Grant is a tattoo artist/biker who enjoys the art of tattoos meets first timer Leah who was sorta pushed into getting a tattoo bit Grant was already falling head over heels he didn't give her a tattoo until she was serious.
They started out slow since Leah is a shy girl but they had cute first date that turned into more... i was confused about the whole uptight party and why she didn't wanna take him??
That was kinda dumb.
No ow/om drama, no cheating, slight secondary chara, no virgins Idk if he a manwhore or just dates? But doesn't sleep around (he said he hasn't slept around in 3 years)

Girl, I never write anything, I always rate the books I read. I just had to say I loved this book! I have enjoyed all the ones in this series, but this one was my favorite, so thank you for what you do!!! I can't wait for the next one to come out!!!!

Plot: Leah pops into Grant's tattoo parlor one day, looking at designs. She's undecided, though, and isn't sure she really wants a tattoo at all, except that a friend is bullying her into it. Grant, the artist, sees her and falls for her - har. He convinces her that she doesn't have to get a tattoo if she doesn't need one, but he also convinces her to go out to dinner with him. Now he just has to convince her that he loves her just as she is, shyness and all.
Commentary: Grant was perfect - he always seemed to know what to say, and when to push, and when not to. Leah need someone like that because she was extremely shy around others. I can sympathize. There is nothing I'd rather do than not attend a work party. I don't like talking to other people in crowds. So I understand that feeling. That made it even cooler that at the end, Leah was able to talk to the group of people at their home leading to - that was a really great idea, especially for someone who doesn't like to be the center of attention.

Quick read. Second book that I have read from this author and I really enjoyed it. Leah and Grant were so good together. The attraction and chemistry between them was instant. I can’t wait to read more from this author.

Their love affair was steamy and intriguing.

I really enjoyed this story. The characters were awesome and well developed.
Grant is an artist and part owner of a tattoo shop. He meets Leah when she comes in to his shop with questions about getting a tattoo. As soon as he looked into her eyes, he knew that she was the one for him. Now he just needs to convince her of that too.
Leah is an accountant, but also into art. She goes to the tattoo shop because her friend is adamant that she needs a tattoo. She isn't so sure and Grant is more than willing to answer any questions that she has about getting a tattoo. She thinks that he is sweet even though he is covered in tattoo's and is built. Leah also figures that there's no way a guy like him would be interested in a girl like her for the long term, right?
Loved how Grant made Leah comfortable regardless of the situation they were in. I thought how he handled her pushy friend Alison, was awesome and decided that he can be my new book boyfriend. Loved their happy ever after. I definitely recommend reading this book!

Inking up love is book four in the ‘’insta love shy girl’’ series. This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable. Grant hasn’t give up his search of finding his one. When Leah comes into his tattoo shop, he instantly knows she is the woman for him. With Leah being shy, wary and reserved, will she give love a chance?
The chemistry between Leah and Grant is clear to see and I liked them as a couple.
I know she wasn’t in the story much but I really disliked Allison. I hated the way she treated Leah.
I really liked the ending and the epilogue for this story.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and it is an enjoyable read. -
A Good Read If You Like Insta Love
This really checked all the boxes: hot guy with a gooey interior, sweet girl, tattoos. Since it is a short story, things move quickly, we don't get a deep sense of the characters or in this case why is Leah so shy. But I really liked how he saw it and wanted to help her overcome it as long as she felt comfortable. The whole office party thing was sweet, but it had an underlying creepy factor to me, but I think that is a me problem. But it is Insta love and while I am so glad it is displayed proudly in the series name, I was still out off by how quickly they said it. Not necessarily how quickly their relationship progressed, because that seemed plausible, but how quickly they were throwing around the the I Love You's. But it was a satisfying way to spend a Sunday night! -
Leah is extremely shy but when her friend pressures her into getting tattoo, she stops by the parlor a day early to browse the artwork and ask questions ahead of time.
When Grant sees Leah he is smacked with instant attraction. After holding a conversation with her he knows that she is the one he is has been waiting for, so with a gentle hand and an extremely huge heart he shows her.
I absolutely love Grant! He is the perfect alpha with a heart of gold and Leah is so darn sweet and compassionate. I just wish that Haley would’ve expanded the plot a little more so I could connect with the characters better and the story didn’t feel so rushed, it left me wanting more of their story.

Fresh new to me..
I really enjoyed this book and this authors writing style. It's got a refreshing easy flow to it. I enjoyed both MC's Grant and Leah very much. I felt their relationship developed sweetly, and instead of turning their differences or flaws into an antsy story line, they were written into building their lives together with honesty and figuring out how to make life work around and with them as a solid foundation in becoming a permanent couple.
I'm looking forward to reading more of this author! -
I AM OBSSESSED. I was looking for tattooist recs, I came across this. Not only is it tattoo vibes but the FMC has my name, freckles and the same colour eyes as me. For that alone I am obsessed because anyone that calls a FMC, Leah. Deserves a million stars.
The book itself is really short so bare that in mind if you do decide to read it, it did feel slightly rushed I would have liked for their to be a little more build up and maybe a background of the characters before they met. I do however love in another breathe how quick it did go, my romantic heart adored the HEA. -

I’ve never read a Haley Travis book before. This was just the beginning of my journey through her work.
This was a quick fun read with a lot of love along the way. Anyone that likes sweet romance reads needs to read this book.
I can’t wait to start the next book.

This book is my catnip, I swear! There is just something about a big guy covered in ink (and I don't even like tattoos IRL) who is just a sweetheart through and through. Grant has Leah's back, no matter what, and that gives Leah the strength to put herself out there and go for what she wants. And what she wants most of all is Grant!

This was so sweet it gave me a toothache. No really, it was so OTT sugary sweet I kind of was wanting to roll my eyes. I love insta-love romances but he wasn't very Alpha and that's how I like my men.

Nice, sweet story
My first time reading this writer, and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised.
The story was nice, and sweet, not my usual fare, but still good.
The only thing I had an issue with was the lack of drama, hence the four star rating. -
