he is also part of the mafia. He loves his club and keeps a strict policy of what happens there stays there. Then one night he sees a girl who looks lost and he asks her what she is doing there and she tells him she needs a job and would like to be a waitress.
Only thing is Nick wants her for himself and as a play thing but he is not sure she will be up for that. This is where the story really kicks off and things start to happen so much so that you will not be able to put this book down until you are finished it. I know I couldn't and I can't wait for the next book in the series.

*New to me author
I LOVED this story! Tease Me is a mafia story but a "normal" kidnap and killing story. This is a hidden mafia story that doesn't wrap around so much around it. Nick is the mafia with his family. But his family has a business outside that too. The Dark Odyssey is that business. When Mia comes in to get a waitress job Nick takes an interest in her. Neither Nick or Mia realize that their lives are so intertwined.
The heat, intrigue, and mystery draw you right in from the very first page. You have to keep reading until you know what is going to happen next. I was up until 1 a.m with blurred eyes because I HAD to finish this story. I can not wait to read the next one. -
I liked the setup here. Heroine needs money to pay off brother's debt & father's medical bills, works for mob boss.
I didn't see the twist at the end coming, so that was fun, too.
But after her initial bravery, our heroine was kind of lame. If she'd had more (any) agency in the second half of the book, I would have given this a much higher rating, but she becomes a complete pawn/object, and that's not my jam.
Also, after reading Asher Black and friends, who are all about security and guarding themselves, it seemed like this book was a little light on that, though I don't actually know anything about the mafia. -
I really enjoyed this book and I thought it was a great way to kick off this series. This book offers up plenty of sizzling heat, excitement, suspense, powerful emotions, tension and drama. Nick and Mia made a great couple. They had intense chemistry and shared a very strong attraction. There is a compelling cast of secondary characters hold a wealth of potential for future books in this series. The story is lush and engaging with its intoxicating blend of gritty mafia and steamy kink. Just as a heads up: This is a dark romance and as such it does contain content that will not appeal to every reader or even be triggers for some. So be aware before choosing to read. This is my independent, impartial review.

The ultimate combination. Good read with all my go to elements. The chemistry between the two was hot! Very hot. It got to be a smut fest for awhile, but then the plot progressed.
Reading the next for sure -
This is dark but super sexy and I loved the underlying mafia storyline but it didn't detract from the main one. Nick and Mia have amazing chemistry together and the story has some twists and turns I didn't see coming which kept me on edge.

This is thirty-four year old, Nikolai Giordano, and attorney Mia Chase’s story line.

Told from dual first person perspectives (Nick and Mia ) TEASE ME follows the building relationship between thirty-four year old, Nikolai Giordano, and attorney Mia Chase. HOLY HELL! Tease Me was a deliciously dark read that I couldn't get enough of. Nick's family is mafia, and when Mia comes in to apply for a waitress job at his club, the Dark Odyssey, she catches her eye, which starts them on one hell of a journey, filled with next level sexiness. The intense chemistry seriously tried to short circuit my kindle while reading, and the point when it won't be denied?! OMG I needed the air conditioning set to the highest level. There's not just the sexiness, there are those twists that kept my f-bombs dropping like crazy, but I have to say it again, it is a dark read which may trigger some, and others who may or may not always like the content. Me?! I'm a dark & twisty person deep down, so while I did get mad at times, this story still fed my dark & twisty self. I CANNOT WAIT for more of this series, and HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND to those who crave the darkness!

DNF 11% I am not sure how this book got so many good reviews. It was ridiculous and extremely disjointed from the very beginning. I got a few chapters in and could just tell I wouldn’t be able to take this book seriously at all.

This book is ok. It just drug in parts so I had trouble finishing it. I was still going to give it 3 stars but it had the dreaded leaving you for your own good trope. I would love to never encounter this tired trope ever again.

WOW. THIS WAS A PRETTY LENGTHY MAFIA STORY, THAT WHILE AVERAGE IS STILL ENJOYABLE.
NICK is a cocky son of a bitch. And why wouldn't he be? He's part of one of the powerful mafia family in the U.S and he owns Dark Odyssey, a sex club. When one night he catches sight of a beautiful blonde outside his club, and she comes up to him asking for a job, he gladly offers it to her - a 'Personal Waitress aka Personal Sex Toy' after an interview session of 'Take of your clothes' and shoving his fingers up her wet pussy. Nick and Mia never lacked for passion, it was the driving point of the story apart from the murder mystery plot going on. Nick's pretty close knit with his brothers, and when his best friend Tommy gets gunned down, he's determined to investigate What The Fuck happened and get payback on behalf of Tommy. But as he digs deeper, he realizes that he may not have known his best friend as well as he did if the man was involved with another triad, drugs and some other dangerous shit. While Nick's life wreck up a havoc, the only sanctuary he has is Mia and their mind-blowing sex. To say the least, the poor man has a ton loads of shit on his shoulders, mostly emotional. But, I have to say unlike most mafia stories, it's refreshing to find one who has loved and isn't afraid to love, even if he does try to push Mia away later.
MIA, a harvard law graduate who had her life paved out for her, to be a professional career woman and the husband and kids one day, until family pulls her back home and now they are littered with debts no one can pay. Desperate, she takes up her friend's suggestion to work as a 'waitress' at the high end club 'Dark Odyssey'. Mia's never slept with anyone except for her ex of 6 years who cheated on her with other best friend. Now, the man she's going to work for is expecting her to get naked around him. Can she do it? Mia's not a prude, but she's also wary of Nick and the dangerous aura he exudes. He certainly makes her lose all inhibitions and turns her into a wild sex cat. Desperation drove her to sacrifice her body for her family but it also leads her to find love in the arms of a complicated mobster who is the only who can satisfy her.
OVERALL the story dragged a little but it definitely covered the areas of - PASSION, RAWNESS, A LITTLE GRITTY, ACTION AND DANGER and yes ROMANCE. It's not intense, and probably not the most EMOTIONALLY driven one, SEX DRIVEN yes, but in terms of it TUGGING AT YOUR HEARTSTRINGS? No. -

Now she is in need of a job that will pay a lot of money and desperate to keep her family safe.
These two together are like dynamite. They ignite at their first meeting and just keep burning the more into the story I got. They both come from different lives, but they have no idea that their lives are actually intertwined nor that they were made for each other. I loved this story, there was so much going on in the background, but it didn’t distract from Nick and Mia at all, it only added to their story. I enjoyed the twist that the story took as well and did not expect that at all. I give this story a 5-star review and look forward to Gabe’s story in the near future. If you are a lover of mafia, billionaire, suspense, dark and Alpha men who want to play, then this is a great read for you. The Giordano brother will not disappoint. -
Although the sex scenes were hot, I had to skim the entire book to get through it. It was a typical lust at first sight romance novel.
The main plot of this book is that the female lead gets a job as the personal waitress of a mafia boss in a sex dungeon for $100k a year. This is because her dad got in trouble with loan sharks trying to pay off her brother’s drug debts. At the same time, the male lead is trying to find out who killed his best friend. When the female lead’s brother finds out that she is now the lady of a crime boss, he sells her to the male lead’s enemies to physically abuse, potentially rape, and possibly kill. He also admits that he is the one who killed the male lead’s best friend. To the bother, it was nothing but easy money. The male lead comes to save the female lead and kills the brother. In the end, they are married and have a kid named after the dead best friend. (But we also find out that the best friend cheated on his then pregnant wife and got himself hooked to drugs again. He was going to do some stuff against the mafia in order to pay off the drug debts.)
My problem with the book is that she is a Harvard Law grad. She has the academic pedigree to get accepted at most big law firms, with starting salaries around $200k. Why did she sell herself for $100k, when she should have been making double that. -

I loved this hot, sexy romance with suspense. Nick's obsession with Mia is palpable and seeing this angry alpha male's guard lower to let her in is worth seeing. Watching their relationship evolve and grow is a pleasure in more ways than one. Recommend highly!

Mia is a strong heroine who is taking care of her sick father and her 9 yrar old niece Beth. Carter her brother & Beth's Dad has put then under the radar of the Drug Cartel. Her Dad is such soft hearted when it comes to his son. Parents will always protect their child no matter how bad or old they are OR get their young sister to take care of it....

This is a great beginning to this series. This is also my first book by this author, and she had me reeled in hook, line, and sinker. In this book we get excitement, mystery, action, and lets not forget the panty melting times.
Our hero Nick is a short tempered "accountant" who many forget is smarter than they think. He is the youngest brother in the Giordano family, but he has so much going for him. He is known for his short fuse, and is a bit of a ladies man. Mia our heroine is as beautiful as she is smart. She needs to make money in order to save her family. When she stumbles into Nick's life both of theirs change for the better. She awakens Nick's heart, and the two of them start to navigate their way to their HEA.
Of course a mafia themed book would not be complete without some sort of family upheaval. Follow along as these characters help unravel the mystery. -
Good start to another series.
Written in dual first person POV. Good amount of sexy times. No real humor but I wasn’t expecting any. This is a “mafia romance” so be prepared for the darker aspects of that life - murder, torture, sexual assault.
I’ve read other books by this author and she continues the theme that women are property in this world. While she smartens up the heroine in this book - Harvard grad, lawyer - she still has the female MC basically sell her body to pay someone else’s debt. At least this time she does it willingly. I understand the inclination to make the woman the “damsel in distress” and add in the sexual element but it’s getting really repetitive.
We do get a HEA (although Mia’s job in the epilogue is probably the most unrealistic thing in the book given the timeline) and there aren’t any cliffhangers.
