It's a secret baby trope that's quickly read making it a fun, clean fluff piece good for an afternoon diversion.

I haven't read many (any?) stories where someone has retroactive amnesia - I had never heard that term before. But Jennifer Youngblood did such a great job of incorporating it into the story and making the characters work around it. Many times in this story, the raw emotion felt very real. I want to read the rest of the series!

A story of forgiveness and second chances
This is a story of Landry's and Daphne's chance to forgive one another for past wrongs and have a second chance at love. What a sweet reminder of God's love and redemptive power despite our many faults! -

Unstoppable meets immovable
This is a romantic story of hearts healing. Landry, now a Patriots star, and Daphne, the love of his youth, are appealing characters. The story hit a snag for me, however, when Daphne was so concerned about her "performance" in church as a soloist. There are other moments of very unloving behavior in the people of this church and my focus turned to how churches are healing stations for sinners. Jennifer Youngblood removed the masks and let us see how churches aren't full of perfect people but people in need. It's sad when hearts don't change and growth doesn't happen. That's the whole point of this story for me and I couldn't put the book down until I knew how Daphne and Landry would react to the lie they've lived. A bit unsettling, a bit sad and a bit romantic and fun. Always Jennifer Youngblood good. -
People grow and change
Landry and Daphne are a great couple with plenty of chemistry. I loved the underlying message that people can change and forgiveness is a necessity. I loved how fiercely Landry loves Daphne and isn’t willing to let anything get in the way, even his mother. I liked seeing how Daphne had grown and changed. And She was willing to see and accept that in others. There were a number of problems and plenty of tension. This is an intriguing book with a great message. -
The story of a sweet couple who broke up and didn't see each other for many years. They each pretend to others that they are fine. But a terrible accident makes all those fake smiles go away. The story is fascinating and took hold of my emotions. I almost cried when I thought the worst. I'm not telling any details, but the story is one I will probably read more than once. And with all the books I have, that doesn't happen very often. Give it a chance - I loved it.
